La Granja is a beautiful small village near Segovia and the mountains. The Parador is in a great location. We ordered a superior room and we got a HUGE room in the corner of the building, so we had 4 (openable) windows. so we had great light and air. The bed is super big and comfortable. The bathroom is huge with a shower and a bath. Parking - a very convenient public parking behind the building. Nice Tea & coffee corner in the room with fresh dessert every day!

Minor issues: 1. Breakfast - I wish there were some fresh vegetables for breakfast. 2. It's a pity that in such a huge room the toilets are inside the bathroom / or there's only one toilet. It could have been nice to have two.

It’s a really spectacular property, very updated and with large, comfortable rooms. The spa is amazing! Especially the hydro massage circuit. I had booked 2 standard rooms for my birthday celebration with my parents and the rooms they gave us were like suites.

Food at the cafeteria wasn’t good and rather pricey. Maybe better lighting in the rooms would be nice, although I am a fan of subdued lighting myself. Also, would have enjoyed watching Netflix on the TV, but no streaming channels available.

The staff were very helpful booking a taxi to take us to Segovia, and gave me moral support when I was having difficulty checking in online for my flight back to London. They also gave useful advice about the nearby royal palace in San Ildefonso which is well worth visiting.

The mirror in the bedroom wasn't very conveniently placed.

We loved the location, steps away from the Royal Palace of La Granja. The historic building and its renovation are wonderful too. Our room was very spacious, overlooking the restaurant terrace. We enjoyed the swimming pool and a delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend if you visit La Granja de San Ildefonso!

- At the breakfast buffet the staff was directly touching food items with their fingers to rearrange it. We decided to not go there anymore for the following days. - Though the hotel location is great, the town is pretty empty outside of the season or the weekend. Luckily, there was a baroque market street fair while we were there. If you want more activities or food options I recommend staying in Segovia and make a day trip to San Ildefonso instead.

There was a lot of space in the room, with 2 independent areas, which was perfect for us. The parador is very well located, just a few minutes' walk from the Royal Palace and gardens.

Some of the furniture in the room was old and 'tired', and painted an unattractive grey.

Such a wonderful and charming property!! It is so nice to stay at a hotel that has history and was not overhauled to be cookie-cutter. The breakfast was very worth it with warm food made to order, a highlight I was not expecting!

The location, though great to visit the area around is not very well connected to the train station nor to Segovia central town. A hotel of this caliber should have some options available for its guests ahead of time to avoid them the worry and headache. That said, they did help get a taxi when asked!

From arrival to departure, David, was exceptionally helpful. There are two sections to the Parador complex and one was for conventions. David quickly resolved the problem of locating the correct location. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended

There was little to fault and much to commend

Good location, nice historical building, nice surroundings and nice room.

Room faceing to the town was noisy and we had to close the window and put aircondition, which we don't like. We were missing a coffee machine in the room.

This hotel was just great. The facilities were special, breakfast was great, staff was informed, helpful and very nice. The rooms were huge and we loved staying at this hotel. Good start to explore Segovia and La Granja and the multiple highlights to visit.
