This visit absolutely exceeded our expectations! The staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered in my extensive travels! Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a large, comfortable room that was absolutely incredible. We had the best two nights of sleep of our trip at this hotel! The staff went out of their way to recommend sites to see as well as restaurants at which to eat. We had trouble with the safe and they immediately came up to assist us. They were attentive to all our needs and requests! I would absolutely stay here again!

The one recommendation I have is to make sure the safes are bolted down. They would be very easy to pick up and remove from the room and that made us slightly uncomfortable.

Casa Pizarro was an absolutely delightful hotel and wonderfully situated with the walls of beautiful Caceres. There was a pretty terrace where we had breakfast and the blonde waitress was a whizz on her Google Translate and couldn't have been more accommodating! Likewise the two girls in reception. One with a little English was exceptionally kind in procuring a bucket of ice and glasses when the bar was closed and the other, Joana, on duty in the morning spoke terrific English, was charming and super-helpful. She was telling me how lovely Caceres was in winter-time and I've now made a big mental note to return to Caceres and Hotel Pizarro specifically another year in the winter!

The hotel has the charm or a distinguished private residence which has been refurbished to a very high standard and very well maintained. The terrace is a perfect place for an early morning coffee as you see the sunrise. The staff were always on hand and went the extra mile to make sure that we felt at home, nothing was too much and always done with a smile and very pleasant disposition. We loved our bedroom which was huge and beautifully decorated.

If there was a small jiggle is that the parking is offsite albeit very close to the hotel when walking the distance of cerca 300 meters, one can easily live with this.

This hotel is in a newly renovated building in the ancient city of Caceres and was only opened a year ago. Deserves the description of a ‘boutique’ hotel. Everything has been done to make the building and decor attractive. Bedrooms are very comfortable with all amenities provided and have excellent bathrooms. The hotel is in a very quiet street but it is only a 10 minute walk to the main square and the ancient buildings of the city that all need to be explored.

Outside sourced catering for breakfast. It was poor.

The location is excellent and it offers secure parking at a reasonable rate. The team are excellent and their English is good. The hotel is beautifully restored and the attention to detail is impressive. Situated in the old town it is the perfect place to begin your Câceres journey.

There is a lot of roadworks and building going on in Câceres, so the parking was difficult to find. The staff were ever so helpful with guiding us.

A beautiful property in a great location. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Secure parking for motorcycle although a 5 minute walk away.

The first room we were given had dirty sheets with numerous hairs in the bed and the safe didn't work although this was dealt with quickly by the staff. The room was very noisy all night as there was a club/bar right outside our room although this may have just been our room 105. Avoid this room if you want to sleep.

The loveliest boutique hotel and staff. A gracious beautifully appointed room, luxurious bathroom, and the piece de resistance was the adjoining outdoor terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location, and the ambiance of this hotel. Lara, the concierge, went to great lengths to arrange a special tour for us in Caceres and assist us with parking our rental vehicle. This is a superb hotel with an excellent restaurant on site that serves a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!!!

Casa Pizarro was so beautiful. It was so creatively designed incorporating the new yet retaining the original features of the historic building. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome. The little terrace at the back was lovely for breakfast

There is nothing we don’t like about the property

We loved the decor in the hotel and the room, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom very clean and well appointed. The reception staff were excellent, couldn't have been more helpful. Location perfect.

Breakfast was not great - a bit of a language barrier with waiting staff, though they did their best with non-Spanish speakers.
