We usually stay in the hotel but this time chose the apartments. I’m not sure we’ll go back to the hotel! This apartment was huge! We had much more room to relax and had the option of being able to cook (we didn’t). We had a fridge and an area inside and on the balcony to sit and read / eat. The bedroom was ample with plenty of hanging space for clothes. We used all the hotel’s facilities as well as daily breakfast. We ate in the restaurant and we had a daily clean. One thing we did this time was take a bus to Palma to go to Soller and Port de Soller, which I highly recommend you do. It’s beautiful.

There was a huge tree right at our balcony. It obstructed the view a bit but gave us some privacy too.

The location was perfect for us. Beautiful, quiet but close enough to the beach and palmanova shops and bars to get there easily. The beach club was one of our favourite spots and the hotel facilities, pool and bars were all spotless and well designed. I used the gym a few times as I’m a runner and this was great. Next time I’ll try the spa too. Food was excellent, service was excellent. I would recommend for couples, families or quieter groups. This is not a party place but somewhere to relax and unwind. However the party isn’t far if you want a couple of nights out.

Son Caliu Apartamentos is absolutely top of tops! One of my favorite places I have stayed so far. Located in the quiet and beautiful area of Son Caliu, it offers the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. The beach is just a short walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all essentials, the bed was comfortable, and the balcony was a great spot to relax. The whole place felt well-maintained and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the excellent facilities, makes this a perfect getaway spot. Would definitely stay here again!

The position of the property was great, tucked into a residential corner so that there was very little noise except for the bin en at 6.20 am. The apartment was spotless and was cleaned everyday. Fresh towels and bins emptied etc. Tbe staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful and the free breakfast included was amazing and I would have to say that it’s the best buffet breakfast that I have ever had as the choice and freshness of the food was excellent. They even had bottles of ice chilled cava out for you to help yourself

The only downside to the apartment was the sofa/ sofa bed which was not at all comfortable. Trying to sit on the sofa just to chill was very uncomfortable and as a sofa bed you felt the wire frame through it. Feel that they could be doing with a half decent sofa bed which is also comfortable to sit on when you are actually in the apartment.

My assessment is based on the price we paid - we went off season in late November - the weather was great we liked the location and for the money the apartments were excellent - probably just a quarter of the high season price - saying that the apartments were very comfortable, nice bathroom and beautiful balcony and view - nothing at all to complain about. We understood it was low season and the hotel facilities were closed but found it very easy to find places to eat and explore. Expectations met and exceeded.

I don't think its should be necessary to charge 2.50 euro for safety box in the room

The hotel reception was amazing. Nothing was a problem such as an iron, a high chair, fixing the door (which jammed) and getting a complimentary shower. The pool, loungers, spa and indoor pool was just amazing. The hotel is stunning, I would stay there next time. The apartment we had was number 9 and it was amazing - ground floor and a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and private beach we could use. The ground floor was perfect for our baby.

The weather in April was awful. It rained 3/7 days so we couldn’t go out much with a baby. Therefore the hotel indoor pool was a godsend! Also our amazing view from the balcony apartment was fab which made staying in better! Only criticism of hotel was outdoor pool was FREEZING cold and I think the indoor pool should be warmer, especially in April.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful hotel on the seafront and our holiday exceeded all expectations! First of all, the location is just perfect. The hotel is right on the first line, just a few steps from the beach with crystal clear water. The view of the sea from our room was amazing. The room was spacious, modern and very cozy, with a beautiful design and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Cleaning was done daily, everything was always clean and tidy. Recommended!

breakfast was delicious, indoor pool great, plenty of sun beds- altogether very enjoyable. The apartments have amazing views with great facilties at the hotel.., reception very helpful.

the sofa bed in the apartments was uncomfortable. we chose to put the children in the bedroom in two single beds and my husband and I slept in the sitting room on the sofa bed which was a much nicer room than the bedroom as it was filled with light and lovely sea views however the sofabed was not great!

The location was great with views of the ocean and a great balcony to relax on. The place was clean and comfy and it does have daily service if you want. The restaurants and bar were great. The best part was the pool bartender (I cant remember her name).

The beach chairs were collected and locked up at 6 but it is light until 9. The coffee maker was a hot pot and pour over. A coffee maker or french press is standard for this type of property. The stove did not work but we didnt really need it.

Lovely apartment with a ground floor terrace and proximity to beach and Son Caliu Hotel. A few great little bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away.

The sofa bed wasn’t comfortable, very dipped in the middle although the twin beds in bedroom were good - we took turns sleeping in the beds and sofa bed. Also not much kitchen equipment, dishcloths or condiments.
