The check in was super smooth. The location was not hard to find at all. The hotel is conveniently located to everything, you can walk to many places. I also liked the room. It was just my child and I, and this was perfect for the two of us. We just need a safe place to lay our head, we are out sight seeing taking everything in. The room was perfect, clean, two beds, AC, fridge. It worked out for us. I bought snacks and we just kept in the fridge. It was also nice and quiet, not loud.

The only thing that was missing was an elevator. We were on the fifth floor with several luggage and I was fresh out of surgery, not supposed to be lifting or carrying anything heavy for 6 weeks. But the owner who walked us to the property was super helpful and considerate. He carried up our luggage by himself to the 5th floor. Very considerate and I was very grateful for his help in this regard.

We booked last minute and the staff were very helpful. The apartment was in a different location near the main guesthouse. The staff loaded our bags into an SUV and drove us over. It was a great little place, basically an efficiency apartment. We could have cooked if we wanted. There was an apartment size refrigerator and a washing machine with drying rack. Bathroom had shampoo and soap and sufficient towels. The location was in a building in a sweet little neighborhood a few blocks from the busy stuff. At night it was quiet, it felt very safe. There were a couple of convenience stores very close by - a Paris Baguette near as well, and a small GS grocery store. Many great food options near. We had amazing KBBQ during our stay here. Staff was very helpful and very responsive.

I don't mind a hard mattress, but these had springs that didn't budge that made it uncomfortable. There were renovations happening in a couple of building next to the one where we stayed (July 2025) and so the construction work started at 8am daily. This was not a problem for us as we were up early, but if you want to sleep late, this may not be the place for you in the summer of 2025.

Great location with loads of nice cafes and restaurants nearby and close to the subway station. Also very accommodating staff, clean and spacious room. Dog friendly with an extra charge of KRW 20,000 per night for one dog, which is still cheaper than one night at a dog hotel. That's why we chose this accommodation to travel with our dog, even though we had to bring all of our own dog related stuff like dog bed, food bowl and pee pads. It was fine since we were traveling by car anyway. We'd choose this accommodation again, regardless of traveling with or without our dog!

I loved the space of the studio at Ryu Guesthouse. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen - good size fridge and freezer, washing machine with soap, nice bathroom with all the amenities & as much towels as you need (you get more on the first floor - they are small hand towel size, but it didn't bother me). The lication is perfect - few minutes from several convenient stores and +- 7 min walk to bus stop or train station. The aircon was a total lifesaver in this summer heat!! The security is good - you need a password to get into the building and your own password to your room/studio. Also, we sat on the rooftop a few times at night, enjoying the cooler night air and view. Thank you for your kind hospitality Denny - everything was as you advertised!

Quiet and comfortable room. Polite and helpful staff.

They should add a better description on how to find the main entrance. It took a while until I understood it was 1 minutes walk to the left, and then down the road. If you come by taxi they will stop at 22-2, in front of the wrong entrance. If not speaking Korean it can be hard to find out, and I was lucky to get help from a random women living in the building next to the hotel.

The location was perfect, nearby several convenient stores and really convenient for the subway (the closest is at 5-7 minutes walk away). The studio is big enough for 1-2 persons and is equipped with everything you need. Staff was really kind and helped me retrieve my suitcase, wich would be delivered the day after landing (also, they even talked on the pone with the airport operator to give directions). If I went back to Seoul, this is the first place I would seek out again!

The location, as usual (2nd visit), was excellent. Because I stayed for 5 nights, I stayed in the annex, nearby. It was perfectly furnished with washing machine, stove etc. Just that the place felt a little tired. However, location is fabulous if doing a little medical tourism. Extremely clean!

Walls need painting & sofa was saggy. I prefer bigger towels.

The location was amazing. In a nice part of Gangnam near lots of good restaurants and also bus stops and subway stations. It’s simple, clean with just enough space. And I love that they offer reasonable laundry services.

Maybe having to carry our big luggage’s up stairs. Definitely not a deal breaker since you only have to bring it up and down once.

Wow for location and value for money - Garosu-gil district on your doorstep and walkable to Sinsa station - few metro stops from Gangnam or you can walk it. Also wow for the friendliness of the staff. Room size was fab, had everything in it you needed. Would have given 10/10 but beds were a little simple. But for the money and where the guest house is located, you will not get better anywhere else.

I was really happy with the location of the guesthouse. It was so close to the Han River and just a stone's throw from the metro and bus stops. The area was so calm and safe. The guesthouse delivered everything it promised and more! You'll love the room! It's one of the largest you can find in Korea. I would love to come back again and stay for longer.
