I liked how spotless the hotel was ,bidet ohhhh my god that should be implemented around the world...it was with remote control also the curtains .. amazing location just walking distance from everything great restaurants,cafe shops,shoppingarea,olive young,Daiso,also access to the subway and buses..i didn't try but I'm sure it's great was a travelaroundthecity,lotte department store was the cherry on top wonderful food court and every luxury brand you can think off with tax return and also duty free in the last 3 floors with amazing discounts...found the famous Tirtir there

I would have given full marks except the room service was poor. We asked for some milk for our in-room coffee. The coffee is provided free, but they said they would provide free milk for 1 cup, but for the second cup it would be KRW 8000. This is utterly absurd when paying KRW 740,000 for one night for the room. It’s not really the money, I would expect a more respectful service from a hotel of this calibre.

Beautiful decor

The check in mentioned 5 times that one room has lounge and the other room had “no lounge included for you”. Way too much emphasis on this - were they expecting us to steal lounge time? Not sure what that was. We had booked lounge for the adults and not the teenagers who don’t care about lounges… As it happened the lounge is usually almost empty of guests and overstaffed.

The Lotte Hotel was very nice and we enjoyed having a suite. It was spacious and clean and even had a clothes refreshing machine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The laundry service was excellent. There is a good selection of restaurants and bars in the hotel. It is well-located in that district of Seoul and sits above the large Lotte shopping mall which is very handy, also with its food mall. Hotel had a great spa and even a golf driving range which I enjoyed using.

Some of the staff did not really speak English sufficiently well so we did have one or two occasions where we were not understood. We had the executive tower access with the suite, but when we invited our daughters to the executive level we had to pay a supplement which was very expensive and not at all value for money. Sometimes in the executive lounge (in an attempt to be attentive) the staff hover over you and it is not that comfortable or enjoyable as you feel you are being watched or judged. The pool facility is a little dated in need of a refresh - and the same with the golf facilities (they should have more updated technology and golf gear).

Nice large rooms with a gentile staff and the views were amazing. Their main buffet restaurant was out of this world thought quite expensive. It was very handy to have the Lotte shopping department store on the premise and you could also eat there. They had several tax free floors with all the brands and the cosmetics.

The location is excellent for business people but we found it difficult to walk around as distances are so great..and taxis are not easily available in the area. We had also paid for the executive lounge but it’s not worth it the food is awful only the breakfast is good. The closed space was small and no real draws.

The executive tower was generally satisfactory. The contemporary luxury lobby on the 15th floor was impressive. The staff was accommodating and efficient. Room service was prompt and reliable. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The furnishings were modern and comfortable. The Wi-Fi connection was strong and reliable. The bathroom was well-equipped, and the amenities were luxurious. The hotel's central location was convenient for business and leisure activities. The attached mall provided convenient access to shopping and dining options. The corridors were pleasantly scented. Overall, the hotel provided a luxurious and comfortable experience, consistent with its five-star rating.

One area for improvement is the lack of assistance with luggage handling during my stay. Despite the fact that the hotel staff were occupied at the time, it would have been beneficial to have someone available to assist me with my luggage. With this improvement, I would consider rating the hotel a 10.

The hotel staff was exemplary from the housekeepers to the person who checked us in! Every single employee showed much respect and greeted us every time we entered the lobby or left the hotel. They walked us to the elevator, offered to carry packages, held the elevator door open and made us feel very special. We also liked the ease of checking in and out of your hotel with the special desk on the 15th floor! And our room was spacious and clean as was the rest of the hotel! Loved the fitness center!

Our American breakfast from room service was a little overpriced for what we got. It came with a "sausage" which was only the tip of one (maybe 3/4 inch), the poached eggs were very small as well as the slices of toast they came on. It was just as expensive as the buffet so not worth it at all!

5 star treatment by ALL staff. Spacious room. Good location. Great city view. Two large indies- premier room with dressing room. UK plugs can be used. USB slots available. Charger cables were provided. Very thoughtful - in terms if facilities, little treats to have a relaxing bath . Little things that make your stay even more pleasant . Close to subway stations, shops and restaurants.

The lights cannot be controlled separately. Breakfast is too expensive. Should offer ala-carte for travellers who can’t eat much, first thing in the morning.

The Executive Tower hotel provided a brilliant stay for us. While I can fumble through some Korean language, their staff are impeccable English speakers and were ready to help with anything we needed. The room we stayed in was huge and had great facilities. You can also, without leaving the building, get right into the department store. It's a stone's throw from Myeongdong and the Euljiro 1 station, very convenient to get around the wider city. If I visit Seoul in the near future again, I'd have to stay here.

It's very hard to pick anything out as bad, because overall it was a sublime stay. The worst I could say is the bed covers are oddly loud according to my light-sleeping wife. That's it. Everything else is great.

Staff were incredibly kind, friendly and helpful! We only could check-in around 745pm due to our arrival flight on the first day. Upon our arrival, the check-in staff advised to go get food & drink first and check in later, as the Happy Hour at their lounge finishes the meal/drink service at 8pm. We followed their advice and went to the lounge, and saw the lounge staff waiting for us. They were all so very kind and helpful - the bartender even came to our table at 8pm and offered to bring drinks specially just because we were so late and he didn't want us to miss anything. I usually don't have high expectation on hotel buffet but they had good food overall - lamb chops were tender and delicious! Overall the experience was much better than Shilla.

It was kinda strange that they only offer bottled waters (although they are Evian) at the lounge, while they try to be environmental friendly. I wish there was water jar that I could refill my glass rather than having to open plastic bottles. Gym was in the main tower and the way to the gym was little complicated.
