Easy check in at Cafe Rollo Very clean and well laid out room with incredible view of the Cathedral. A fantastic ambience ,you are surrounded by cafes and places to eat in narrow lanes to open tree filled squares. A small juliette balcony and floor to ceiling doors gave an uninterrupted view of the fantastic facade of the Cathedral de Granada.
Although the room had double glazing there was a slight issue later of noise as the square is a focus for people on the warm evenings . There were minimum cooking ie micro but to be honest this was not a issue for us as we were not cooking . Why would you with so much amazing choices basically and literally on your doorstep !

The decor of the room was lovely. I liked the ambient lighting. The fridge and microwave were very useful. It was clean and spacious. It had a beautiful view of the cathedral and a good central location. We could adjust the heating well. Granada is a beautiful city.
Could have used a good floor lamp in the seating area for reading. A dish cloth/tea towel would be useful. The size of the shower was ridiculously small. Maybe make the check in procedure at Rollo more obvious in the communications. I did see it mentioned when I went back and looked, but it also mentioned a Lio’s ( no idea where that was) and that Rollo didn’t accept late check ins. It was a fluke that we just happened to stop there to enquire and made the connection to get in. Maybe let people know how noisy it can get outside, but it was entertaining!

Location was excellent right in the middle of everything. Close to bus stops mini market, real market and good eateries. Staff were really friendly and very efficient. They provided the bare minimum in the kitchen but good toiletries in the bathroom. Places should have condiments and a small washing up scrubber/cloth so you can tidy afterwards. How about leaving a bottle of water in the room. It costs cents. A good stay for 2 nights right in the heart of Granada.
The set up and close down of all the cafes surrounding the plaza in the morning and at night. Could someone invest in a set of wheels instead of dragging everything? If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. In the room an additional heater would be good in the winter months. The air con on heat never reached temperature so kept it's fan on the whole time. Saying that it did warm up and was cosy stay for one person. I think it would be a bit tight for my husband, certainly in the dinky bathroom.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it enough! The location is unbeatable—right opposite the main entrance of the stunning Cathedral of Granada, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. A special mention goes to Gertruda at the reception, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She provided fantastic travel tips and shared valuable local information that made my visit even more enjoyable. Her recommendations truly enhanced my experience. Overall, a fantastic stay in a perfect location with excellent service!
Instructions to check in to the hotel could be improved by stating clearly to contact the restaurant staff when the reception is not attended.

Spacious and bright room-apartment, with view on the Cathedral. Everything is furnished with fine taste and perfectly clean. Great care of details. The owners and staff were friendly and ready to answer to all requests. I fully recommend this place. We loved it!!
At night one can hear people from the street talking (and sometimes shouting). I guess this is normal in historical buildings, but it is something to be mentioned (ear-plugs quickly solve this minor problem). For the rest, everything was perfect!!

It is a lovely, clean hotel next to the huge and beautiful cathedral, in a large, popular plaza. LOTS of restaurants and bars. It is a great location for people who want to go out at night to mix with the locals and experience the true lifestyle of the Spanish.
Cars are not allowed near the cathedral & plaza. The taxi had to drop me off and I had to walk with my luggage a couple of blocks. The hotel is on the main plaza so there was a lot of noise of people talking, laughing and eating until after 1am. But, that is the Spanish lifestyle…a nocturnal country.

The location is great. Right on one of the main plazas but very quiet at night. The apartment was comfortable with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. It was like a hotel in that you could request daily maid service. The staff downstairs were extremely helpful and sad someone was always there or next door at Rollo cafe to help out. I was on the top floor and there is an elevator A short walk to most destinations. Even the Alhambra can be walked to. Breakfast can be bought at Rollo next door. Altogether a great stay.
At first I didn’t like that the kitchen can’t be used for cooking, although you can make coffee and tea. But management had made that clear in their ad. So not a negative if you are aware of that upfront.

The view was surreal. Location was perfect if you want to be in the heart of things. I enjoyed it because I ALWAYS travel with noise canceling headphones and still got a wonderful night sleep despite all the action!
Only that my room didn’t have a couch to sit on but that’s just wishful thinking.

This was an awesome place in Granada, we booked four nights and decided to stay another three. We had a room that overlooked the Cathedral and it was perfect, on our first night there was a free symphony orchestra show in front of the cathedral and we had the best seats in the place by sitting inside our own rooms. It was a once in a lifetime experience. The room itself is clean with a small kitchenette, the bathroom was a bit on the small side but everything worked perfectly. The owner and his wife was super friendly and very helpful. There is a small coffee shop across the road and a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel, both are owned by the owners of the hotel. The place is very centrally located and you can walk everywhere, take the bus up to the Alhambra and have a nice stroll back to the hotel. I can highly recommend the hotel.

Great location - our room looked over the cathedral square. Really close to all the sights + lots of places to eat and drink. Really helpful staff and very responsive. We were able to leave our bags after checking out. Would highly recommend!
Because it was so central and we stayed over a weekend there was some noise from people in the street. It didn't spoil our stay in the least but take earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
