My stay at Hotel San Miguel with my daughter was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by warm, caring, and genuinely kind staff who made us feel right at home. The view from our room was absolutely superb—each morning greeted us with breathtaking scenery that made our time there even more special. Every meal we had was a delight; the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was a truly memorable experience that blended comfort, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. We are looking forward to come back with the whole family. The beach in front of the hotel is simply amazing—a true dream place. With blue sky waters stretching out before you, it’s the perfect spot for a refreshing swim, especially in the early morning when the sun rises and casts a golden glow over the sea. It's a peaceful, beautiful haven that makes each day feel special.

The best room is 406, which is on the top (4th) floor. It is the only one of three on that floor with both an excellent sea view and a balcony( big enough for two chairs and a table). The others at the front of the hotel don't have a balcony. There is a similar layout on the second and third floors. The air con was adequate, the bathroom a bit tired but fine. Simple fixtures and fittings, but for the price charged you can't expect the Four Seasons. Location is right on the sea front and restaurant strip. There is free street parking and you can often find a spot near the hotel except at peak evening times.

The only bad thing is the odd decisión by the management to use plastic mattress covers which had us waking up in a pool of sweat. I doubt the owners would be ready to sleep on them.The second night we removed them and slept well - the plastic-free mattress were comfortable. Without that issue I would have ranked the San Miguel even higher than I did.

Lovely large room with big balcony and beautiful sea view. Large bathroom with excellent shower. Very clean. Excellent location. We had a good evening meal in the restaurant. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff very friendly.

Nothing really but tea & coffee making facility in the room would be nice. There are public parking spaces opposite the hotel but as it was a Saturday none were available. We parked in the train station car park . It was full but managed to find a space there. It’s only about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and free.In high season/ weekends parking will be difficult.

Very authentic Spanish experience. Excellent location with all amenities near by (trains, direct bus to airport, shops, supermarket, beach, bars/cafes). Exceptionally clean room with fresh towels daily. Good supplies of shower gel/shampoo/toilet roll. Restaurant is loved by locals and good value. Highly recommend breakfast- quality toasts, coffee, juice etc Friendly staff who kindly helped book a taxi to the airport for our early morning departure. Would definitely return here.

It was nice that hotel was not big (no tiny either), corporation owned, but still family ran business which made this stay more personal. We really liked this family - both wife and husband, they were really sincere to guests. Besides we liked restaurant on ground floor of the hotel - would like to dine there more, but made it just once, because it is closed 1 day per week. And the view - turquise blue water and beach view - just awesome, could watch this for hours.

It was a nice hotel, with a comfy room overlooking a busy street. Had to keep the window shut because of the traffic, but that didn't bother me much. I went out a lot. I wish I'd had a meal in the restaurant, because it was busy with lots of Spanish people, so I imagine it was pretty good. The old town is beautiful, full of narrow, charming streets and old houses. And it's just across the road from the hotel.

They were digging up the road at the front outside, with a huge machine facing the terrace, but that's not the hotel's fault. I'm sure they've finished the work already, and the location otherwise was great. Right on the beach, so perfect for nipping out for a swim. If you can get a room with a balcony facing the sea, so much the better (as long as the digger is gone).

We didn't have breakfast in hotel as it wasn't included. Room could of done with a bit more furniture, ie mirror in bedroom, drawers etc. No kettle to make coffee/ tea. This would of made the room exceptional. Just little touches like that. Apart from that, room was very big and bed really comfortable. We had large balcony, overlooking the sea which was brilliant. Everything was very clean in room and bathroom, although when we walked into reception which was the restaurant we thought it was a bit basic. Very Spanish.

Friendly even though they couldn't speak English,but then this us Spain. A great spot right on beachfront nice Spanish food in restaurant always full with locals.Basic hotel but clean with air conditioning that works

We had to walk quite a way as no parking,always full on road outside so bit of a hike with luggage.But apart from that nothing not to like.Its not advertised as 5star so don't expect that but it is much better than 1star as stated in advertised on booking. Com

We were only there for one night. I booked two beds, were given one, and was quickly resolved without question. We had a full view of the beach, were able to sleep w/ balcony door open. Room was clean, no "plush" upgraded amenities but all the basics were there and fine for this stay.

Really everything was fine. We weren't given specific information about parking, and entering the hotel from the beach side and not the street side, but was fine. There was construction going on, never pleased about that, but it is the off season and I'm sure their preparing for their upcoming season . . . has to get done some time! :)

There was no breakfast included but I was able to pay for some orange juice, coffee and toast with serano ham, crushed tomatoes or just jam which suited me just fine. The restaurant itself was busy a lot of Spanish eating there which is always a good sign !! It’s all about the location with this little hotel as it’s very simple but the view is second to none it is absolutely gorgeous plus you are right there in the heart of everything. I will definately be back a 💯 before the year is out x
