The staff we interacted with (William, Vanessa, and Fatima) were all very pleasant, helpful and cheerful! The breakfast service was exceptional in comparison to what is typical of a stay in Europe: Nespresso machine, cold water, fresh cut fruit, variety of offerings. The "honest bar" was also a nice amenity, impressed that the donations were used for charitable organizations. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the late afternoon, early evenings. Very peaceful despite being in the middle of the Eixample area. The air conditioning in our room worked well and the shower's water pressure was very good. We also enjoyed the shared library/sitting area and that the hotel was not a noisy place. The only times we saw other guests were during the breakfast hours. It often felt like we were the only ones there! The location of this hotel is excellent- literally 10 minutes walk to Paisage de Gracia, and numerous bars and shops were all around. The metro stop was just around the corner.

Being in Spain, one can expect at times for things to not be as they are at home, so it wasn't a big deal, but the shower was a bit tight for my husband who is over 6ft tall. The ceilings of the bathroom and the entry space to our room were lower than what we're used to. However, the bedrooms' ceilings were very high, which was nice! It was also noted that the plants and gardens of the terrace looked very neglected- as if they've not been watered for some time. I don't know if there's a water restriction or not, but it was not as I'd expected it to look based on the advertisting of the space.

The location is very well positioned, in a quiet area, very close to La Rambla and just a 10-minute walk from the metro. The terrace is very nice, and you can enjoy it if you’re staying in the main building

The location has its rooms divided between two buildings. Guests who stay in the main building — where the reception is located, breakfast is served, and the terrace is situated — can truly enjoy all the facilities the place has to offer. The rooms in the second building, which does have an impressive entrance, are at a disadvantage, as guests need to constantly go back and forth between the two buildings to access the terrace. We had a room with a sofa bed, more like a small apartment, but the air conditioning was very poorly positioned — directly above the bed, blowing straight onto your head. So, if you turn it off, it gets unbearably hot, and if you leave it on, you risk getting a cold and waking up with a headache.

Loved the shared areas (library and terrasse!), the breakfast and the staff, they were super nice and even allowed us to leave our luggage the last day so that we could visit the city <3

I didn't like too much the room. The beds were comfortable but the room didn't have too much natural light (but we can't do much about it, the building is already like that) and I feel that it could have been cleaner... For example, there was dust under the sofa and the toilet brush was rusty. Again, I don't mind much because I don't vacuum under my sofa every week and it's just a toilet brush but it felt a bit weird in a B&B.

The common space - lounge/library/ breakfast area was lovely. There is a large terrace, but when we were there,e it was too hot to enjoy it. The buffet breakfast was excellent and slightly different every day. The room is in a classic apartment building, with plenty of local atmosphere! I liked the artiness of the place - very interesting and lovely modern art on the walls.

We arrived late in the evening, and it was quite a production to get access - in the end, we paid an extra 10 euros to have someone come and help us. He was very nice, but it's stressful not to be able to check in normally. There was staff around at breakfast time but only to help if there was a problem, like berries finishing or how to work the coffee machine. I would have liked someone to be there as a host or hostess, to say "Good morning" and make the tea or coffee - a bit of personal touch goes a long way! The lovely, huge artwork above our bed was full of dust! achoooooo!

Loved, loved, loved this place. It was a bit more than I would normally pay but worth every penny. The location was perfect as it was so peaceful in a busy city, especially the lovely roof terrace. It was so nice to have breakfast outside & to finish a busy day's site seeing sat outside listening to birds singing. There was a lovely communal area where you could access cold water, tea, coffee or even an alcoholic beverage whenever you wanted. Breakfast had a really good choice & was available till later than usual places. I would definitely recommend staying here on a trip to Barcelona 😊

Breakfast is very relaxing. The location is very good.

We had a terrible encounter , but it's not the owner's fault . This was the first stop of our trip. After the long flight, we finally found the place. Just as we tried to figure out how to enter the code, a couple approached us. The guy followed us into the building. He appeared to be helpful and pointed to where the b&b property is. He insisted on helping me with my carry-on luggage. I told him I could handle it myself. He was too enthusiastic to refuse. We got into our room, by the time we were to go out for dinner. I found my handbag missing. Luckily, I kept our passport in a different zip pocket. The cash and credit cards were stolen. It really hurt when I thought about it.

Really liked the style and comfort the hotel offered plus the breakfast had plenty of choice...I don't like 'English style' breakfast and appreciated the avocado, cheese, eggs, fruit etc on offer as well as good yogurt...plus bacon or ham for those who wanted it. I also liked the lounge to relax in znd the fact you could help yourself to a drink of water, coffee or wine...thought that was just great

The price....I didn't realise the Grand Prix was on which I assumed bumped up the price ...my diary was fixed so I couldn't change the dates

The location was excellent, the b&b itself was lovely, especially the outside space, we really enjoyed the garden which is beautiful. The bed was very big and comfortable and we really appreciated the bath tub! The staff were very friendly especially William, who was exceptional and couldn’t do enough to help us. We had an issue with something and he went out of his way to help us immediately. I would definitely recommend a stay here and I hope we will be back soon. Thank you for a wonderful time

Everything was great overall

Relaxed vibes. Felt more like a private home than a hotel which suited us perfectly as an adult family group. We particularly loved the rooftop deck area with swifts flying overhead. And the quirky artwork and furniture everywhere. And availability of coffee, tea and water (and even wine and beer in return for a donation to a worthy local charity). The location too was perfect - quiet but close to lots of nice bars and restaurants and walking distance to many of the popular sights. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the checkin process was simple.

It would have been nice to have a small fridge in both rooms and the shower cubicle in our room was a bit of a nightmare - both doors opened out and caused puddles on the floor. Much as I like to avoid unnecessary washing, it might have been nice to have a deeper room clean with a change of sheets and towels once during our 8 night stay.

We stayed in the additional rooms next door from the main hotel. Location was great for the first few days in Barcelona as we explored the west part of the city (then we moved to the coast). The room was superb with a giant bed, shower AND bath. Our room also had a balcony! There was a tea station, water and coffee machine (wasn't working at the time) in the little corridor outside the room. Breakfast was served in the main hotel building and was sometimes busy - especially if you come a little later, some of the foods would be gone, but we still found what to eat, and the selection was quite good.

We got stuck in the lift mid-floor going back to our room with a toddler in the evening. The number we called would not help, luckily the people from the room next door came and helped us with the stuck door. It was a little stressful, but it did not spoil our stay. During daytime, there is always a person downstairs to open the lift door :)
