Lots of choice at mealtimes - my family includes a vegetarian and a fussy child and they always managed to fill their plate. The food service is incredibly efficient and all the staff are pleasant. Between meals there are snacks laid on by the pool. My boys enjoyed the football session put on by the animation team and having the basketball hoops, football pitch and tennis courts is great for older kids and teens (there was never any trouble getting onto these). The kids absolutely loved the aquapark which is about a 20 minute walk away from Bluebay.

The hotel website says there is a free shuttle service to the beach and town but there isn't.

Rooms were larger than expected, plenty of storage space. Lots of choice for food in the restaurant to cater to different tastes, with a few themed nights throughout the week. They also have a hot snack bar throughout the day for those who may need an earlier or later lunch. There may be a slight queue at peak times to seat you in the main dining room. The staff were always friendly and especially the entertainment staff who were excellent and energetic. Our request for a ground floor room was provided which suited our needs. Cockroaches are common in Lanzarote so an upper floor can also be requested if preferred. The pools were still full of children who braved the colder temperature, with the baby pool being seperate there was enough sun loungers to go around and no issue with floats being used. Already booked to come back again!

Only improvement is that some beds are a little rocky with very firm mattresses and the key card can take several attempts to open the door.

Just back from 6 night stay. Staff were efficient and polite- they gave us a birthday card for our little boy which was a lovely touch.Food was very good, plenty of choice and there was something different every night. Fresh salads, rolls, fish, meat etc. For a 3 star hotel the food was very good and better than we expected. Entertainment staff tried their best to have entertainment all through out the day so things for kids and adults which was nice! Pool area and gardens are lovely and kept well. We had a ground floor apartment which had a terrace and sun lounger, perfect for when baby was napping. All.in all, it was a nice stay.

Apartments badly need to be renovated i.e repainted, doors replaced etc. they are very drab and dated which makes them look dirty. Also, I did not find the apartment to be as clean as you would like. Found a child's sock under the bed that did not belong to us, suggesting cleaners hadn't bothered to clean under beds prior to us. Also when cleaners came, it was very basic cleaning, quick wipe of floors and bins changed. We only had our sheets changed once. ( I asked a cleaner another day for sheets and changed the beds myself).

My room was in a quiet location, top floor as requested. Good position, only 15 mins walk to Playa Bastian beach. Shops, cafes, supermarkets nearby. Nice helpful. hardworking staff.

Unfortunately other than breakfast, the food lets this hotel down. It is very bland, with no taste. I avoided using the all inclusive restaurant as could not face it. Had to spend money outside hotel on meals. If only some small changes could be introduced to enhance the quality and taste of food, which would make this hotel a great all round choice.

Friendly, supportive and really hardworking staff especially guys in the restaurant, good location just 10-15 minutes walk to the seaside, active animation for kids by the pool and evening entertainment for kids and adults, tasty and a different variety of food for a 3 star hotel, good room cleaning. We loved our holidays with the BluBay hotel.

We lived in B302 and the room needs to be renovated and the couch needs to be replaced.

Fantastic value for money. Spacious apartment, decent food and ,you feel welcomed. Check out is by 12 but your all inclusive is valid until you leave the resort, very convenient and special in my opinion. Perfect location ,close to the Bastian Beach and from there you can walk along the coast for miles with many other beaches along the way. Decent pool area. For me there is nothing to complain about , very satisfied guest I am.

Chairs in restaurant dirty! 7 years ago they were new. Not cleaned since. In rooms sofas totally dusty. Our rooms were not cleaned at all during our stay (first day we did not need it, but they said 'tomorrow'). But not even rubish was taken out. Restaurant and rooms need cleaning and refreshment. Food also needs a good upgrade. Thank you!

Best price-quality ratio in my opinion. Here is why: - excellent location close to Playa Bastian and the Bus Stop to Arrecife - very nice people working in this Hotel - good apartments with air conditioning and big tv as well - excellent choice of food - there is even animation for kids and the evening show for the families Everytime I go to this Hotel I feel well looked after... It was a very comfortable holiday everything was good

It was in a good location, very clean and helpful happy staff. Enough staff on in the evenings so it wasn’t 3 deep at the bar. The food was plentiful always hot and a number of different choices, those who complain then go and pay & stay in a 5* hotel this is a top class 3* hotel. We will be returning 👍🏼
