Loved everything from how welcoming and hospitable Helga was, to the finer details such as quality Toiletries 👌 The bed was big and super comfortable. Bedding is high end quality from Volpes. The entire place is well decorated and well maintained!! We made prior arrangements to checkin later than the stipulated time as we were traveling from jhb, Helga was kind enough to wait for us and still had s smile on her face😃 The room is exactly as in the pictures, no false advertisement! Loved how spacious the space is, especially the bathroom. Also, I loved the heat lights, they come in very handy now in winter. Breakfast was amazing, except I would have loved some meat, either sausages or bacon hahaha 🥓 . Overall, Helga went an extra mile to make us feel welcomed! Highly recommend the place and will definitely be going back!!!

The only thing that was missing was some meat on the breakfast, sausages and or bacon 😋 and having to leave hahaha, that's the only reason I'm rating 9 instead of 10.

Helga is a wonderful host. The room was clean and neat and had all the amenities that you would need. The room is practical and spacious with enough plugs. The bathroom is also spotless and very neat. The breakfast was amazing. The accommodation is conveniently located nearby a shopping centre with restaurants and retail stores. Room is well suited for a couple or single person.

Exceptional, filling breakfast! The hosts are beyond accommodating and so friendly and helpful... The room was even bigger than I thought and super clean! What an awesome sleep on that massive bed!! Gosh can I please just go back because Casa Mia is everything and more!!!!

Everything. Area is nice. Was easy for me to find. I stayed there so I could be closer for my graduation event. Room is spacious, bed very comfortable, everything very clean and all essentials I needed were in the room too. Even my food was warmed by the host! I was able to park inside the property too. I also had access to a private patio/veranda. They also had a loadshedding schedule and your wifi, TV still works during loadshed. Lights are provided. Basically, you are not suprised by loadshedding effect.

breakfast was great, Helga was courteous, friendly, understanding, hospitable, felt like been at home. bed was absolutely comfortable, 💯 beautiful bathroom, very, clean, neat, hygienic. I would definitely go there again, close to shopping complex if needed anything. good place to stay if you in pietermaritzburg.

Helga was a fantastic hostess. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The room is exquisitely neat and clean and there is lots of attention to detail to make the stay comfortable. The location is great as an overnight after an "up-run" of the Comrades marathon - it is walking distance from the finish.

Nothing, everything was great

Very friendly staff, who goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure you are comfortable. I felt very safe and secure. TV and wifi still work during hours of load shedding, all streaming services needed available, and the room is very beautiful. I will definitely stay there again if I ever find myself in the Pietermaritzburg area for another work trip.

I loved how neat the places was. We really enjoyed the personal touches. It was so clean and serene. The host is so sweet. Enjoyed the fact that there was extra bottles of water in the bar fridge. At an additional cost but we didn't mind.

I really enjoyed my stay and will highly recommend Casa Mia Guesthouse in Pietermaritzburg. The room and bathroom is very clean and comfortable and has everything that you need.
