The hotel is beautiful and welcoming. We had a lovely welcome from Valentina on reception who even obliged us in practicing our Spanish! Our room (3074) was on the third floor in block E, with a small blaconette overlooking the pool. It was extremely spacious and comfortable, with a huge jacuzzi bath and a walk in double shower. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The TV has a few English channels which is nice. Mini bar (payable) which we didn't use, but the cleaners do leave 2 small bottles of water per day which is a nice touch. Proper coffee machine as well as a kettle. We were visiting on our honeymoon and the hotel left us a bottle of rosé cava which was a really nice touch. Pool area is great, plenty of sunbeds at every time of day, however, not always in the sun! Pool temperature was fab. We got free use of the spa facilities for an hour which was a really nice touch and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We stayed Half board but never actually used the restaurant for dinner, as we preferred to eat out. Breakfast however was amazing. The restaurant itself gets very busy and the outside bit in particular can be hard to get a table in as it's only small. The food on offer is brilliant, huge selection, very fresh. Great tea and coffee selection, even bottles of cava to help yourself to, which was lovely for a morning mimosa! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is brilliant, easy to access all of the local facilities in each direction. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby and close to the beach. Everyone we came across was friendly and the area felt lovely and safe. We had an absolutely amazing time and didn't want to leave!

Only small niggles. Our balcony was not really usable for sitting out as it was tiny, so avoid that room if that's important to you (it wasn't to us, so we didn't bother moving). The main pool area is surrounded by buildings which (in November) meant the amount of sunny areas were small and althought there were lots of sunbeds, it was hard to find a sunny spot unless you were up early! Easier on the sun deck overlooking the sea, but the pool there was not as nice to swim in. The atmosphere is very, very chilled. No music around the pools with people generally just enjoying the peace and quiet, so if that's not for you then you might not like it. My husband wasn't keen, but I quite enjoyed the peace!

A very big, comfortable, quiet room with jacuzzi on the balcony. Staff is very friendly and helpful, we loved their service. Especially the girl at the desk of the buffet: she made sure we took note of every plant-based option. A muchos gracias to her!! Location is perfect: right at the beach and boulevard. A perfect base to discover the rest of this beautiful island by bike or car. The infinity pools are a great place to relax for a moment. The one at the front has a great seaview. We booked another stay for the end of summer.

Clean, safe, great location, amazing staff, lots of space and sun loungers. Amazing breakfast and lunch menu! So easy to get to the beach and town, the property itself is beautiful It’s a short walk around the town to shops and markets, to the aquarium and to a nearby mini golf course! The rooms were fabulous, honestly just beautiful! The bed was extremely comfortable, air conditioned room, great shower, big storage space (wardrobe) I didn’t use the gym but it was packed almost daily!

Nothing major really! Music by the pool would be nice all week to give a bit more atmosphere as we found we were nearly the only people talking to each other and laughing until Thursday rolled around! Cocktails could do with some work -but all other drinks were perfect! Dinner was the only meal that seemed disconnected unless you were going for the Asian buffet. That was the only meal we felt slightly let down by but what was there was still extremely delicious, it just seemed like the dishes had nothing to do with each other to create a meal! The bathrooms by the pool area/cafe were a bit less than… often no toilet paper and the lights kept going off -lol

It was a week stay. The hotel is perfectly located, right in the center of the island and it’s easy and quick to travel in any direction. Just steps away from the hotel you will find shops, bars and restaurants and a nice promenade along the sea. The hotel is very quiet, no noise from the street. There is no hotel parking, but you can park close to the hotel in the street free parkings. I had no problem with this. The food was very good. Lots of choices. Fresh fish, shrimps were delicious. The deserts were something absolutely fantastic. I eat deserts very seldom, but here I couldn’t but ate something everything dinner. The room was big and clean with a nice balcony. The staff is friendly and helpful.

WiFi was a joke. It’s very weak and disappears now and then. Forget about watching a video:(. I had problems even opening sites. I asked the reception to help. The technician promised to have their telecom company get it fixed the next morning. Unfortunately nothing changed.

The room was lovely and well appointed with a spacious balcony, the breakfast was excellent with great choice, lovely staff and always well stocked.

The pool was quite cold and the area around the pool was quite crowded at times.

Breakfast was amazing, so much variety and food quality was very good. The lovely staff made my stay enjoyable, I would especially like to mention Stefania Alexandrov on reception. Steffi was very approachable, professional and went the extra mile, to help me, as my situation was difficult as my husband had been taken seriously ill and was operated on in Arrecife general hospital. I had to move hotels from Playa Blanca to Costa Teguise to be closer to him. Steffi was so kind and thoughtful towards me, and gave me good advice to help me and reassure me. When my husband was discharged just a few days ago, Steffi called us a taxi and told us about Playa Blanca where our next apartment is. We would have liked to remail in Barcelo Teguise Beach Hotel but it was full. I felt I had a friend in Steffi, which I badly needed during this very stressful time. Also I did find every staff member I came in contact with, to be very approachable and professional and friendly.

I did have one set of neighbours who were very noisy at night, but that was not the fault of the hotel.

Outstanding food with plentiful breakfasts and incredible dinners. Every meal was generous and exceptionally tasty, complemented by fast and efficient service. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh linens and towels provided every day. The staff were always smiling and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable.The island is easy to explore by rental car, featuring many charming spots and attractions.

The only issue was with the sunbeds by the pool, which were always reserved early in the morning, with towels laid on them but no one actually using them. However, that's more of a people problem – guests will always find ways to be resourceful. On two occasions, the evenings were disrupted by partying that lasted until the early morning, without any intervention or warning from the staff.

Happy good vibes, staff helpful and more than happy to help, little offerings around the pool and classes very good touch, clean tidy and well kept in all area's, enjoyed our stay, upgraded to include evening meal at a good price, loved the spa and entertainment.

The evening man in charge of the dining personal walking around with a very angry face and scowling at his staff, slightly off putting, as a vegetarian a little more choice perhaps, a vegetarian pizza as well as meat for example,although this can be hard to do to prevent waste. these are not negative comments as I enjoyed my stay very much, just suggestions. Terrific value for money - I had a deluxe room for single person, with breakfast and dinner. Honestly the best value ever. My room was a street view but that didn't bother me. Upgrade to pool or sea I'm sure is very nice Great location. Right by the beach, shops and restaurants. Parking nearby, free but not that easy to find a spot. If you like swimming this is the place for you. A long and cool pool (40m+) for many lengths. Room was good, clean also. Good Coffee machine and safe (I got it free - nice receptionist) Food good at breakfast and a good dinner buffet with plenty of food options and changed up daily. Nice wine too :)

Gym was ok - not the best or the worst hotel gym. Pillows were synthetic, sorry but I like fluffy and pref down :). Sheets were ok, maybe synthetic too? Either way, the bed was Ok not the best or the worst.
