Esther was an amazing host, so welcoming and helpful. The property location was so good for the old town and for exploring. The room was beautiful but there was also other communal rooms to enjoy such as an upstairs terrace and a lounge/relaxation area. A bonus was the availability to take bags/ hats/ sun umbrellas / cool bags / beach mats and towels to use on the beaches so no need to acquire your own. I would highly recommend this wonderful place to stay.

There was nothing I didn’t like, it was perfect.

Esther is the perfect host! she was easily contactable at all times, she explained the check in process beforehand and even gave us a free upgraded which was the most unexpected treat! There was aircon & heating which made it perfect when it was warm in the day but cooler at night being out of season. Perfect location right in the centre but it was perfectly quiet at nighttime for us. The little terrace on the roof was simply gorgeous and an unexpected extra was the little seating area inside with a fridge and cutlery plates glasses etc. There is a smart tv in the room & the rooms are gorgeously decorated. Shower had really good pressure and the bed was very comfy! she even allowed us a later check out by an hour and to leave our bags in the reception until we had to leave, the biggest thank you to Esther! I wish we could of stayed longer! Cannot recommend the Calma hotel anymore if I tried!

Beautiful hotel with very nice decoration and touches, loved the style - def took some pictures as inspo for my own house ;) Esther is amazing, super responsive with good tips eg where to park. Location is brilliant, and the little roof terrasse is really cute. Loved it!

Everything was perfect. For silence extremists do realize you are in the center of the town so you might hear some noises (only up to midnight for me) but nothing abnormal; it’s the joy of being at the center of everything :)

We loved Calma Hotel! We stayed for 5 nights in June 2023 and we had booked the smaller room. We were upgraded to a much larger room which was so lovely. The hotel is in the best location in Ciutadella, so central and next to the best restaurant in town. El hogar de pollo, it’s a local spot with the best zamburrinas and pulpo in all of Menorca. The lady who runs Calma kindly took our washing and brought it back all clean and folded. The aircon was great after a long day in the sun!

Great location, surrounded by nice restaurants and cafes. The hotel, quaint, super clean and very comfortable (bed included). The owner, Esther, was amazing. Attentive from the very beginning and always concerned that we were having a pleasant stay, each day. Couldn’t ask for a better host. All around a very great experience.

Guest noise, but that is not an issue related to the hotel but rather to the guests, some (but not all) can be inconsiderate with noise.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We have literally told each other we want to come back to Menorca even if just for the hotel. Our host Esther was an absolute dream. She initially offered to exchange through WhatsApp and was fine with us arriving at 10am for check in (really accommodating) and then was always there whenever we had questions to assist us finding / understanding the parking situation in Menorca, recommended an incredible restaurant just next to the hotel (El Hogar Del Pollo) when we arrive which was the ideal first meal for us (hugely recommend). The hotel is located right in the center of everything, couldn't imagine a better location. And the room is incredibly cute and super clean. Esther cleans it daily. The bed was very comfortable too. We honestly couldn't have a better stay even though my boyfriend was sick most of the weekend and we had to spend quite a lot of time in the bedroom for him to recuperate. When we left, Esther was kind enough to allow us for a couple of extra hours in the bedroom before check-out so my boyfriend could sleep a bit longer. On my end, I had to be on a client call on my laptop which I did in the cute little communal area on the first floor and once I finished, Esther told me I could stay as long as I needed if I had to work. Now back in London, and we miss Menorca but most of all, we really miss Calma Hotel and Ester's kindness. Muchissimas gracias por tu hospitalidad, Esther. Hasta pronto!

Perfect Location to enjoy all of Ciutadella - right in the heart of the old town. Host Esther is truly lovely to get to know and she is happy to help with any information needed. Also provides cool bags, hats and beech umbrellas to use for day trips. Comfy bed and great shower / bathroom.

Very pleasant stay in Menorca. Exceptional location in the heart of Cuitadella, walking distance to everything right outside of the door. Esther the manager was so lovely and extremely accomodating. Beautifully kept rooms with a modern Spanish touch. Will definitely recommend.
