The location

I got scammed!!! The receptionist said I need to pay 40rm for an upgrade room but when I paid and got into the room, it’s the same as my booking 🤦🏻‍♂️ she got 40 euro cash for free. I went to look for her but she’s not there and the other receptionist said “I’m not sure”. Both were girls, a skinny and a chubby one. The chubby one scammed me.

Our room was lovely with plenty of space and a very comfy bed and our Romeo and Juliet balcony gave us a perfect view of Grand Via. Our room also had tea and coffee making facilities. The location was perfect, very easy to navigate around this beautiful city. The staff were very helpful, even helping me hotspot my kindle so I could download some books. The breakfast was really good, lots of choice and variety, and eating breakfast on the terrace was a lovely way to start the day. The rooftop bar and pool was a very relaxing space with amazing views of the city. Oh and let's not forget the glass of champagne on arrival. Top pick for tapas - Mercado de san Miguel, you can wander around with your glass of wine while you select your tapas.🍷

Only one chair in the room, two would be better so you didn't need to sit on the bed. Water was not replenished, needed to go to reception to have the bottle refilled.

Amazing location. Location right on Gran via and adjacent to different metro stations; Chueca, etc. The room decor is really nice and warm. Nothing too fancy but everything is practical and simple. The mattress and bed linen feels very comfortable! Don’t need worry about noice outside. I stayed during the Pride weekend. Super packed on Gran via but yon won’t hear anything when windows are shut. There is a 24 hours super market just cross the street.

The pool time. Not sure why close so early. 3 hours before the sunset…. If the pool time can be relaxed, the area won’t be so crowded .

The hotel is in a great location on Gran Via. We easily walked to Chueca, Plaza Mayor, Sol, Templo Debod, and Malasana. The metros are nearby as well. The hotel has the best Wifi that I have ever had in a hotel with speeds over 100. Despite being on a major street, the room was really quiet. It appeared that they had soundproof windows. The staff were all really nice and spoke very good English. We had breakfast one day and the food was really good but didn't care for the coffee. There is a small breakfast place nearby that we went to often, Oskar. There is a supermarket nearby called Dia, where you can get wine or snacks for your room. If you want ice in the hotel, you will need to go to the rooftop bar and ask for a bucket of it. We loved exploring the neighborhoods of Madrid and taking a free walking tour.

They didn't give us a card on how to work the TV so we didn't know how to connect Netflix or Hulu for the first three days. After asking at the desk, they gave us a card which helped for a day but then the device (Chromecast or something else) broke, we were without any English TV most of the trip. They provided us with a free breakfast and drinks one night. This was one unfortunate thing on the trip that could have made it excellent.

I'm not sure if this happened before, but it looks like The hotel has some problems with the air conditioner system We have to move to another room. 2 days before the end of our stay because our AC stopped working We were moved to a bigger room with a big sofa we considered too big for the room when 2 sofa chairs and 1 coffee table they would have been better and more useful The other thing is the lack of privacy in the bathroom. In our case, we were a couple, but sometimes not only couples travel together or someone visits you at the hotel and needs to use the bathroom They are only details that do not prevent us from returning, but we consider it important to let you know Thanks

Location is more than perfect, especially for the first time visitors. The rooms are designed uniquely. There is enough space in the room for our staff.

We booked a room with city view and paid extra. But our view was just an other apartment which is so near; we had to close our curtains all the time.

Great hotel - it looks very nice and modern. The staff is great and is always there to help. Our room had a Gran Via view and it was a lot quieter than we expected! The room is quite big which we appreciated. It's walking distance to restaurants and main attractions, and it was quite easy to get there from Atocha. Breakfast was wonderful! There's a great selection of cereals + milks for sweet breakfast, and eggs/meat/vegetables/bread for savory breakfast. If you get lucky with the table, you can also have a wonderful view! This was definitely the best hotel breakfast I've had so far.

The close the pool so early Madrid is super hot. In summer time all the hotels in the area close the pool after 9 pm they close. 6:30 pm.

The location of the hotel is super central which makes it walkable distance to almost everything in the central area (we even walked to Salamanca). The staff is very attentive and helpful. They've addressed all of our needs immediately and were very kind. Special thanks to the cleaning team (Jessica) for ensuring the highest standards for cleanliness and also for the amazing attention to detail. We were drinking only single type of tea which would be challenging to stop among the many options provided but she did notice and was making sure to provide it every day. Thank you for your services and would love to come back in the future!
