The hotel was very clean and very calm. I required a late check-in and this was very well organized, it was made very simple for me to arrive in a city I didn't know late at night. The location was perfect, close to many interesting places, close to many restaurants and bars as well. Overall I had a very enjoyable stay at Hostal Balkonis

The only thing that I missed during my stay was a kettle and tea/coffee inside the room. However this was made available at reception so overall not a big problem

One of the largest rooms I have ever booked, King size bed and comfort. Basic facilities with a nice balcony to the central street, Comte d' Urgell.

The bathroom was a bit low quality for the room and it needs renovation, its door opens in a way that blocks someone to go to the toilet so they have to enter in a specific way. Big room but without heating system, a bit cold even for autumn season. Reception was not open all day, only until the afternoon.

lovely hotel. Great patio and cute balcony. Perfect for a little city break away. Room was lovely, great size lots of storage and bathroom facilities were great. Only downfall is the patio gets locked when the receptionist finishes so couldn’t set out in the evening other than that stay!

The location is perfect right next to the subway and the market is right across the road.

We loved the helpful receptionist. She was incredibly kind and happy to help us with bus timetables and breakfast spots. We also loved the location. It was only a few blocks from Casa Botlló and La Rambla de Cataluya

Yhev room was very small and it cost a lot for what it was. The bathroom door stuck and couldn't be opened easily. The room was very dark

Location was good enough food drink to find in the neighberhood and we did walk around 12 minutes to la rambla and verry friendly staff the lady even did give me a call before arriving to ask if we did gett the selfchecking email where she explained verry well how to do it .and was verry friendly and willing to help with what we wanted to know about barcelona and the room was big enough for us and had a balcony and also there was a nice terrace outside for everyone.

The bed was kinda hard for us (but that is a personal thing we can't all like the same thing so it wasn't a big deal.

Great central location just a few steps from the Metra! Check-in person was sweet and informative. Nice shower and bathroom.

Other guests were smoking so much weed in the hotel on multiple occasions in the evening that our room smelled incredibly strong and I think we got contact high.

I absolutely loved this hotel and would come back any time. Location is great, near a Metro station and the area is lively and with lots of cafes, restaurants and the Sant Antoni Market. The young lady at the reception was ace, very informative and lovely. The room was big and very clean, it also had a balcony.

Everything perfect. There is a nice sharing terrace in the hotel so having a small in the fridge in the rooms would be a great adding, but only a suggestion as I loved everything.

Hostal Balkonis is very well located, you can reach most touristic places on foot. If you prefer to use public transport, the metro station is literally around the corner. The airport bus stops very close as well. For the room itself, it was spacious and had everything you need for your stay during a city trip. The building itself has beautiful modernist details outside and inside. The staff was friendly and welcoming, provided an extra heater and kettle upon request. I certainly recommend!

The room was literally in front of the reception desk and there was some occasional noise from the reception and ongoing elevator reparation works. Only on workdays and in decent hours, therefore it didn't really bother us.

Adorable little hostal, perfect for the 5 nights I spent there with my partner. Great location, 1 min walk from a bus stop and 15 minutes from lots of attractions. Had just what we needed in terms of towels and furniture, and the staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Late check in was easy and the reception held our bags for a few hours after we checked out.

The accommodation was better than we expected. The room is spacious and clean, the staff is extremely friendly. The best thing about Balkonis is the location, if you want to walk around Barcelona. Everything is 2 km away, and there is also a metro station and a bus that goes directly to the airport nearby. Any recommendation

Parhaps to put some small refrigerator for the room, thats all.
