Hotel: gorgeous boutique hotel design, a nice luxurious feel to it, I would like to add the hotel and overall our room smelled so nice - a very nice natural, botanical scent. Reception: Very helpful receptionists, they immediately gave us good recommendations on restaurants as well as sight seeing and exhibitions. A big plus is that through them you can book anything from hop on and hop off to, Casa Batllo exhibition - anything you can think of they can book it for you. It really does save a lot of time. Room: very clean, we really enjoyed the design as well as the small balcony with the street view. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the cleaning service was great. Location: fantastic - everything was walking distance, La Rambla, Barceloneta Beach, Casa Batllo, Placa de Catalunya (where you can get on the hop on, hop off ). The hotel was located near a very nice Breakfast places, I really recommend The Coffee House Barcelona! Regarding dining we had very nice walks to - I am not sure what the area is called but the location of El Nacional restaurant (this area in particular has very nice restaurants).

Good location Reception staff excellent but was very busy as she was the only one working. She kindly reserved cabs and dinner reservations. But when she was helping us, other guests waited. Breakfast was nice

No doorman to assist with luggage— seems like a 4 star would have ancillary staff —if you’re older and can’t manage luggage without help, this is not your hotel Furniture in room stained Hair dryer cord too short to see mirror while using Requested room with patio not offered

Hello, I stayed at Casa Elliot for 5 nights. First of all, I must say that I liked the hotel very much. Sometimes on Booking, hotels can look different from the photos, but this hotel was exactly as it seemed. It also had a cute little balcony overlooking the street. Cleanliness, staff, security... Everything was great. It’s also a very safe place to stay even if you’re traveling alone, which made me feel really comfortable. The hygiene and attention to detail were truly impressive as well. The street it is located on is also very busy and within walking distance to many places. You can reach what you want even late at night. I will stay here again on my next visit. for a city as big as Barcelona, it was quite a quiet area. our bedroom had a street facing balcony which was lovely. the bed was large and very comfortable. breakfast had lots and lots of choices. fresh fruit, yogurts, drinks, cold and hot meat and cheese. we were given gluten free bread, crackers type bread and cookies the first morning. breakfast was 0800 to 1100 which was great for a lie in. shower very powerful and facilities very clean. fridge in the room and kettle with tea bags and coffee sachets.

we didn't get anything gluten free the second morning, other than that, it was perfect.

I was travelling alone for work and the Casa Elliot was a perfect location for my one night stay - the room was clean and the area safe - it is located very close to the Aerobus bus stop so that made my arrival very simple. I requested a quiet room and the facility obliged. Before my arrival the hotel provided me with information on how to get to the hotel using the Aerobus, which stop to get off at and how far the hotel was from there by walking (5 minutes). I had breakfast the following morning and I found the options for the continental breakfast perfect. It's self serve - the coffee was good (hot milk for the coffee was provided), the fruit and juices were fresh and there were many options for both vegetarians and people who prefer to have eggs in the morning. The location was close to my meeting ,so I was able to walk to is. The staff was friendly and helpful, pointing out to me where to catch the Aero Bus when it was time to return. As a single woman traveller its important for me to feel safe and also able to get around by foot and the Casa Elliot helped to make that possible for me. I would stay there again.

A lovely, boutique hotel, located in the University district. Attentive, friendly staff. It's about a 20-30 minute walk down to the old district and the harbour, but it's a lovely city to walk around. Our favourite place, just round the corner was Flax & Kale - delicious, very healthy food, with good wines. Our room looked out over the back of other apartments but that didn't really bother us as we were out all the time, some of the rooms had tiny juliet balconies out over the street. Breakfast was great, coffee good but a milk frother would have made it perfect!

Might have wished we were a bit closer to the Gothic district but it made us walk and that's not a bad thing - except when it is bucketing down with rain!

Location was close to shopping and to the metro/subway. The room was well kept, not overly large, but decent. My only complaint is our last night there we set alarms to wake at 7:00 a.m. But there was a short in our lighting system and all the bedroom lights flashed at 5:00 a.m. . . . it went on and off a couple times waking us. Staff couldn't explain it and there and just kind of shrugged it off. No mention of any compensation. We were flying out, and a couple hours extra sleep would have helped. But we liked the hotel.

Great little boutique hotel in a great location. Beautiful rooms, albeit small but perfect for me.

The biggest downside was the terrible wifi. I'm in Barcelona fairly often and as much as I loved the hotel I would not stay here again for this one reason.

Our room had a little private patio which was nice for sitting out in the evening. Room was a good size. It was difficult to control the air conditioning but it did keep the room cool. Only a few blocks from the subway and that made it easy to access the whole city. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Being a smaller hotel, they really got to know their guests.

When we arrived, we found that the patio door to our room would not lock. It did take a few hours to get that sorted but they eventually did get it repaired. That was really the only downside to our stay.
