Very clean. Nice staff. Good communication. Having own bathroom in a hostal is the best! Good cafe con leche. Breakfast included but also a great breakfast place next door. Wasn’t there long enough to take advantage of the balconies. 10 min walk to the boqueria market. Elevator is available.

As a solo traveler the street at night was a little sketchy. I did not walk back there at night, only taxi. Felt very safe inside the building though. AC is not included in the room but good ceiling fan.

Happy with everything with the hotel. In a great location. Nice and clean and the breakfast staff member was very accomdating and friendly. Really good value for money and I'd recommend it to anyone. The only drawbacks were that on one evening the room nearby was very loud through the night. No fault of the hotel. The only downside I had was I struggled a bit with the rules and communication beforehand and was a bit unsure of the €100 euro deposit. Was a bit worried that I wouldn't get it back but it was fine and I'm sure most people would be fine with it. Thanks for a trip to remember!

Great location and comfortable room. Delicious coffee and breakfast. Very helpful staff. It is great that they care about the environment and run the hostal in an environmentally-friendly way. It is a bonus that there is a shared kitchen and beautiful terrace.

There was a bit of confusion about what was considered an out of hours arrival time. Email said after 9pm would need special arrangement to check-in, but actually the cafe/office closes at 7pm! So we had to rush there to check-in and get keys after they called us.

- Very friendly staff. :) - Close (walking distance) to many sightseeing spots, also, as the metro and loads of buses (incl. the Aerobus) was just a few steps away, farther things were also easily accessible. - The breakfast room opened to two silent balconies and our toddler loved going out there while having breakfast.

- Our room opened to a loud main street, which made it difficult to let fresh air in. With the ceiling fan it was livable though.

The location is perfect - just 2 minutes from a metro station where you can travel all around Barcelona. The room itself was not a high standard/ top shelf, but it was enough and had everything one can need for a stay (lots of storage space, coffee machine, hair dryer, ceiling fan and AC, even a private fridge). I was looking for something cheap with a good location and I admit I am satisfied with my choice. Very good price-quality ratio. I also enjoyed the breakfast, it was always fresh and tasty. Hostal personnel was very nice and helpful too.

The bed was huge and comfy, with a firm mattress. The staff was friendly, and the receptionist spoke English. The lady who served breakfast spoke Spanish, French, and a little English, but it was enough to get the right food and drinks. Everything was super clean and nice. Location is extra, there is metro station next to it and you can walk to the most of the tourist places. Breakfast was really tasty, toasts, croissants, cereals, fruits, juices, coffe and other to choose from. It is made for you and served to the table. There was enough of food, but please note that we always came at the beginning.

The minus is that the window in the room with private bedroom is very small and goes out to the other walls of the building, so there is no natural light in the room. But it didn't bothered us since we spend most of the time exploring city. Towels cost extra 2 euro per person.

Staff were very nice, I arrived toward the end of breakfast a couple days and they replenished some of the supplies that were out. Nice location right by a metro stop. Good breakfast, hearty.

Bed wasn’t super comfortable, and it’s definitely cramped in the room. Not too much to complain about - it’s a budget hostel and you get what you pay for, this would be great for a couple days while you explore the city and just need a place to sleep

The breakfast was great, very simple but at the same time very tasty. They had pastry, cheese and ham for sandwiches, three types of natural juice, free coffee machine in the kitchen, also in the room.

I cant say i didnt like something, but i think the only little problem is with the private but external room bathroom. But its ok they let you know this before you make the reservation. They also have rooms with the bathroom inside.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, even when booking.com messed up the booking, the staff were very gracious and understanding. The property itself was what it says. there are no frills in it but is absolutely ideal to have as a base to your Barcelona adventure and had the added 'community' part that old residents left behind things they did not need (like suncream, deoderant, shampoo etc) as well as a decently stocked kitchen with basics should you need it. Everything was clean as well. The breakfast was good as well, decent enough variety to get you started for your day.

Not anything really to be honest. If i would write anything here it would be nit picking as we were fully satisfied with our stay. the toilets are a little cramped but thats about all really. and even then they are perfectly managable.

Staff in the hostel is just supercare and professional! Oscar performs like 5 star personel, very helpful during the breakfast and overall. Cleaning lady knows her job also, super clean everyday👌location is great, as well as mantras and pillows! Highly recommend!!!

A little bit of tiny bathroom, but next time I will try to book option with room with inside bathroom for more convenience.
