I loved how accommodating the staff is! They helped us with a fair bit! The property is nice and quiet which is perfect when you want to get away from the busy city life for a little bit. It's also pretty close to Loftus Versveld, which helped us since we were heading to watch the Bulls v Sharks game. Loved it so much, we booked another night when we were supposed to check out.

I think the only thing may have been the cleanliness of the sheets. They may just need to be replaced, but it wasn't bad at all to deter us from enjoying our stay at Pro-Active Guesthouse.

For us the location was perfect. It's a quiet neighbourhood but centrally located. The room was spotless, and had all the amenities expected for the price. The bed was really firm, which suited me perfectly, but my wife thought it was too firm, but not uncomfortably so. Aircon was effective, the fridge and kettle worked. Parking wasn't an issue, and the staff were fantastic!

My only complaint was the pillows. They were a bit thin and in that state pillows get to after a while where they're neither firm enough, nor soft enough. An extra pillow would have been nice. I shoved a throw cushion under my main pillow for a little elevation and got on just fine though.

Wonderful, lovely decoration, comfortable rooms and beds, very clean, green compound, really good value for money! And the staff is great, lively and friendly, up for a chat and a laugh if you are but also happy to give you your space if that's what you prefer. Also walking distance from a bank and a supermarket which is convenient as you can do your own cooking (again in a very clean kitchen). I would definitely come back next time I'm in Pretoria.

It was our second stay and we were back after a few years. The rooms are small but all we needed were provided. What we enjoyed most is the strong Wifi and a very good aircon which is necessary in this hot summer. The location in nice and very affordable.

I have only one comments for improvement: The sheets and towels were clean; however, in public places, they should be white to convey a better sense of hygiene.

Everything was fine location and room clean

The lady at reception switched off the gyser the water was cold,we had to wait for 1h30 minutes but still water was cold we took a shower regardless cos we had to leave,I feel like that is very selfish

The service was incredible! The rooms were breathtakingly beautiful, gorgeously furnished, and fitted with everything you might need. I LOVED the electric blanket it was our highlight feature. The water was HOT, we had enough towels and an enjoyable stay. I cannot wait for our next visit.

That we had to leave wish checkout was around 3pm 😂😂😂 we were offered a gorgeous room with Netflix the wifi was just slow. But we still had an amazing stay.

My friend and I had stayed in the Room #4 before. It was equally good this time. Sipho -- I don't know his surname -- was the perfect host, both before we arrived via WhatsApp and later when we wanted to leave our key at the desk.

I like tea first thing in the morning. We had sachets of coffee in our room but no teabags. Also, it was a good thing that I brought my own bath soap ! All Saturday afternoon, evening, and night a cheerful party -- a birthday party I think -- braaied and ate and drank near the gate. Their noise lasted just a little bit too long, but it didn't matter. We were surprised to see a couple of the same men already drinking outside the lounge when we checked out the next morning.

We stayed over for the Springboks rugby game. They let us fetch the keys before the game in order to come in late after the game. Staff Very Friendly and Accommodating.
