I liked the room we were given it gave my children a great view of the swimming pool. The breakfast was great and the beds were so comfortable we didn't want to wake up.

The parking cost. Since I will be accommodated by Southern Sun the least I would expect is for my vehicle to be protected and not additional cost from what I have already paid. When you receive a visitor you accommodate them including their positions. I was not happy with the fact that the hotel could not accommodate my car for a night.

Location was excellent. However, the hooting of the taxis is very disturbing especially if you in a room close to the road where the taxis are traveling. This must be attended to urgently. I asked to be moved to a room away from the noise of the hooting. The staff were accommodating and facilitated the move efficiently. The hotel is close the Metro Mosque and the Green Leaf Grill which is Halal.

The room is comfortable but the decor is dated. The rooms need to be refurbished. The bath is small and showering is uncomfortable. The lighting is too dim. Notwithstanding this I will still use the hotel.

People working at the hotel are excellent and friendly. Hotel is super clean. A driver employed by the hotel will drive you after reservation, free of charge (don’t know for the big journey to the Airport). Rooms are big. King size bed was more than confortable, really good! Restaurant is buffet type, food is good but not amazing though. Fitness room with equipment in good state, but unfortunately was not able to test it.

Room are a little bit aged now, especially the bathroom (refurbishement will start shortly - exhibition room already renewed). Air conditioner is a bit noisy but is cooling at least. Room was a bit dark for office work in the evening, but again with the refurbishement program this should be corrected.

Perfect location not too much traffic, breakfast was just fine there wasn’t too much variety of food . The room was big love that there is enough space to move around and relax

The smell of cigarette in the room , I know I booked a smoking room but didn’t expect the room to smell like someone just smoked when we arrived. I always choose rooms with showers no tub wasn’t pleasantly surprised with the tub and shower combo definitely a no no for me

Breakfast was great with wide range for everyone’s needs. Rooms were good size with comfy beds. Swimming pool area is lovely with restful ambience. Very quiet hotel considering it’s on a main road. Generally pleasant staff Delicious food during dinner by room service. Made our evening after long day of travelling :)

The staff could be friendlier/ more professional. Reception staff were great at check in and check out. But when it came to resolving issue with broken lift for a wheelchair user they disappeared. Had to have firm words with manager before this was dealt with. 1 or 2 staff during breakfast were also rude. I don’t appreciate being told how to dress my baby or what to feed them by hotel waitress. One comment is bad enough but a running commentary is way beyond what I expected Fridge and safe in room were not working. But when reported this was quickly resolved by their technician

1. Lunch and dinner should be an option when making the booking. I had to pay separately for the lunch and dinner on 7th October. Dinner dessert choices ...not good at all. 2. It is very disappointing that a huge facility like Southern Sun ...we still need to pay for parkung. Very sad. 3. We were supposed to check out at 14h00 but the housing keeping staff kept harassing us 2 hours before check out. Communication needs to improve between housekeeping and reception regarding this.

Their breakfast was good and had a variety of food

The communication between the restaurant and reception in terms of charging meals to the room wasn't good. Thus frustrating the guests. There were water issues on the 10th, and it wasn't communicated to the guests 🙄, and we had to consistently go to the reception to get updates. The restaurant staff takes too long to bring the teas.

Was very happy about our rooms, cleanliness, breakfast variety and the kids had a good time especially at the pool. The gentleman that assisted us with our booking went as far as orgarnizing a wheelchair for my daughter. Even when we asked for the iron and ironing board they helped us.

Some staff members at the restuarant seemed uninterested and impatient. First it was the ladies i found on Saturday when i enquired about dinner buffet and the one that was checking our booking at breakfast. It felt like we were at some government clinic. Their attitude was not welcoming at all.

The breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed every bit of it. The location was perfect.

I needed to every time ask for enough tea station for a family of 4 and the last day before checking out the next morning the bathroom essentials and towels were not refilled and there were no towels at all put in the bathroom. I needed to call reception and although it was attended to, you should not call for it.

good breakfast, lovely tasty muffins, Great coffee to die for, great staff at the bar, marvelous security inside, Quick assistance for room service, comfortable pillows & bed, excellent location.

Breakfast often running out of milk on coffee machine, running out of cups, running out of cereal, running out of muffins, Room aircon was very old, no ventilation in the bath room, always calling for extra bathroom toiletries booked in family room.
