I really enjoyed the accessibility to the city. The breakfast was amazing and staff is very friendly.

I did not like the fact that air conditioning is turned off at 11pm during the hot summer. I would have paid extra for air conditioning all night. That’s why I rated the stay 9 out of 10.

The room was spacious and super clean. The location is great and the hotel entrance is situated on a well lit and secure spot. Hotel staff leaves clean towels and toilet paper outside your door if you have the do not disturb sign on, which was a nice touch!

The room window was facing to an air shaft with basicallt no natural light coming in which wasn't pleasant, and wouldn't have expected this from the price of the room. The window was also locked and could not open it, making the room feel a bit claustrophobic at times. The bathroom ventilation was a bit too noisy, as well as the plumbing (you could hear the flushing from other rooms and a strange noise while the water tank was filling up). Also, there's not much flexibility with early check in/late check out.

I recently stayed at the Acta Splendid hotel in Barcelona and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic, offering easy access to various attractions around the city. What stood out most was the tranquility of the place; despite its central location, the hotel was very quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, providing a comfortable and hygienic environment. But the highlight of my stay was the remarkable staff. The reception staff was not only friendly but also exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The restaurant staff, especially, deserves a special mention. The ladies there were extraordinarily dedicated and focused on providing the best service possible. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence was evident. During breakfast, the variety of food available was impressive. No matter if I arrived early in the morning or for a late breakfast, there was always a wide selection to choose from. This level of motivated and attentive staff is what elevates a hotel experience from good to great. I sincerely wish more hotels would have staff as dedicated as those at Acta Splendid, as it truly makes for a high-level hotel experience. Highly recommended!

• 3 minute walk from the Airport shuttle bus stop at Universitat. The return stop was about a 7 min walk. • Excellent breakfast with many options (little bit pricey though) • Easy access to main attractions and city • Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room • Safe in the room • Friendly staff, thank you Issac • Bed was comfortable • Decent bathroom and the water Pressure/hot water all good One of the best things about this hotel is the breakfast. It is not the cheapest you get in a similar hotel, but I highly recommend it due to the sheer variety of options and the service. They have a lounge/waiting area with comfortable seating on the first floor, with soft music and some books.. Free lockers are provided to store your luggage, and the bottom cabinets are big enough to accommodate a fairly large suitcase. There is also a shower room with towels to use in this area. All very useful if you want to spend some time in the hotel following the checkout and/or leave your luggage there and enjoy the city a bit more. Fair price for a 3 * hotel.

Unfortunately, the noise from the busy street outside can be heard until around mid-night. For me personally it wasn't a big issue, but please bear this in mind if you are an early to bed person who needs absolute quietness.

The location is right next to metro and bus stops, and 5-10minutes walk to Plaça de Catalunya from where you can take the shuttle bus to the airport and shop at Corte Ingles. The hotel is clean, bed is comfy, they offer dush gel/shampoo/conditioner/body lotion in the bathroom. Useful tip: don't use the small supermarkets around unless it's for a quick drink, since they are severely overpriced :) Better go to the regular supermarket of Corte Ingles.

I did not see a refrigerator in the room, and I couldn't open the windows to get a few nasty flies out of the room, but otherwise it's a 10 out of 10.

Close to metro and Bus lines. You can get to metro "Universidad" in 4 minutes. Bus stop is 80m away from the main entrance. Safe neighbourhood with restaurants and shops at short distance. Helpful, attentive and respectful staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. We were given a nice quiet room. Breakfast was good. It included fresh fruits, vegetables, good coffee, eggs, freshly baked products, cereals and many other things. The decoration is very well thought giving a unique atmosphere that allows you to relax after a busy day visiting Barcelona.

Acts Splendid hotel it’s central close a wonderful bar “Central Bar” where you can have great egg tortillas sandwiches, olives, vermut etc. The soundings are great. The price average but Paris was cheaper . Doesn’t have a closet for your clothes just a place to hang them. Staff it’s nice. Nice jewelry at the reception for a gift or for you. Location it’s great, walking distance to las Ramblas, Plaza Cataluya, Paseo de Gràcia (many modernist buildings) . Great place.

Has no closet. I like my clothes in a close place. And the fact that the price was different than offer. Also I book with 2 beds just gave me one queen. But I didn’t complain was my last day.

The hotel is a little juwel in the heart of Barcelona: close to all the most famous attractions, easy to reach, offering an incredible coziness and privacy. All the rooms are spacious, very clean, insonorized, elegant, set up in every minimal detail. You will enjoy one of the most comfortable bed ever with mattress adapting to your body, soft blankets smelling of clean, and very spacious. A/C can be regulated according to your exigencies and it's very silent so that you can sleep at own suitable temperature without any bothering noise. The bathroom is a pleasure for the eyes, and the offered products are from Rituals brand, representing an excellence for person's care. The shower is simply amazing: you can choose between the shower-head installed on the ceiling and the mobile one. The water jet gives an enjoyable massage to your body which entices to indulge under it for a longer time, just to prolong the pleasure and the sense of relaxation. The courtesy products are also very well accustomed: you will find a bottle of water, Nespresso krups, Nespresso coffee machine, toilet own care products, and other little attentions which please the customer. In case you arrive before the check-in time, the hotel hosts you in an elegant lounge with courtesy facilities given to your usage while you wait for the room. You will find overcomfortable couches, armchairs, toilet, shower, locker room with many closets with combination-lock to safely store your luggages while you wait. It was a great pleasure to stay there. Absolutely advised to all the kind of customers (families, couples, friends, singles)

There was probably an involuntary forgetfulness in the bathroom: the WC wasn't provided with the usual cleaning brush, but I can bet that it was - as said - just an involuntary forgetfulness.

The location is walking distance to all the main attractions, yet not in a noisy area. The room is just large enough to fit our beds and a small table, but that was expected and reasonable. The housekeeping staff is very thoughtful and they go the extra mile. For example, we left the DND tag one day and they made sure to leave extra towels in front of the door just in case. We felt safe as the reception desk controls who can enter the locked premises at night.

The usage of A/C requires a trip to the reception desk. If their opinion is that A/C can be used weighing in the outside temperature, they might turn it on. Outside the hotel is a hotspot for food delivery people who hang out, listen to music, play cards, talk. Not too loud and I know the hotel can't do anything about it, but it's worth noting that they are audible.

Great location, lovely and spacious room, large bed. Very nice toiletries and good towels in the bathroom. Large TV.

The heating system didn't work correctly during our stay, we asked for an additional blanket and that solved the issue for us.
