Location was great and hotel looks out on to a large square. Lovely roof top terrace with shade and sun loungers. Beautiful old buidling. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Nice lounge and bar areas. Loved the large shower. Room very spacious and beautifully light, looked out on to roof terrace. Good to be offered fresh eggs and bacon at breakfast. Lady preparing it was so very helpful.

Light next to my husband's side of the bed was broken when we arrived and no one came to fix it even though he asked at least twice. Safe did not work reliably and again we asked for it to be fixed but although someone apparently looked at it we could not rely on it.

The hotel is situated in the old town a few minutes walk from the station. It’s close to historic sites and there are many bars and restaurants close by. Staff were warm and welcoming and spoke a number of languages. The hotel is housed within the walls of a traditional building and the ground floor reflects its heritage. There are a couple of attractive and comfortable lounges , a breakfast space as well as a secure reception area to be found here. Our bedrooms was modern and stylish with lots of light permeating the building through a cleverly designed atrium. The was ample open storage and plenty of space within our room. Our tv had limited international options. We had a comfortable bed with good quality pillows bedding and towels that were refreshed daily. The bath room was very well designed and the shower powerful and warm. Breakfast is available but not taken by us, as there are many coffee shops adjacent to meet our tiny breakfast needs. We both enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this moderately priced lovely hotel.

Tea/coffee making facilities in room for early morning drinks would be welcome.

Beautiful hotel, staff were great and check in very easy, they contact you before with details and requesting information which makes it easier. Short (10 minute) walk from train station. Close to historic centre. Rooms are spotlessly clean with good facilities. Breakfast was great.

The room was a bit dark, and window opened into an internal courtyard which wasn’t a problem, just didn’t allow for much natural light. The roof terrace was lovely, just such a shame the little pool was not in use ☹️

Compact and nice very efficient use of space and quaint setup of rooftop and separate sitting areas for relaxation. Staff top notch and breakfast offerings is more than expected. Location is perfect you can walk and explore all landmarks and local tapas places.

Not the property but some guests may not realize marble flooring and stairwell generates loud sound with furniture pulling upstairs and heavy footsteps. Bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to loud noises or requests top floor. There’s elevators.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and made such a fuss of our 9 month old baby girl. The beds were very comfortable. The location was brilliant. Just outside are two cafes and a children's park which our little one loved. Within two minutes, you were in the town centre. Paid parking was close by too. The receptionist was very kind and allowed me to borrow her phone charger as I had forgotten to take mine with me (was secretly hoping the phone ran out of battery so I didn't have to answer it 😂) The room was bigger than we expected too so very good value for money.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very central and is a beautiful old house. It has been well maintained and tastefully decorated. Our room was lovely and had excellent air conditioning. The bathroom was roomy and it had a shower cubicle with a good shower. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The option to have bacon and eggs was a bonus.

We were in a room over the street and it was very noisy late at night, despite closing the shutters and wearing ear plugs. Rooms at the back would be quieter.

Stayed twice in a couple of weeks, great rooms both times - one in the gallery above the breakfast area, the other opening out on the roof terrace (A3), which was a little more old-fashioned in its decor but a great location. Breakfast is nicely done - eggs and bacon on request, plus the buffet - and you're right around the corner from the market and centre of town, and less than 10 minutes from the train station. I'd absolutely stay here again.

The location was perfect. Very walkable. We walked from the train station (we have carry on). We had the junior suite on the top floor. No views but very quiet. We didn’t have the breakfast. It had a small kitchen with fridge. We did miss getting up and making a cup of coffee for ourselves. We were well looked after. A fabulous stay.

Lovely roof terrace. Ideally located; just a short walk from the centre and only 10 mins from the bus station. I front of a busy little square, popular with local families. Hotel has been really well refurbished with a dern fell but retaining features of the old building. Breakfast niceand relaxed as it is a small hotel.

Air con was not working; maybe it is not normally needed in November, but nights still warm for us British!

Lovely traditional features of the hotel. I loved walking around its quaint and authenticly decorated rooms. Beds comfortable, Air-conditioning great. Good shower. Rooftop terrace was a relaxing area with a small pool to cool in. Breakfast was also very good. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. All in all, it is a very relaxing and beautiful hotel.

No tea/coffee making facilities in room. This is our only negative in an otherwise perfect stay.
