The room was very clean and comfortable if a little smaller than expected. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great especially at the end of a busy day. All the team there were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good air con was great as it was really hot during my visit. There were good choices for my vegetarian breakfast and a choice of nice inside or covered courtyard eating areas. The location is pretty central and it’s easy to get to the main areas (La Ramblas is less than a 10 min walk and Placa Catalunya - where a lot of the hop on hop off buses operate from, was about 15 mins), with some interesting buildings along the way. A kettle in the room would have been welcome but my room was very close to the eating area and I could make a drink whenever I wanted to. It was quiet inside and felt like a little sanctuary after a day of sightseeing.

When I first arrived there in the taxi (at about 11pm) I was glad I hadn’t taken the public transport then walking there option as the immediate area seemed a bit rough and I wasn’t sure how safe that would have been, but I walked from there, and back to there, every day and felt fine and I walked and took public transport back to the airport. Not sure if I’d have felt quite the same if it had been dark though. The roof garden is currently a work in progress but it’s still nice to have an outside space option.

Staff was welcoming. The online check-in saved us time, I was able to drop the suitcases before check-in because the reception desk was manned 24 hours. There is an elevator off the 1st floor, which is one level up. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower water got hot and the shower pressure was strong.

Guests are greeted with a flight of stairs that lead up to the reception desk. My son had to carry up the two 40lb suitcases. The room is very small, just enough room to walk around the bed - with only enough room in front of the door to open two suitcases, blocking the exit. Pool wasn’t heated and so was cold. No phone in the room to contact the front desk and we couldn’t get a call off on our cell phones.

The reception and breakfast staff were very accommodating and looked after us well. Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of cooked eggs and fresh juice in addition to fruit, meats, cereals, bread and pastries. Coffee was good and available without charge throughout the day. The beds were comfortable and the shower excellent. The roof had sun beds, tables and deck chairs. The small pool was enough to refresh us and play games with the children. The hotel was in a great location for getting about. The road had lots of international food shops. La boqueria and Las Ramblas were only 5 min walking.

The hotel was very nice, well renovated, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, ours was small but we booked at the last minute. The location may make some people a little nervous or uncomfortable but we did not have any issues. The property itself is well secured and they provide a roof top terrace that was very nice for a late night drink and smoke. We did not have the breakfast as we left early however they offer free coffee/tea to the guests throughout the day.

I had heard that the people of Spain are upset that many properties are being bought up and used for tourists causing a housing shortage and affordability issue so I was trying to book at what would not be deemed as that type of property. Having said that I can not confirm if this establishment is one of those properties but given the location after we arrived that was my first thought.

Great location, decent sized clean basic no frills room which was perfect for us to just use as a base for a sightseeing weekend trip. Staff were friendly, rooftop terrace was lovely for coffee in the mornings, appreciated the pool too even though we didn’t use it. Less than a 2 min walk to metro station which was perfect for getting around. Also appreciated the free tea and coffee in the breakfast room and the smaller terrace next door to it. Would recommend!

No major problems, maybe better breakfast options and it could be a tiny bit noisy at times but I would stay here again for a weekend trip/city break. More suitable for couples/friends/solo rather than families

Both receptionists were very welcoming, kind and helpful. The room and the facilities were perfect for me. I was reassured the area was safe. I went out in the evening for a walk and bought a sim etc. Went to a cafe for a drink and patisserie. Everyone was very friendly. I slept very well there was no noise. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the restaurant even if you did not book breakfast.

The area seemed poor but lots of people around. No trouble at all. There is a lift but you have to climb the first set of stairs. I managed the stairs and I was helped with my luggage by the receptionists.

Location was good. 10 min walk to two different metro lines. Airport bus stopped 12 min walk from hotel so very good transport options. Small roof terrace with plunge pool was a bonus.

Stairs up to reception a bit tricky with big suitcase but reception staff helped with bag. Room very compact. A few more hooks on the wall would have been helpful to hang towels clothes etc.

The place seems like downtown and at first I wasn't sure how safe I'd be as I was on my own, the picture of the outside of hotel that is online is not a true reflection of hotel, but inside is as it is in the photos. Day 2 I noticed it's quite a busy area and well lit up at night - it's like everything becomes alive and vibrant at night. Well positioned for public transport. I think it was a bit overpriced for where and what it is. But again, it was marathon weekend🤷🏽‍♀️

My stay at this hotel in Barcelona was exceptional from the very first day to the last. The hotel was incredibly well-organized and impeccably clean, which made a great impression right away. The location of the hotel was also excellent, providing easy access to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. Their kindness and professionalism made me feel welcome and valued throughout my entire stay. The combination of a beautiful room, a clean environment, and an inviting atmosphere on the terrace created a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona and look forward to returning in the future!

The breakfast was great as well as the servers. They made sure the buffet was replenished. The staff overall was helpful and provided excellent service. The location was not in the best area (according to travel reviews), but it was in walking distance of the old center. It suited us well. The shuttle service was excellent.

The room was very small, but manageable.
