Altea House is a cozy haven; an upmarket hostal in the centre of Altea, offering a truly delightful and luxurious stay. The perfect combination of comfort, style, and convenience, the rooms are equipped with a/c, WiFi, large TV, coffee making facilities and a handy mini-fridge. A plush double-sized bed with crisp white linens gave me an incredibly restful night's sleep and a tantalizing glimpse of the sea! The walk-in rainfall shower, a selection of high-quality toiletries and plenty of fluffy white towels add a touch of luxury. The owner's meticulous attention to detail ensured a sparklingly clean and hygienic environment, making me feel safe and secure as a solo traveler. Situated below Old Town and opposite the sea front, the location is convenient and scenic. They were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and helpful, making my experience even more positive. I cannot wait to return to Altea House and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

It was perfect.

The location was superb; it was less than 30 seconds to the beachfront! The apartment was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. We were in room 9 which had a large bed and a small terrace. The air con was a life saver.

The shower is under eaves and therefore my husband who is 6”1’ found it a challenge to stand upright. It was still possible to shower, it was just a little awkward. It would not put us off booking the room again.

Perfect location over the road from the beach front and promenade where all the lovely bars and restaurants are situated. If u turn left straight outside the property up the cobbled street it takes you straight up into the old town (village) which is absolutely stunning with lots of restaurants and bars and of course the beautiful church. You can also walk into the town centre which is only a couple of minutes where there is plenty of shops. Car park was just up the road behind the train station where you can park for free. We loved Altea last year when we visited for a couple of night so wanted to stop off again, we were so happy with this property we stayed an extra night.

I had cozy room with terrace on the upper floor. Everything was clean and well-maintained, no complaints. I also had some sea view from my bed that is very nice. The hotel admins notified us about the availability of room on the day of arrival. The room was cooled before our arrival.

Some of the rooms face the road where you could hear some traffic that actually stops during the night. The price is quite high.

The location was perfect! Straight over the road for the beach and lots of great and reasonably priced restaurants on the door step. Also great for exploring Altea and old town was beautiful. The room was spacious and immaculate. Lots of useful extras in the room with the iron and ironing board as well as the small fridge. Great A/C Too!

The only thing, if there was anything was that my room was on the ground floor so traffic, at times could be heard. But by late evening that had died down and soon blurred in to the background.

I appreciated getting the check-in information from the staff ahead of time; the information they provided was thorough, and they even told us where to park in town free of charge. I just loved the building and our room especially, particularly the little patio/roof deck that was part of our accommodations. Everything was really pretty!

The shower was not great -- hard to keep it from spilling over into the bathroom, and no squeegee available to help with that. It also seemed that the hot water ran out pretty quickly, which is probably not a concern for most times of the year, but we were visiting in early January :-)

The location was perfect could not have asked for anything more with location, beach, restuarants, bars and shops only metres away. Bedroom and Bathroom where very spacious.

The bed was a little small and hard, maybe some more hooks to hang wet towels and swim suits, but thats being picky. A bit pricey for what you get but its was peak season in the perfect location

It is a vey well done hostal. I liked vey much the decoration. The location is great as you are a cross from the beach, on a second line front beach. It is very close to the plaza De la Iglesia, center of the top village of Altea.

The space looks bigger in the photos and the rooms are pretty small but ok for a day or two days maximum. Tall people would be uncomfortable there. Ceilings are not hight enough. The bathroom needs a handle for the hand towel. But above all, I will return.

The location was fantastic, we had a view of the sea from our window. Check in was really easy and access was by code. The room was immaculately clean and had a huge comfortable bed. The staff we came across were happy and friendly. A lovely place which I would highly recommend.

Loved this accommodation. Beautiful, clean and the host was very welcoming helpful and friendly. Location perfect for coast, beautiful village and town. Arrived early and room wasn’t ready but was able to drop off luggage so we could start exploring. Would highly recommend.
