Great hostel, with simple but modern and comfortable equipment. The room, shared bathrooms and dining room/kitchenette were very clean and cozy. Considering central location in Benalmadena, I find it a very attractive place to stay. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Air conditioning in room starts after a 5-10 seconds, what is a bit confusing. Also, there is no place to park on the street and even unload the luggage. Don't consider few arking places opposite the entrance as good for that as they belong to police who remotely desactivate your car key if you take their space...

It's not my first time in Benalmadena, but it was my first time staying in Serraman. From my experience, I know for sure that's the place I want to book for next time. The team is very friendly; they remember you and make sure you have everything you need. I was really impressed with how clean my room, kitchen, common area, and bathroom were. The hostel is very close to the center, so I reached everything on foot. Whether you are here for a short or longer stay, I definitely recommend this place for your vacation.

I can't fault the exceptional service I was shown during my recent stay. The reception staff were helpful, welcoming, and polite. I reserved a single room with a private bathroom and was pleasantly surprised to find I had a small balcony, which proved to be my little haven since temperatures were well above 30c so it was nice to have some private outside space. The cafeteria area was perfect for preparing either a ready meal using the microwave or just sitting down eating a hot meal purchased from the many takeaways in the area. The location was excellent, I have stayed in Arroya de Meil before, so I knew The Serramar was just 10- 15 minutes to the beach. The cleanliness of the hostel was excellent, with my room being cleaned on a daily basis. I was very impressed, such great value for money, and would highly recommend The Serramar.

It was rather noisy in the evenings, but that is to be expected given it is in the middle of town and its holiday season.

Exceptional accommodation for the price/star rating. Spotlessly clean and the staff are fantastic. I was staying due to a family emergency, so I wasn't looking for luxury, but this hotel surpassed every expectation. Good sized, very clean rooms with great air-conditioning. A lovely kitchen/ dining area with a fridge/freezer and microwave leading to a small balcony. There was also an outside area for drying clothes. It's not the "Ritz" but I can't recommend this hotel more highly. The location is also fantastic !

Absolutely nothing to dislike!!

The hotel is about 15 min walk to the beach . Near the hotel there are a lot of shops and coffee shops 😋. Restaurants are also a lot in the area . And are open until late in the night 🌙. The staff is very nice 👌. The cleaning lady came every day and changed the sheets and towels. The furniture is true a little bit old but the service and cleaning 👌.

The location is perfect, right next to the train station, the city center, and a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. The staff are friendly. The air conditioning in the room, the balcony, and the cleanliness of the hotel .

The bathroom smelled weird, even it was clean. There was no hair dryer in the room or bathroom.

Fantastic location with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was spotlessly clean and although we were on the front of the building, there was very little noise from the street. The kitchen/dining facilities on the first floor were basic, but allowed us to make our breakfast before heading out for the day.

In the heart of Arroyo. Basic clean room with hand basin in the room and a balcony. Use of the communal kitchen if you want to make a drink. No problem with the shared bathroom, never occupied once when we went to use it. Staff were very pleasant and would always have a chat.

Only one socket in the room.

Good value for money, got a basic room with 3 beds for the 3 of us for only 91 euros per night. The hotel isn't far from downtown, there is even a police station and a supermarket (el jamón) just nearby. Easy check-in process.

I wish there had been a small fridge, other than that there were no negative aspects really.

The location is perfect very close to the train station in the centre of Arroyo. The hostel is basic but clean and comfortable. The staff are lovely and helpful and are available 24hours.

No outside space although some rooms may have balconies.
