I came with a friend of mine and the experience was truly amazing. The atmosphere is so great, you can see they put a lot of thought in the decorations, making sure you enjoy your visit. There's a bar that serves great drinks, breakfast and food throughout the day. The common area has an 8-ball pool table, other games and a kitchen if you feel like cooking. The staff were incredibly helpful, we checked in at 3 AM, completely exhausted and starving and they even helped us order takeaway. The rooms were great - really tidy, with a shower, which you share only with your roomates and every person got their own locker for their stuff. Plus the location is perfect, right in the city center. The balcony had such a nice view, perfect for enjoying a coffee and just chilling. Everything was top-notch, truly an amazing experience. Definitely coming back!

I really can't think of something I didn't like, it was our first time in Barcelona and I'm so happy we chose this place to stay at.

The bed was so comfortable! Great temperature, nice and cool. Great kitchen. Loved the washer and dryer. Good water tempt. Nice music. Nice elevator for those who needed it.

There seemed to be mold in the edges of the shower. The lights would turn off while going to the bathroom. The lights in the room, couldn't be turned on and off. We had to wait for them to time out to turn off and had to repetitively get up is needed to be on.

The location is great, close to tourist sites and the subway. The hostel is clean and organized. The staff are helpful and friendly, for example Sophia helped me a lot.

The bed is noisy. I had problems with my locker, which wasn't working, but Sophia helped me with another locker. This problem happens. But there is a lack of communication between the staff. I was in bed 7 and Sophia gave me locker 8 because of the problem with the locker in bed 7, but an uninformed employee came and said that I had the wrong locker, I had to explain the situation to him, I didn't like that part.

The place was in the center of Barcelona near plaza Catalunya!! It had stores and super market nearby so you can find anything you want! The stuff was very helpful and gave us tips for everything we wanted! It is a very nice and affordable solution for someone who wants to explore the city by walking! There is bus stop outside of the hostel so the public transportation is also available. It was amazing!!

The shower had a system for water that was a little confusing. The room is very small so for someone with a lot of luggage, it might be a problem.

The location is good. You get value for the price you pay. Bedsheets were clean, had private locker and space for clothes. Every bed had charger and light.

We stayed in a room for girls only, with 6 beds. It was a bit too loud in the room as the window wasn't closed tighly. That is also why it was cold as the weather was cold in March and the heating was'n t enough.

We got a private room with 2 bunk beds for 4 people with private bathroom. Overall was all good, hostel has a lift, room has power outlet and night lamp next to each bed. Hostel has a bar with very good prices and it’s very close to metro and city centre

Pillow was extremely thin. Bed sheets were smelly. Bathroom had no mat on the floor, which resulted in a very slippery and wet floor.

I am Solo traveller and I stay in 4 bed dom as per me, the hostel is near to PI Great location we can walk all the attraction places or buy one day pass to use all the metro transport, Why, the hostel is near to Bus stop(1min) and 2mins from Urgell subway station. So it makes me more comfort to travel around Barcelona day and night moreover its good value for the money, convenient and daily cleaned.

Hence, the Hostel is near to main road, you will hear all type of sound(its acceptable for this price)

The best thing about this place is definitely the location! 5 min by foot from Plaça de Catalunya, which also the place where you can get the aerobus back to the airport! Facilities all around, 24/7 supermarkets at 50m distance and Aldi at 4min. You can easily visit most of attraction by foot and enjoy the city. Very friendly people at the check-in and possibility to store your luggage after check-out for a very small price (6€ for 12h). Room was nice and bed sheets were clean. Wifi was also very well functional.

Even though I was in a mixed dormitory I was the only girl in my room. I was - indeed - aware that this was a possibility when I booked the room, it still made me feel at times uncomfortable. Also another thing that was slighlty unnoying is that the bathroom in the room has a window on the top part of the door. You can surely do not see anything so privacy wise is not a problem, however in the night when the light is the bathroom is on, the whole room can see it and that is not best..

I only spent one night at the Urbany Hostel but had a good time. It has comfortable beds, and enough space to organise your things, good technology that makes everything easier, especially when you check in at night and are tired after a long journey. The staff working there are friendly and helpful. It is close to the centre but at the same time it is on the way to Camp Nou, a half hour walk, and I could finally go there. Some time before I had booked a hostel very close to the stadium just to visit it, attracted by the cube beds and the white curtains, but from the pictures I had seen I didn't realise how low the ceiling was, I almost touched it with my hand, and I'm not tall. The result was that I slept very badly and woke up feeling sick, really couldn't breathe, I had to give up my programme. On top of that everything was in a poor state of repair. I don't know how such accommodations can stay open today. Who knows how many people like me remain dissatisfied, they just make money when there are good matches and people want to stay in nearby hostels.
