The location,view around is proper plus hotel has nice bar too

I hate how their lifts misbehave they need maintenance

It is absolutely stunning: the views and interior!! The pictures don't do the Hotel any justice. The team is amazing ((Receptionists to learners and the Security Team) friendly, welcoming and helpful. (E.g. David, Nthabiseng etc]. The location was perfect, a walking distance.

The size of the room had me at a shock but I love the room we got. They are all the same size, so this was no longer of concern. We could not eat takeaways at the resturant/bar even though we were willing to buy there to complement our meal. The sheet covers were not well yanked, but everything else was lovely.

I recently spent two nights at Hotel 224 Apartment, and overall, my experience was very positive. Check-In & Reception: While the check-in process was slightly slow—likely due to system delays—the front desk staff were professional, courteous, and helpful throughout. Room Experience: My apartment was clean and well-appointed. The kitchen was spotless and fully equipped with all necessary utensils and appliances. The bathroom was also in excellent condition, offering strong water pressure and consistent hot water. The bedroom was spacious, comfortably furnished, and the bed provided a restful night's sleep. Dining: The buffet was decent, earning a 6/10 from me. However, the dessert selection was impressive, offering a wide variety of sweet options. I also tried the à la carte menu. Although I was disappointed to see the lamb chops removed, the pork chops were a pleasant surprise—well-cooked and flavorful. Despite the restaurant being busy with buffet preparations, my order arrived quickly. Bar & Service: The bar had a great variety of cocktails and drinks. Special thanks to my lovely waitress, Lizer, who provided outstanding service and made the experience even more enjoyable. Facilities & Staff: The restaurant is large and beautifully designed. Across the board, staff members were warm and welcoming—from the housekeeping staff who maintained my room to the friendly Tsonga security guard who made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I also used the on-site gym, which was clean, secure, and well-equipped. Overall Rating: 9/10 If you're considering staying here and are someone who checks reviews before booking (as I did), then this is your sign to go for it. Hotel 224 Apartment offers a comfortable, well-rounded experience with excellent staff and amenities.

Noise Levels: The only downside of my stay was the noise. Guests should be prepared for both external noise and internal disturbances, especially from neighboring rooms, as the walls appear to be quite thin.

Wow the apartment exceeded our expectations,very neat and convenient.Everything we ever needed was in that room,hair dryer, iron,pots and pans, utensils, glasses, plates, toaster,stove,oven,air conditioner, shower cap, shampoo, lotion,shower gel etc.It is a home away from home.Very secure parking and wheelchair friendly.The staff also went and extra miles to assist us when my friend's car couldn't start,the brought the jump starter.Friendly staff from the security to the reception.Thank you so much,I look forward to seeing you again soon.

The staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. On arrival I received a welcome drink. When I arrived in my room after check in, I received a phone call from reception to ask if everything was in order with my room. Security staff in the basement parking were also super helpful, especially since the parking spaces are quite small and hard to park in. The breakfast was very good. I also had an excellent view from my room of the Union Buildings, which I wasn't expecting. Overall it was a great experience and I wouldn't mind staying there again.

The beds could be a little more comfortable.

I was a solo traveller ,the room size and bed worked well for me, totally loved it! Just not so sure how big are the other rooms when u are a couple.The bed seem smaller for 2 adults sharing .

I loved everything about Hotel 224, the breakfast was to die for, my room 1102 was cleaned and it was very comfortable. I loved the services that the driver offered to me, I got to work on time and they fetched me from work on time as well and they were very friendly. Overall I would recommend Hotel 224 to everyone. I loved every single thing and their staff is so welcoming and user friendly :) and they had an ironing room wow I could go on and on about their hotel.

Nothing they exceeded my expectations

The central location. Has a gym. Apartments a ideal for families although we were only two. But we appreciate a spacious place. Although you hear many different opinions about Arcadia., to us it was a normal area as any inner city area is in this world.

Everything was ok. we had nothing to complain about.

It was the ideal location for our trip to the Eye Institute. We felt safe and the secure parking was near to the the lift and easy accessible. The buffet supper and breakfast was very good. The staff was was friendly, efficient and went out of their way to help.

The airconditioner in our room leaked water onto the floor(carpet) throughout the night and the towel that I put there was soaking wet the next morning.

the apartment was spacious and clean, beautiful views from the windows. food was delicious and well prepared. the staff were very friendly and they went out of their way to assist us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. the Manager was also very accommodating and sweet. we were upgraded from the hotel room to an apartment without a hassle.

the hotel room was alit to tight for 2 adults and the bathroom was extremely cramped and small.
