not all staff friendly 😞 ladies were fine but gentleman on in mornings not very smiley or chatty. little things like good morning etc go a long way. A smile is the same in any language pillows very uncomfortable we both had bad neck ache after three nights, Perhaps not so noticeable if only staying one night restaurant a little more expensive that others we have stayed in across Andalusia No lift which I should have checked out before as I have reduced mobility but good downstairs disabled toilet so I could use that without going up and down to our room

The hotel is situated a 20 min car drive from the outskirts of Algeciras right next to the coastline. The view from the terrace facing Gibraltar and Marocco is amazing! The property is generous and well kept. My room was on the first floor with my own terrace facing the sea and the outdoor swimming pool which is part of the hotel. The room and bathroom were modern and nicely decorated. Do not miss out the restaurant of the hotel. It offers delicious fish/seafood, meat and vegetabel dishes. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and responded fast to my requests. A great place! I whish to come back soon!

Fantastic location ! Although we didn’t have clear skies in the morning the views were exceptional. The hotel is in just a few meters from the sea. There is a path that you can walk along and a place where you can go down to the sea. You can not swim here but we were able to sit on the rocks and enjoy walking a bit through shallow water where a couple let their dog run in and out of the water. The hotel was very quiet. Just a few guest where there at that moment. But it was friendly and quiet. No one used the restaurant. At least we didn’t and did not see anybody else do so. There was one other restaurant in the neighborhood where we ate a good meal. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. The swimming pool is small but nice. Breakfast was a little boring but we didn’t mind much. The room was spacious and there is a great patio on the roof with -again- stunning views of the sea and the mountains of Morocco. We surely recommend this place.

Exclusively perfect stay. One of the best place during my 7 day solo motorbike trip through Southeast Spain. The staff meeting at arrival was welcoming, the location is stunning, opening a views to the Northern Africa coast, Gibraltar... The dinner nicely served, (it not a cheapest to pay). Included breakfast choice is great, nicely presented. Would recommend to everyone traveling South of Spain to consider spending at least one night in such a nice place.

Gibraltar on your left and African Atlas mountains in front of you ..breathtaking view. Juan and his son Ramon are exceptionally welcoming, they couldn't do enough for the guests- offering coffees on the house on arrival, beer in the evening , beach towels ..you name it. Good sized rooms , immaculately clean . Breakfast has good variety of food and very tasty. Only 40ish minutes drive to Tarifa - southernmost point of the continental Europe. Small car recommended as its off the main path and the road is very narrow and curvy - arriving in daylight would be the best option. Rocky beach on short walk (Juan and Ramon would direct you if you ask ) , one sandy beach that's not accessible by car is 40ish minutes walk ,other car accessible one is 20ish minutes drive. Amazing location when it comes to Strait of Gibraltar, ferry from Tarifa brings you to straight to Tangier, Morocco , in an hour or so , I'm planning longer visit for next time definitely. You can hear everything from room to room ,even coughing, so just to be mindful of that and keep noise levels down. Unfortunately, pool was closed when I arrived because they were refilling it. I wouldn't take any of this as some big downside, it's just the way it is.

We rate this in the top 5 views of any hotel we have ever stayed in, and we have been traveling as adults for over 40 years. Amazing view of the Rock of Gibraltar from the breakfast room, rooftop patio and outdoor lounge area. Gorgeous! Wonderful staff too - I misunderstood the limited check in time and someone waited over 6 hours to let us in. That is service beyond compare. Beds were comfy, the whole place is spotless, and we plan to return next year in summer.

We loved everything. Be aware it is off the beaten path, lots of hills to navigate, so kind of tricky to drive to at night. You should try to come during daylight at least the first time.

Ideal location for my travel plan and the specific needs of a hobby I have, cool and super-friendly hosts, excellent service, breathtaking view (also of Gibraltar and Morocco), safe private parking and definitely a comfortable room! Woke up early to enjoy the sunrise with the Morocco coast in the background and, after breakfast, I enjoyed my coffee at the huge terrace-someone can choose also the pool! I am going back for sure and for more days.

Perfect views. Stunning! The manager was extremely friendly and helpful, and our room was on the top floor and was extremely large. Our patio deck was massive in European terms and the view from every window was absolutely gorgeous!!!!! This is definitely a hidden gem.

Nothing we didn’t love!

We arrived late in the day after a long bike ride through the hills along the coast. I had accidentally booked a small room, but the manager suspected that was an error so he had also reserved a better room for us just in case we wanted to switch. And we were glad we did. The view out the french doors onto the balcony looked directly out across the strait to the dramatic landscapes of Morocco on one side and Gibraltar on the other. It would be hard to get a better view. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spotless and the shower wonderful after a long day on bikes. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was as good as the view. The tuna tartare was especially good and we got to enjoy it while sitting on the terrace under an awning while watching lightning play across the mountains in the distance. Our waiter was delightful and really seemed to enjoy being there and sharing suggestions with us.

The breakfast was good but would have been better with fresh sliced tomatoes available on more occasions. For someone who has suffered from Heart Failure for 20 odd years the compactness of the building and pool areas was a blessing.

Access to the seafront without being a experienced mountaineer would have been nice start but you can’t have everything. The pool sunbeds were rather uncomfortable for me, the addition of waterproof matresses would be a significant improvement. It was disappointing that the room did not have a small refrigerator.
