The room was really clean and the air conditioner was working really well which was a blessing cuz it was hell hot in Barcelona. The facilities were good enough for a hostal. It is not a new building but it was totally fine. The location is perfect, from a walking distance from La Rambla, the main attractions and in front of a metro station. We could move easily through Barcelona.

We asked for a room with two single beds at the time of reservation whoch was made way before the date, and it was said that they could provide it. But when we got there, there were no rooms with two beds available. Also you can hear the peopl in the other rooms, so if you are a light sleepers you might have problems.

Very clean and safe. Each floor had a separate key on each floor and hallway. Bathrooms and kitchen area were clean. Mattress was comfy and clean. I read on the review that they clean our rooms when we are outside. So i requested that they dont clean it since we had all our luggages open. The 24hr receptionist were both very kind. They also have hair dryers that you can take in front of the front desk.

It'd be better if they could provide efficient communications. I could only contact them through booking.com message and had late responses whereas other accommodation usually have whatsapp to directly contact the host when we are outside or in case of emergency.

Great location near a Metro, close to La Rambla. It's on the 1st floor but has a working elevator. There's also a little kitchen in the common area. You have to ask for a hair dryer at the reception. Check-in is open well into the evening with no additional fee which is great, if your flight lands in the evening. Room cleaning was daily. A little supermarket is next door and bakeries for a breakfast all around. The airoport bus stops on the corner, bus stop Univesitat.

The towels were worn out with holes but otherwise clean. Windows seem to be modern and do a good job blocking out sound but you can still hear noise from the street. It depends on how light of a sleeper you are. It's a 2 star hotel but a good deal for the money.

Hotel has 24 hour reception desk, which was great as we arrived very late. Employees were very kind and the hotel room was clean and pretty spacious. It had everything you need, with great water pressure, hot water and working heating. The location is amazing! We felt safe, as it was right next to a busy square full of people even in the night.We could walk everywhere from the hotel and also it was just couple of minutes away on foot from the Aerobus station. We booked a room with shared bathroom and to our surprise got a room with a private one. Thank you so much for this upgrade! We had a great stay and would return 😊

Easy to reach,close to the central and transportation hubs. AC in the room,shower gel and shampoo in the shared bathroom. Overall a good match for a more affordable accommodation.

There were sus stains on the bed covers,but we just take it off and put it in the corner. There were no hangers in the shared bathroom for the towels,just the sink or the toilet lid can be used as a holding place. The AC has not been cleaned in a while,because there were black stuff under it when it was operating. While we were there the room on the other side of the building had a makeover,there were shouting,drilling and knocks all over the walls during the day.

This hostel is a perfect choice for a couple days in the Centre of Barcelona if you don’t mind sharing the bathroom. We love walking, so we didn’t even take transport to get to the beach or Sagrada Familia, but if you prefer public transport there are a few bus stations around. And there is a direct bus route from the airport, which is very convenient. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable, with a queen-size bed, an open wardrobe, a sink with a mirror and a very nice balcony to have a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Toilets and showers were very clean. There is also a kitchen where you can make some tea or coffee anytime and keep your meals in the fridge.

Literally 10steps from the front door to the Metro stop Universitat. Bakery with coffee and beads just outside front door. The best location yet for my 6 visits to Barcelona. 10 minute walk to Plaça Cataluna. Short 3 or four blocks to La Flauta arguably best tapas in town. Showers were the only showers of used in Spanish hostals that didn’t leak. No messy morning time

Beds a bit soft.

This hotel had amazing value for money and has concentrated their efforts on areas that matter the most. The entrance and foyer areas may be plain and the layout odd, but the room was amazing. It was very small but it was perfectly clean, nicely bright and very modern and comfortable, especially the bed. The room had a fully customisable climate control system which was lovely after a day of exploring the city. My favourite bit was the ensuite. It was large and well lit and had a huge shower with one of the large rainfall style shower heads which was perfect for refreshing after a long day.

The layout and outside presentation of the hotel were a bit odd but considering the great price and the exceptional quality of the room it wasn't a burden to put up with it.

It is right next to the metro station, so there is easy public transport access. Also, the El Born district and other nice areas are within walking distance. Even though the bathroom is shared with some other rooms, it is kept very clean, just like the kitchen area.

The walls are super thin and we could hear the neighbour`s cuckoo clock the entire night. However, this just seems to be a common thing across the region. Additionally, since the toilet and the bathroom are in the same room and are shared among a few hostel rooms, sometimes we had to wait a few minutes, but it was never a long wait.

The staff was really friendly and helpful - when I needed to go to a hospital she provided some useful information; the room was comfortable for one person; centrally located; there are lifts

The room did not have too much natural light; the shower is on the smaller side - but all these were known to me beforehand
