Altea House is a cozy haven; an upmarket hostal in the centre of Altea, offering a truly delightful and luxurious stay. The perfect combination of comfort, style, and convenience, the rooms are equipped with a/c, WiFi, large TV, coffee making facilities and a handy mini-fridge. A plush double-sized bed with crisp white linens gave me an incredibly restful night's sleep and a tantalizing glimpse of the sea! The walk-in rainfall shower, a selection of high-quality toiletries and plenty of fluffy white towels add a touch of luxury. The owner's meticulous attention to detail ensured a sparklingly clean and hygienic environment, making me feel safe and secure as a solo traveler. Situated below Old Town and opposite the sea front, the location is convenient and scenic. They were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and helpful, making my experience even more positive. I cannot wait to return to Altea House and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

It was perfect.

Perfect location over the road from the beach front and promenade where all the lovely bars and restaurants are situated. If u turn left straight outside the property up the cobbled street it takes you straight up into the old town (village) which is absolutely stunning with lots of restaurants and bars and of course the beautiful church. You can also walk into the town centre which is only a couple of minutes where there is plenty of shops. Car park was just up the road behind the train station where you can park for free. We loved Altea last year when we visited for a couple of night so wanted to stop off again, we were so happy with this property we stayed an extra night.

The location was perfect! Straight over the road for the beach and lots of great and reasonably priced restaurants on the door step. Also great for exploring Altea and old town was beautiful. The room was spacious and immaculate. Lots of useful extras in the room with the iron and ironing board as well as the small fridge. Great A/C Too!

The only thing, if there was anything was that my room was on the ground floor so traffic, at times could be heard. But by late evening that had died down and soon blurred in to the background.

I appreciated getting the check-in information from the staff ahead of time; the information they provided was thorough, and they even told us where to park in town free of charge. I just loved the building and our room especially, particularly the little patio/roof deck that was part of our accommodations. Everything was really pretty!

The shower was not great -- hard to keep it from spilling over into the bathroom, and no squeegee available to help with that. It also seemed that the hot water ran out pretty quickly, which is probably not a concern for most times of the year, but we were visiting in early January :-)

It is a vey well done hostal. I liked vey much the decoration. The location is great as you are a cross from the beach, on a second line front beach. It is very close to the plaza De la Iglesia, center of the top village of Altea.

The space looks bigger in the photos and the rooms are pretty small but ok for a day or two days maximum. Tall people would be uncomfortable there. Ceilings are not hight enough. The bathroom needs a handle for the hand towel. But above all, I will return.

Check in procedure was very straightforward. Room was clean and the terrace was a bonus. Location was perfect for going to the beach or old town and very close to the train station. We came from Alicante so found it convenient. Also liked the use of sustainable products in the bathroom.

There was a smell from the bathroom, although this is probably something the owners have little control over.

We loved the location near the beach and the old part of the village. Being the low season we had plenty of choice to park our car near the apartment, there is a public parking at the train station. The terrace is small but when the sun shines it offers a lovely spot to relax.

Nothing worth noting, everything met our expectations!

Hostal Altea House was very comfortable. We had a big bed and a small terrace (which was great for morning yoga) It was spotlessly clean. They were very accommodating with allowing us to keep our bags there prior to check in. Very handy to the beach!

Beach towels would have been handy!

Great location for the beach and old town. Super easy check in thanks to everything coming via WhatsApp.

The room was excellent with tea & coffee facilities. The only improvement I would make is something available to hang your beach towels to dry.

Very clean and fresh ; location very close to alrea front perfect for all the bars and restaurants and morning breakfasts

Just a note that location is near the seafront so a little noise from the street and from the morning church bells.
