Location super nice , very clean and big enough

We were informed we could enter the apartment at 15hrs. Because we landed early afternoon we already walked around a bit. The appartment was ready at 17:00. When you only have 4days in Barca you want to unpack asap and enjoy the city. Not waiting . Also we had to leave the the appartment at 11:00 at Sunday . But cleaning was knocking at the door at 09:45. For this price I really want to enjoy from 15:00 to 11:00 .

Air con in every room worked very well, balcony, washing machine and stand up dryer, the two bathrooms were handy when you have a teenager who likes to spend a long time getting ready (we stayed in flat 4 on the second floor). There are shops at the bottom of the road just around the corner where you can get your necessities from. The first one just a few blocks away overcharged us on the first day so we didn't go there again but there's plenty more as you turn the corner. The flat is a few minutes walk away from La Rambla. We also found a lovely restaurant on the way called Sabanna with great food and service. If you go to the main road from the flat and turn left, you will come to a square with some restaurants and cafes. Also 5 minutes walk from there we found this amazing Chinese restaurant called Little Foodie that served authentic food and had great friendly service. We didn't need to pick up the keys from a different address which would've been a bit of a pain. They changed to a new system where you receive an electronic key once you download the app and register your phone number. You will have to reset this daily (I believe for security).

Nothing major, just a couple of little things. The TV was left with German subtitles and we tried but couldn't change it to English. We would have liked to be able to use the coffee machine but couldn't find coffee pods in the neighbourhood shops and didn't know where to get them from. Maybe the host could put together a simple information folder and leave out for guests (lots of places we've been to have them). The host is very responsive when you ask something but we didn't want to keep bothering them.

The flat was in a cool location just to the east of the old city, in a non-touristy, multicultural neighbourhood with many small grocery shops, trendy cafes and bars. It is very close to MACBA and the CCCB and within walking distance of most of the things we wanted to see. It is in a characterful old building but modern inside, with a Scandi style decoration. The kitchen had a kettle, toaster and coffee-maker as well as the usual equipment. We loved the high, terracotta ceiling and stripped brick wall. Plenty of space for our family of three.

The online check in process was a little confusing with several steps to go through. I was anxious that we would not get the key, but it was sent to my phone at 3pm on the day of arrival.

check in was over bearing and key pick up procedure was painful as it was a 10 minute taxi ride from the property and added 30 minutes and 30 Euro to the journey. Also had to pay 200 Euro deposit. No of this was in the booking details.

The apartment was clean, modern and well-equipped. I liked the location as it was fairly central to most of the places I wanted to visit. It was a quiet location and there were some nice cafes nearby. Also handy for food shopping. Staff were very helpful.

I did not like the app that you have to use to get into the apartment. It was very stressful because initially it did not work when I tried to enter my phone number to activate the app. The staff were helpful and eventually I got it to work. And in fact it worked fine during my stay. There was also the worry though that it wouldn't work and I wouldn't be able to get in.

Cozy apartment with excellent condition. It is located in Catalunya, the heart of Barcelona, close to convenient shops, restaurants and night life. The apartment is very clean, well maintained, and has a lovely balcony. The staff is responsive. We stayed there for 5 nights and had a great experience! Definitely will choose here when we are back in Barcelona next time!!

The only small issue we had was that the electronic card key App on the phone didn’t work, but we used codes to access to the apt instead.

Great location for what we wanted to experience. Much of what we did was within walking distance. Very comfortable apartment, roomy and clean. Kitchen was adequately stocked.

Had to be very careful where the shower head was facing or the entire bathroom floor flooded. We requested extra towels after this happened, however, received no response. An extra roll of toilet paper would have been appreciated as well. Electrical outlet to the left of the bed as you entered the room was not functioning.

Great modern apartment. There were plenty of stores close that made cooking easy. There was also a washing machine and patio to wash our clothes, which was useful. I appreciated the washing tablet supplied.

Some parts of El Raval have high crime rates. I wish I had known before booking. We didn't have any issues, and most streets around were busy and had good lighting, but it did cause a little stress, and I was pleased to arrive during the day. The team was also reassuring when I asked them about it.

A fabulous apartment in a superb location in the older, historic part of Barcelona. A really lovely apartment on the top floor in an area surrounded by little shops, bars and restaurants. Very quaint, clean and the area felt safe. The apartment was well equipped and had good amenities and everything we needed. Perfect for 2 people but would have been a bit squashed for 3 or 4.

It is a bit of a mission getting in to start with as you have to download an app for the electronic keycard, initiate it and then use it to open both the front door and your apartment door. It took us a while to fathom it all out, and then each day the electronic key would de-initialize off our phones and we would need to reset it with another code etc. It wasn't a major but was slightly irritating when we got home and couldn't get back in until we'd reconfigured it through the app again. The lift is very small so only takes one person and one small bag at a time. You can't fit 2 people in with bags as well. Also, just be aware that the bed is VERY hard!

The apartment was pleasant and clean. They even provided a welcome pack full of dish wash tablets, bin bag ,sponge and a wipe cloth. I enjoyed taking a shower and the air-conditioning . You can stay in and cook or eat out, there's a lot of bar and restaurants nearby. Close to everything and we had a good night sleep. We felt safe inside the property and there is CCTV camera on each floor. Thanks Ola living. Will definitely recommend

The staff at the reception was a bit sarcastic when I called to ask if can get the keys 1 hour early since we arrived a little early at the property. And since its an electronic key was via phone app, you can't run out of charge or you can't get in. There is no staff at the property.
