The location of the hostel is excellent and even though it's right in the city centre, you cannot hear noise from the traffic outside. The room had everything I needed. If there was a kettle, it would be even better. Of course, as said in other reviews, you can hear noise from the hallway when someone passes your room. But I expected it and it wasn't that bad afterall. I only had some trouble sleeping the first night because it was quite busy, but the next nights were really quiet and I didn't hear anyone. I must also say the staff was very helpful and attentive. When I'm in Madrid next time, I'll definitely book a room here again.

Location was amazing, it’s super secure and safe and the staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was very clean and modern. The hotel is on floor 4 of a big building. The doors to the building are locked at 10pm but you just ring the bell and there is security who comes to let you in when you show your room card and it was very easy. You need this card to access the hotel as well (reception closes at 10pm) and for your room. It made me feel very safe knowing how many security points there were. Location is on the main strip and so close to public transport and restaurants so was perfect.

The floors are very squeaky so you can easily hear others going back to their rooms during the night. There also wasn’t a remote for the aircon (might not even have been aircon) which didn’t bother me as it wasn’t too warm but something to be aware of.

Lovely small hostel in the very central area of Madrid. Close to the Prado and the lovely squares, shopping and restaurants. Hostel was clean, room is fairly spacious considering so central. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Great suggestion for getting breakfast around the corner, typical spanish breakfast at reasonable prices.

Rooms are not so soundproof so really you can hear all the other guests, so consider for more than a night may be a bit difficult if neighbours are noisy.

The location was very central, within walking distance to almost everything. The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. Overall, the room was clean and well maintained, which made our stay comfortable.

However, the walls were quite thin and we could clearly hear conversations and bathroom noises from the neighboring rooms, which affected the comfort a bit.

The location... amazing, also decoration very cosy you feel like home. Amin walking to metro station Grand via, and less than 5 min walking to main animated areas, either for shpoping, restaurants, coffee shops and plazas. There was double glazing which is good because even looking on the main street "Gran Via", when you close window/balcony, the noise is completely reduced. Room was cleaned everyday what I did really appreciate. And commom areas are quite and clean.

Maybe bathroom too tiny as it is a double room, even if for me as solo traveler it was okay. Also it would be amazing if there was a hair dryer. But to be honest everything was amazing, I loved my stay and would absolutely back as I visit frequently Madrid

We stayed for one night, before we went back home, and it was the perfect location for shopping, in the grand via street. Although the place is a bit difficult to find, since it’s located in the 4th floor of the building, but it is not a big deal, you’ll find it. The place was very clean, smelled fresh, the owners were so friendly and welcoming, we even arrived a bit earlier than the check-in time but they were very helpful and managed to provide us with the room as soon as possible.

The room we were allocated was very cosy, on the smaller side I'd say but it wasn't an issue for us as we were out most of the time. The location is superb, the host was very kind and allowed us to check in earlier which I really needed after a long flight. The cleaning was good and the lighting and bathroom was good too! Thank you!

A lovely place to stay in Madrid. With authentic atmosphere and charm of the building and modern, comfortable, clean and cool interior. Located on one of the most famous boulevards in Madrid which makes the location perfect for midday quick break or just to leave your purchases without wasting much time. The staff is super helpful. All of them. I am super thankful to the lady from the reception desk and the family couple from the staff. They all took extra care to fulfil a personal request I had. Very kind people. I do appreciate their professionalism and willingness to make each guest’s stay in the place pleasant and comfortable. The view was great as well!

Great single room with private bathroom and a little closed terrace near Gran Via Plaza, all the main sites were nearby in close walking distance. I barely used buses or subways, perfect location. Clean, comfortable room and bathroom with 24 hour lobby security for safety and check in. Room was small/cosy but sufficient for a single traveler. Heating worked amazingly. Daily housekeeping was great too. Great value for money. He lady at reception was super friendly and helpful with information on tours, public transport and general recommendations. Truly enjoyed my stay.

The walls were thin so every now and then you could hear the people in next room if they were talking loudy, however mostly guests were respectful and wasnt too much noise. Beside that the hostal itself was lovely and quiet. A bit of squeaky floors and doors opening and closing in other rooms but this didnt bother me too much. No road noise despite being on a busy main road due to soundproofed door between the room and terrace and soundproof windows. None of the above bother me too much to be honest, i loved the place. It would have been nice to have some sort of tea/coffee station, there was none in room, also to mention that this hostal also has no common areas except couches in reception area, this also didnt bother me too much but I thought i would mention.

Small, cosy hostal, very clean, centrally situated in Gran Vía, near the metro station, shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff, Nicole and Coco, are wonderful and very friendly people, always there to help you. On my next visit... this is where I want to stay.
