Staff were exceptional, especially as there was an issue we had with our stay, it was quickly resolved and they were at all times friendly, professional and accommodating. The room itself was nice and bright, modern and roomy. Location was perfectly situated for those that want to explore the city by foot and the many local beaches by bus. Breakfast was surprisingly good! Fresh and ripe fruit, and a nice selection of Spanish breakfast items.

Central location close to many restaurants and the centre of Ciutadella. Room was very comfortable with a balcony which gave us a view of the cathedral and the windmill. There was also a rooftop terrace and cocktail bar with a similar outlook. It was lovely to return in the evening and sit out in the sunshine. The room was bright and airy. Shower was excellent and bed was very comfortable. There was a great variety of food for breakfast and everything was replenished frequently. We also liked the sweets at reception. It was difficult to pass by without helping ourselves to a few..... All the staff were very helpful and looked after us very well. Special mention to Moi. We travel a lot and Hostal Menurka is up there as one of our favourite places to stay and we would highly recommend.

One very small suggestion, on the top floor the lights in the corridor stayed on all night. It would be helpful if they were on a timer to save electricity.

The room and the part of the city the hotel was in. Very close too the center but not in in the busy parts. The room was a good size for someone traveling alone and had everything I needed. The breakfast was small but has enough. The sun roof has a very nice view and in pleasant to spend some time on.

The noise from other rooms. Because every room looks out over the little courtyard, it's very easy to hear what goes on in other rooms and on the sun roof, especially with the window open.

Almost everything about my stay was perfect. The staff were helpful and kind, always ensuring I knew they were available if needed. The location is excellent, less than a 5-minute walk from the center of Ciutadella. The cleaning service was also top-notch. However, the lack of soundproofing meant I could hear everything happening around me, especially conversations among the cleaning staff and others travellers (just in the morning). Overall, it was still a very good experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel!

Within easy walking distance of the city centre and all its attractions. A short walk from a small carpark which, although busy, usually has a few spaces at no or little cost. Quiet overnight.

A lift would be useful, particularly to get to the sun terrace on the 4th floor. The bathroom felt extremely hot and stuffy - perhaps the extractor fan needs looking at?

Breakfast was excellent, and replenished throughout the service. Lots of options and good coffee 😀 Staff were very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. The room was clean and fresh and the bed was big and comfortable. It's very close to the centre, but not a hassle to drive in and find parking...just some one way streets to be aware of.

Our balcony could have had a better view, but for the price it was fine.

The staff were always polite and helpful . The position of the Hostal was very close to the old town , an easy walk in . Parking was close and we always found a free place .

Nice and helpful staff, they helped a lot - from solving the room issue to giving tips and info about the buses, car rental and cultural events. Very nice breakfast and excellent location in the heart of Ciutadella.

It seems there are two standards of the rooms. Looks like single bedrooms have lower standard, and its not easy to understand it from the room description and photos.

included access to the breakfast buffet was great, staff were VERY friendly and accomodating, cleaners came and changed our beds everyday

the picnic amenity was not worth €8.50 per person (a sandwich, drink, and tupperware of fruit = expensive meal deal)

Everything was good. Friendly staff, a nice spacious room with balcony with towels and bedding changed every day. A really exceptional breakfast especially for a small hotel, with a great variety of good quality meats, cheeses, cakes, fruit , breads etc. And it was great that the breakfast was included. The Manurka absolutely exceeded our expectations - we have stayed in much worse 4* hotels. Good location as we wanted to be near the town centre, with the bonus of a nearby car park with free parking (if you could find a white space!)

Fortunately we were on the first floor but the steps might have been a bit of a problem to the second and third floors.
