I recently stayed at this 2-star hotel and it truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were absolutely wonderful – always helpful, kind, and welcoming. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the metro and other public transport, which made exploring the city very convenient. The hotel was spotless and offered a peaceful environment, perfect for relaxing after a busy day in Barcelona. The only small downside is that breakfast is not provided. However, there is a cozy corner with coffee, tea, water, and a vending machine with snacks, which was a nice touch. Overall, I was more than satisfied with my stay and will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Barcelona.

The hostel is more like a hotel in its facilities. Place is exceptionally clean and tidy. Bedsheets , towels etc crisp and clean. Air conditioned. Sufficient sockets. Receptionist ( forgot name ) on the first day was very helpful. Gave tips for travel and commuting. Map with even the bus route numbers were given. Drinking water available in the lounge. Lift available. Location is well connected for accessibility to tourist areas and airport. Luggage storage after check out available. Reception is manned 24/7. Daily room service. Well worth the price.

Though there were no incidents, once it gets dark, the neighborhood seems a bit isolated.

My mother and I stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, with everything easily reachable by foot. There are plenty of cafes and small markets nearby, and the area is quiet and feels very safe. Our room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The receptionists were extremely friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also really appreciated the luggage locker service, which allowed us to leave our bags and return later. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is near metro stations about minutes walk It is near a aerobus station that transfers people to the airport which cost 7 euros could be purchased on site. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel will provide a kettle with 5 euros deposit. No coffee machine but the kettle was sufficient for making tea and dissolvable coffee. Our first room 203 was quiet. We didn't hear any traffic noise. Our second room in 101, we can hear traffic noise but can be muffled with ear plugs. The cost of our stay was reasonable. Overall we were content with our stay and will pick it again. It

Not my first time booking here, I like the area, walking distance to Plaça Catalunya, close to the Metro, good restaurants nearby, good prices if you get a Genius offer ;) There is daily cleaning, 24h front desk and seems like a safe place. It was a silent room because it wasn’t faced to the big street. The guys from the reception are really nice and they speak various languages.

We received a room on the ground floor with a little terrace but it had a lot of humidity and the AC is kind of old, we were afraid to turn it on. Thin walls.

The facilities were great - clean, comfortable, and close to lots of stores, shops, restaurants, etc. And the staff - wow! Antoni and Tarik were absolutely delightful! I so enjoyed interacting with them daily. They were so friendly and helpful, always smiling and genuinely happy to see us. I was a little disappointed that neither were working the day I left. I so wanted to tell them how much that meant to me, and to say goodbye. Please tell them that Susan Mary from room 0003 said thank you for making my stay extra special!!

Hostal Centric is located in the heart of the city, making it very convenient with major tourist attractions and shopping areas within walking distance. There are several metro stations nearby, allowing for smooth and easy transportation around the city. Additionally, the airport shuttle bus stop is close to the hotel, providing excellent access to and from the airport. The excellent location and convenient transportation options make this hotel highly recommended for both sightseeing and business stays.

Location was perfect, 10-20 minutes walk to main tourist places. Staff was super helpful and gave us some recommendation we needed. Room was normal size for 2 person.

There was no kettle and glasses in the room (but it was in the lob and you could prepare it down and take it to your room). There was not slippers in the room as well, but we asked them to reception and they provided it so no problem. Cleaning was not the best, if we left the cup on the table it was not cleaned and thrown away.

We loved everything from the cleanliness of the rooms and the way they are decorated, to the location and the neighbourhood and the closeness to Metro stations (only a 3 minute walk). Plaça de Catalunya is only a 10 minute walk away. Our highlight of the trip and our stay were definitely the employees, specifically front desk workers, they were really attentive, tried to fulfil our every wish, provided all the informations we needed and we had a few really nice chats with them; Leo and Antonio specifically, thank you for everything!

We really don't have any complaints regarding our stay, maybe the only thing that people should keep in mind is that the location is in a really busy neighbourhood but with the windows closed there really isn't any outside noise.

The best thing about Hostal Cèntric was the reception staff. Antonio was so friendly and gave us lots of useful information. Thank you Antonio! :) Our room was clean, bed comfortable. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend vegan, gf-free and lactose-free restaurant called Potstot. Also a Mexican bar just on the corner called Piñata.

The decoration of the room could do with some improvement. A picture on a wall perhaps.
