This hotel is a gem. It has the best location, right in the middle of myeongdong. It's basically out of the door and you are in myeongdong, unlike other hotels which require you to walk for at least 5 mins. Despite the location in the middle of the busy street, I can't really hear anything in the room at night. it's not a luxury hotel but definitely has everything you need to make you comfortable. The bed is comfortable, space is a little tight but the way they organise the room makes it easier to put everything away. The hotel also super close to a subway station. Such a win for a location!! The hotel also has in house coin laundry, money exchange machine, free massage chairs to use after a long walk, free snacks and coffee to use in the afternoon. They also have in house access to 7/11 downstairs, starbucks is just next door. There is also a doctor and pharmacy right next to the hotel. They are both fluent in english and affordable too. But the highlight of all is how friendly, welcoming, helpful and customer oriented staff are. They are all super helpful from helping you organising a taxi, showing you the way to use public transport, recommending the best food to try and more. They are all fluent in english. Not to forget to mention the housekeeping staff who has been super amazing in cleaning our room, they always remember to top up everything fron water to coffee without us asking. They are also very friendly . Thank you to all the staff at The Metro Hotel myeongdong. we will definitely be back here if we ever come to Korea again.

Room is spacious, very clean and comfortable bed. Very good location as it's just a few steps from Myeongdong night market, a lot of shops, cafes, restaurants and euljiro-1ga (Hana bank) train station, go to Exit 6. Nearby a bus stop if you are taking the airport bus. Euljiro or the one on Ibis Myeongdong stop. Also just accross Lotte malls, Global ATMs. We loved that we can just come out and eat, shop then come back to our room. Our room is always clean when we come to rest. This is a must place for families. Just want to thank and commend the cleaning team. We also have complimentary water every day. There's a gym, massage chairs, ramen vendo machine, a laundry room! The washer and dryer works perfectly. Thank you Metro Hotel Myeongdong. We had a wonderful stay.

The location is perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul. It is located a very short walk from the airport limousine bus stop (approximately two city blocks), and in the area of the exciting night market. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and very reasonably priced when compared to hotel rooms in Tokyo at the end of our cruise. We were able to easily walk to all of the sites that we were interested in seeing. Many excellent restaurants near the hotel and the lobby is connected to a Starbucks and a 7-eleven. You can grab a bottle of Soju for your room at the 7-eleven for less than $2.00.

Very good value hotel just a minute walk to the street food market. Comfortable enough, clean and had a mini fridge. Very convenient 7-eleven next to lobby. Fantastic location with shopping for skincare, ginseng, clothing right on the doorstep yet quiet enough as it's tucked out of the way of most foot traffic. Didn't try the hotel breakfast which was being offered around 10000 krw on the 9th floor because there are so many restaurants and cafes just outside. Helpful hotel reception helped book our morning airport taxi @ fixed rate of 85,000 krw.

Amazing location—right in the middle of Myeongdong and super close to all the shops and attractions! The rooms were always clean and well-kept, and the staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Even with a bit of a language barrier, communication was smooth and easy. Becky was especially great—she helped us order taxis, always welcomed us with a smile, and her English made asking for directions really convenient. We also enjoyed meeting other travelers at Metro, which was a nice place to relax after a day out. The smokers’ lounge was a big plus, too—much easier than hunting for smoking zones. Room sizes, bathrooms, and toilets were all spacious, which was perfect for us as bigger Polynesian travelers. They also have laundry in two levels, dryer and washer which was so convenient. To add the cherry on top, theres a 7/11 (24 hour) and Starbucks on ground floor too for those late snack & early morning coffee runs. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was sometimes a hit and miss, the staff were always welcoming & allow us to finish our meals even if it was after 10am. Just wish they had more egg selection but they had a good variety of side dishes to try.

There is no doubt that the Metro Hotel's great advantage is its location. In the heart of Myeongdong, with close access to hundreds of nearby shops and restaurants, but also with short distances to the most important cultural and tourist attractions of Seoul. Nearby there is a subway station and bus lines, from which you can get literally everywhere. The hotel staff is also fantastic, extremely helpful and very nice people. I recommend breakfast, a large variety of products of continental cuisine but also local. The last thing is cleanliness, absolutely no complaints. I highly recommend the hotel, I will definitely return to Metro next year.

We had a fantastic 7-night stay at this hotel, located right in the heart of Myeongdong – perfect for shopping, dining, and easy access to public transport. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome. Our room was surprisingly spacious and comfortably accommodated two adults and two kids (ages 10 and 13), along with two large suitcases. It was a great base for exploring Seoul, and we appreciated having the extra space after long days out. Highly recommend this hotel for families looking for convenience, comfort, and great service in one of the city’s most vibrant areas.

Metro Hotel is located in a very convenient location in Myeondong Seoul. There are two subway lines very close to the hotel making it easy to access the city, and get to from the airport., The Hotel is also walking distance to many of the popular attractions. The area is filled with restaurants and shops. In the afternoon into the evening there are tones of street vendors serving delicious food to try. The staff at the hotel was also very friendly and excellent. I would strongly recommend the Metro Hotel Myeongdong.

I cannot think of anything that I disliked,

Hotel Metro Myeongdong exceeded our expectations! The location was ideal and esp. for public transportation: the hotel is closest to the (green line) Euljiro 1(il)- ga station. From Incheon airport, you could take the express train to Seoul Station and take the 1 line to City Hall, which puts you on the green line. This is only necessary if you have baggage and wish to arrive at a station closest to the hotel. Otherwise, you have other options of walking from Seoul Station or Myeongdong station. Since we love and don't mind walking, the hotel is within walking distance to the Palaces, the Bukchon Hanok Village, Seoul Tower, Namdaemun market and is literally a stone's throw of plenty of restaurants, the Myeongdong Night Market as well as Lotte Department Store. Oh! Did I mention that there's a petit 7-eleven next to the hotel? In addition, the hotel is clean and provides ample amenities to make your stay a more than pleasant and comfortable one.
