I had concerns about the location so close to the road and the train station. However, the windows are able to keep the sound outside to a minimum. The staff kept me up to date with information about the town via the app, so it was reassuring to know I could just send them a message. When I was leaving I was able to message to request to leave my luggage at the hotel for a few hours.

The day before I did not receive a message to inform me of what room I would be in. I had access to the hotel, but did not know what room to go to. However, I was able to message in the app and someone came shortly after to help me.

The property was a treasure. It’s been a hotel since 1920 and restored to a very high standard although the rooms were bijou, you had everything that you needed and the owner Victoria happily offered the use of the solarium for morning coffee or evening drinks and Vita was there to take care of you and went above and beyond to ensure your stay was as pleasant and comfortable that it could be

All of it

The property is a beautiful old building high ceilings, they have done a beautiful renovation. Location one minute to the beach well there’s lots and lots of restaurants. The property is really really really clean and the staff and cleaning lady were really friendly and helpful

The only thing that we would’ve liked to have had was somewhere outside to sit

The location was great. You could have come by train and been within your hotel room within a couple of minutes. The one member of staff was helpful, trying to get the TV working bilingually.

They are trying to run a hotel with one shift member most of the time. At breakfast this was a disaster. There was one member of staff running the cafeteria, which doubles as the railway station bar. If a rail passenger arrived, they would get served first. Each day often it took about an hour to an hour and a half between ordering breakfast and receiving it. This ate into our site-seeing plans every day we were there. Come on, there are thousands of unemployed in Spain, employ some of them.

fascinating historic building and location . original tiled floor and clever use of railway fittings . easy access to both beach and old town . lovely roof terrace ! fabulous breakfast on the railway platform , very cool ! fresh orange juice , fab coffe , tostadas !! 🙏🏻

there was nothing we didn’t like . as it is next to a railway , some people may not like it !Also , the bar and kitchen close at 4 pm so ,be mindful about that !!

The place is absolutely beautiful. Great decoration and art. We loved the fact that it was a converted railway station, it gave it so much charm and looked very authentic. The place has a small rooftop with comfy seats which is perfect for a night drink with a view. It is nicely situated: 5min walk to the beach and 10min to the top of the hill village. Room was small but it didn't bother us as the ceiling was very high which give it a spacious feeling. It was very quiet in the room, despite the fact it's situated right in between a main road and the train station. The included breakfast was very good and fresh - lots of options such as tostadas, fruit/yogurt/muesli bowls and croisants. Would definitely recommend it.

No one was there when we arrived for check-in. We had to call and were told to help ourselves with the room key behind the desk. The place wasn't staffed as they have other places, but they were really easy to reach over the phone. It felt more like an Airbnb/B&B rather than Hotel.

I liked EVERYTHING. It is a beautifully restored hotel, with the floor tile preserved. Very beautiful. You feel apart of history. Alex, who manages the hotel is very personable. I was traveling solo and I felt well taken care of, like family. The rooms are nicely decorated. Alex and his wife and the entire staff are very professional, friendly and full of good suggestions. I highly recommend the Breakfast and Lunch. Muy Fantastico. The art work is by local artists and students. I was not there on a Friday evening, but they have models who pose for students and guests to paint. sound fun to me. The location is close to the beach and central Plaza.
