The place is perfect for privacy and peace of mind. The staff and host were friendly and interactive especially the host Kobus. There's even pool that's operational for 24hours. Easy access control. The chalet we booked was a stand alone so it had even more privacy. Definitely recommending this place for the Nature and Forestry lovers.

There is literally isn't anything bad I identified about the place. It all depends on what each person is looking for. As for me I would chose an isolated and peaceful place any day.

Property is located on a working Macadamia nut orchard, so by definition it's off the beaten path. But that also means it's very peaceful. Staff (Julie) was incredibly attentive. Our suite was very clean and full of thoughtful touches. Security is extensive.

Only minor maintenance issues: a couple of light/plug switches were non-functional and the vanity light in the bathroom was rather dim. Neither affected our stay.

The breakfast was okay but not much of a variety. The location is amazing. It is so serene and beautiful.The host, Brian, was welcoming and helpful. They have an honesty bar. The pool was clean and not deep.

Not that I did not like it but the closest shops and restaurants are quite a drive. You will need a car ro go and have lunch and/or dinner because there is no restaurant at the property.

Set in a beautiful, quiet and secure location of White River, with convenient parking. The room was outstanding with a very comfortable king bed and plenty of cupboard space. The bathroom with shower was superb and just what was required.The whole setup just worked so well for me as a solo traveller. The breakfast was more than adequate and the management team were great. Can thoroughly recomend Country Lane Lodge.

The lodge is in located on a working farm and you can walk through the beautiful gardens. Location is great if you need a place to stay near the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Delicious breakfast too!

Can't think of anything we didn't like. It was perfect for one night stay after dropping a friend at the airport.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the bed was very generous. I loved that they have their own chickens for egg production, own rabbits, birds and little farm for macadamia, lemons etc. very cute an ecological lodge! Worth every Rand!

Only the bumpy road on the way to the property but that is nothing the property can do about it. It’s a great accommodation!

The grounds are stunning! The rooms are spacious, the pool area is relaxing, the dining area is also charming. The bed was comfortable and there is a/c in the room. They provide in room coffee and tea as well, and allow you to bring your own food and drinks if you want. There is a mini fridge.

Only minor thing if note, for our room there was no outlet in the bathroom or near a mirror.

Very peaceful. Clean. Staff very friendly. We were late for our check in but they were so kind and assisted us even late. Everything was well taken care off during the stay. Most importantly it does look like the photos

The breakfast was fine. I would recommend options for swapping some items like pork sausage for a cheese griller or more bacon or hash browns.

Only thing I would recommend are stiffer pillows.

The Breakfast was fresh, Clean, tasty, enough portion, and the cook was excellent. on our last day we were served Kudu patty as an add-on and it was super tasty. The room and the bathroom were a fair size and cozy.

The aircon had a very bright purple lifting which could not be switched off during the night and made the room light and therefore disturbing, one needs full darkness to catch a very good deep sleep.
