Room 101 was spacious with two beds (a double & a single), a small kitchen and a large fridge. There was an eclectic mix of furnishings and fittings. We had the best night’s sleep so far in Spain as there was no street noise so it was very quiet - apart from the rumblings of the plumbing system in the old building! It was centrally located for the main bus station and the port facilities. There is also a rooftop terrace.

We couldn’t get the microwave to work and there were minor maintenance issues such as the TV remote which was falling to pieces, a cracked electrical fitting in the kitchen and a soap dispenser in the shower which refused ti work. A jug to boil water would also have been a bonus.

I spent one month at Hospedaje Lisboa Algeciras. The studio was clean, quiet, comfortable, and all appliances worked well. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It has a rooftop area to enjoy. There is also a community kitchen and laundry. The location is excellent and the owners, Rosa and Jose, were very helpful and provided lots of great suggestions for restaurants and sights. It is not a 5 star property but it is an excellent value!

Rosa and her brother are great hosts - very kind and helpful, they make you feel like in home. When it comes to the hospitality, I can sincerly say that it was the best experience I have ever had while making a reservation via Booking. Moreover, the place has rooftop tarrace which is perfect for spending the evening. It also has a very good location close to the ferry and bus stations. If I ever come to Algeciras again, I can’t imagine choosing a different accomidation.

I rented a studio room. The shower was excellent. I had an office area, a small, complete kitchen, a double bed, and a couch. The bed was next to the couch, not in a separate area, but that was comfortable for me. I liked the privacy. The staff was always available by phone.

I was happy, more than happy, with the accommodations. It is not a tourist area, so communicating with people was more difficult since I have little to no language in Spanish. We do have Google Translate, however. I felt the locals were kind. There were small shops and some cafes. One right under our hotel served entrees and tapas. The hotel is within walking distance from the bus station, and Rosa gave me good instructions and timetables for buses to Lalinea to visit Gibraltar. Jose also helped get me transportation to the Malaga International Airport. My two visits to Gibraltar lasted until after dark, and I was entirely comfortable walking to the hotel at that time.

The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful! They went out of their way to give us directions and suggestions for the local area. Our room and the shared areas of the accommodation were very clean! Our room was great, had a small balcony to the Main Street so we could watch the processions. The shared kitchen and terrace was a welcome surprise and a space which we loved using. We would stay again!!

As many people have mentioned, the owners, Rosa and Jose, are so lovely and sweet. Rosa tried to speak English, as well as my native language for a bit which made me surprised and happy. Both of the owners were extremely nice and kind, they gave me some good restaurants recommendations and things to do in Algeciras by showing map, answered my questions about ferry to Morocco. They seem to sincerely love their job --- hosting people. Especially because I had been staying in airbnb style facilities without meeting hosts prior to this, I really loved their hospitality. The location is very good too - very close to the city center as well as the ferry port and bus station. I asked the owner about laundry machine, and they kindly let me use theirs (but this may have been an exception, so please don't expect them to let you use it as it's not included in the price). I was so happy as I desperately needed to do laundry. If I come back to Algeciras, I'd stay there again. I want to thank Rosa and Jose for making my stay very enjoyable.

The facility is a bit old (but that makes it lovely! And clean, and very organized). Walls are thin (you could hear neighbors sometimes). But these are the only small negative things that I can think of. You get what you pay for --- if you want luxury, stay in the 5 star hotels instead.

A very well run, well maintained accommodation. Communication prior to arrival was great. The owner/manager was friendly and welcoming and spoke perfect English, which was appreciated. Our room was a good size and well set out, with a nice balcony and a wonderful shower. Small attention to details made a big difference: tissues in the bathroom, mirrors and power points in logical, accessible places and enough hangars for your clothes.

Friendly, helpful owners that spoke good English. Comfortable room, small bathroom but shower hot and with great water pressure. Kitchen on top floor with lovely rooftop terrace. Stove, oven microwave and fridge as well as a washing machine. Cafes, bars and restaurants close by as well as a fresh food market. We stayed 4 nights and had a very comfortable stay. Only short walk to bus and Port. Would definitely stay here again based on value for money.

For the price of the room everything was good

This place is fantastic. So clean, so well equipped, safe, spacious and so comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here and I hope to return very soon. The location is just perfect, it's close to the port, bus and train station and the market as well as all the best food. Rosa and Antonio are super duper nice and super helpful with information and anything else you might need. I loved that they maintained a rustic charm of the room and made it comfy, fitted with everything you could need and modern locks as well.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Hospedaje Lisboa Algeciras, and I want to give a special shout-out to Rosa. She made my stay truly exceptional with her warm hospitality and attention to detail. The hotel's location is perfect, close to amenities and transportation. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
