Swimming pool and surrounds were top notch. Breakfast was the best spread we have ever seen and we have seen a lot. Access to a very clean and attractive beach was easy. Room was fine with a great sea etc view. Would stay there again.

Lack of hotel faciliites information eg did not know there was a lounge, library or spa facilities until discovered days later. Need a book detailing the info. like you normally get in a hotel. We thought the towels were cheap in fact the pool towels were better. Despite the superior breakfast the one evening dinner we had was not very good and no flexibility on how many courses ie 30 euros for 3 courses whether you want them or not.

The breakfast was delicious! And even the food at the bar by the pool was great. Location was superb and so close to all other restaurants and bars so lots to choose from. Nearby two stunning beaches. The staff were also the loveliest. Room was neat and clean, and overall hotel was very aesthetically pleasing with lots of useful facilities.

Room was just a bit smaller than pictures advertised (didn’t bother us in the end tbh). Also paid for sea view and got only a small partial view closer to the edge of balcony as trees were in the way - just wish this was stated in description so expectation is set appropriately.

It is really excellent hotel in general, in good location, with parking nearby, very close to a beach and restaurants. Hotel is very clean and well maintained, rooms spacious and logically organized. Excellent, really outstanding breakfast, with option for freshly made egg dishes and eating on a terrace. Staff is efficient and polite, no problems at all. WiFi working well.

The bathroom could have a bit more light, I'm also not big fan of split/open bathroom (toilet and shower are closed, but sink is kind of in the room), but it is design choice I guess. They also charge you 2€ per night for kettle, which I thought was weird for a hotel with 4 stars rating.

well i expected more quality food, more home made & bio focus food - i prefer secured wifi, it was not - not much has changed since i was there 3 years ago - the waiters at the beach bar could be more customer friendly, they was not service minded and a funny set up with waiters collecting orders for drinks only, food only - i was there on a training camp and was late 1 day for breakfast because of training but didn't bother collecting a plate for me although was 2mins late after closing buffet....

Great hotel in an excellent location. Literally took us minutes to walk to the centre of Cala Dor and seconds to the beach…the hotel gate leads onto the beach. Hotel is extremely clean, we didn’t see anything that needed fixing or anything out of place. Our Seaview room was an excellent size, massive bathroom and lovely big balcony with a view of the beach/sea. Breakfast was a huge hit! Had everything we loved. Didn’t open until 7:45am but that didn’t bother us. Overall, an excellent stay. Would 100% return.

Pillows/mattress was a little uncomfortable but nothing to shout about, we soon got used to it.

Excellent breakfast facilities together with fabulous staff. Pool bar was great - particularly liked the cold towels and melon kebabs issued to all guests every day - nice touch! The beach bar/restaurant also very good.

We did have an issue with the showers - hot water in our area of the hotel was almost non existent so cold showers every day - many of us raised this with reception but feel it is an issue they encounter all the time and basically needs modernising - let's hope this gets sorted in the winter months as this is an issue which needs to be sorted. It would put me off coming again.

Great location right on a cute little beach cove. It’s very well maintained for a classic 70s style hotel, and I liked the retro style personally but others might prefer something more modern. Staff were friendly and there is a great beach club style restaurant on beach -level which had great contemporary vibes with good music and food. Choose a beach facing room and it’s great.

Due to its position on the beach, you get the noise of loud revellers late at night especially if you leave the doors open. Sound of music from nearby restaurants if you are beach facing.

Fantastic location, so close to the centre and direct access to the beach (Cala Petita) which was stunning and convenient. It gets busy at the beach so having the direct access in the morning helped to grab a spot. We rented a car and there was secure, free private hotel parking available, which was a super short walk to the hotel. Upon arrival (we arrived late evening), there were no parking spaces available but we were told other hotel guests were leaving the next day so we had first rights. In the meantime, there is great free street parking on the same road of the hotel. Great room size, we were on level 0 which had direct access to the pool. Safe was free and easy to use. Breakfast was decent too.

Gym was quite simple, hair dryer was available but was quite outdated. We didn't use the pool and mainly went to the beach so can't comment about the how easy it is to get a sun bed. Only complaint is that the beds are super squeaky.

We had the best stay at Hotel Cala D’or. Couldn’t fault them at all. Staff were so helpful with all of our questions. Never an issue getting a pool lounger. Very easy access to the beach by the hotel but also not a far walk from other beaches if you want to explore. Beds were very comfy. Our balcony had a great view of the beach. Bathrooms were nice and spacious and clean. On our last day we had to check out at around 6am to head to the airport and the staff made up breakfast plates for us because we would miss the usual buffet breakfast! This stay was a bit more $$$ than we would usually spend but was totally worth it.

The location was fantastic, offering easy access to Cala Petita beach. Though the beach is small and can sometimes be a bit crowded, it is incredibly beautiful. The hotel is also close to Cala D’or village, which provides plenty of options for restaurants, cafes, and clubs, as well as a 15-minute walk to the Marina. For those who prefer more private areas, the hotel has several options near the pool. The highlight of our stay was the fantastic view. Breakfast was varied and of very good quality, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers private parking with the possibility of charging an electric car. This is the perfect destination for couples looking to enjoy privacy and relaxing days near the beach.
