Good Room. Good Location. Very Close to Airport Bus Stop. Friendly Staff.

Poor Wifi. Really Need to be improve

The room was very large. The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved that there were so many storage options in the room. The shower was spacious. The Japanese style toilet is great. The room and bathroom both were very clean. The room was cleaned everyday and clean sheets were put on. The hardwood floors are always our preference over carpet so we were super happy that it was the case. The fridge in the room was also really helpful. There are great cafes nearby which is good for a quick bite any time of the day as they open early and close late. The location is great, this is our second time staying in this area in Seoul, it’s always a pleasure.

This is not really the hotels fault, but you should be careful as the toilet (and every toilet in S. Korea) is extremely sensitive to throwing anything in it, so try to not block it by not throwing too much toilet paper in there. Really, just don’t. Another common problem again is related to South Korea’s weak plumbing system; there is sometimes sewage smell in the bathroom. This was the case last time in another hotel as well, so this seems to be a problem in S. Korea in general.

Good deal on a comfortably large room in a fun area. Maybe a little outdated, but almost in a nostalgic way. We enjoyed the location - Dongdaemun Design Plaza is a 10 minute walk away. There were multiple train stations within walking distance, so it was very accessible and easy to get around, even late at night. The highlight was the staff - from the beginning they were so kind, helpful and professional. It was really nice to see them every day and say hello. Hardworking and kind people.

The aircon made a high pitched shrieking sound the entire time :( I ended up having to buy earplugs. My only complaint though.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The location is excellent—just a short walk to Gwangjang Market and the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), with a bus stop right outside and a train station nearby, making it super convenient to get around. The staff was polite and courteous, and check-in was smooth. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a window overlooking the street rather than facing a concrete wall—which we really appreciated. The bathroom was also spotless and featured a separate shower, which is a must for us. It was also quiet; the thick walls helped us get a restful night’s sleep, and we felt very safe throughout our stay. The only downsides were the lack of shelves in the fridge and no microwave, which would have been helpful. But overall, a solid stay and great value for the location. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Nice room and comfy bed. Good location, walking distance to train station and DDP Dongdaemun. Bus-stop just at hotel doorstep and its easy to take bus to most of the places like myeong dong seoul station etc. airport shuttle is also right at hotel. If you are late and missed the train, take a bus back to hotel. Hotel Provide a weighing machine which is an add on. We able to borrow umbrellas on a raining day. Thank you for the service.

Pillow too flat. Breakfast choice is not good, everyday same menu, should have change a little on alternate days. Change on breakfast venue, guests were not informed earlier. Should have put a note at reception or room. Hotel recommended us to a BBQ restaurant behind the street and all of us got food poisoning. Please do not recommend this restaurant anymore. All of us were-so sick vomiting and diarrhoea through out the night till next day and all flat in room , wasted a day.

The beds were comfortable. The location was ok. Not too far away from the metro station and shops. Personally, I would have liked to be closer to the centre (though it would have been even more expensive), but for what I was prepared to spend on hotels, it was ideal. This was cheap either but seoul is more expensive than say other cities in korea. Staff was polite and helpful. Airport bus they call it limousine goes from the front of the hotel so easy to get to and from the hotel - no need to book, you can pay in cash or t money card on the bus itself.

The rooms are in need of redecorating. It feels like an old block of flat converted into a hotel. The layout of a room reminded me of a small studio flat. Not value for money. Given what we paid for the rooms, I expected it a little more luxury. The bathroom was small.

The front counter staff at nighttime were very helpful and friendly. I was so hungry and did know where to go eat because I am new to that area. I forgot her name but the lady at the front desk was very helpful and showed me exactly where I can go safely and have myself a satisfying dinner.

I was unfortunate to get the 2nd floor and noise from the streets were definitely bothersome especially with the jet-lag/day & night time difference. I would say getting a good night (deep) sleep would be one of the most important thing coming to a new hotel. I certainly wish that the front desk could have given me much higher floor so that I did have to be waken up by the street noise.

It was my third time here and good news: the only thing I complained during my previous stays has been changed! The wifi is now working perfectly in the room - yayyy! Besides that: the room is very spacious, clean, friendly staff. All you need is nearby: various busses, metro lines, restaurants, shops (mainly around DDP which is in walking distance). Good for the price! Next stay is booked already:)

This time the matress was a little saggy, which caused little back pain, but maybe other people's back won't mind...

The location was great. There was a bus stop right in front and it was a 5-7 minute walk from two train stations. Didn't travel more than 40 minutes to get to further out spots. Very close to Myeondong especially which is only a 10min journey away by bus and this is one of the biggest attractions. The room was also a good size compared to a lot of rooms in Seoul. We could have two big suitcases open at once and move around easily within our rooms.

Lack of plug sockets both sides of the bed.

Great location, very central and with plenty great food options, markets, and public transport within walking distance. Very convenient to get to from the airport as well, as the airport shuttle bus stops a few steps away. Staff were very friendly too!

The beds were smaller than the 'large double bed' mentioned in the listing, making them a bit of a squeeze. They were soft and comfortable nonetheless.
