Location is perfect, staff is helpful, very clean room, great view and the breakfast on the skybar was great. The price was fair and we did enjoy our stay despite some of the inconveniences, and we do recommend it.

They didn't swap our towels, despite putting them on the floor as requested on the room guidebook, and when they finally took those used towels they didn't provide new, clean ones. They didn't replenish our bottle of water in our room. They only cleaned up the room when we put the required note on the bed, which purpose was originally meant to only be "switch out the bedsheets". Also for some reason one of us always had runny nose when we were in our room, some cleaning tool may have caused an allergic reaction. However, overall these didn't cause a lot of issue, since we didn't make a mess in the room so the occasional lack of cleaning wasn't a big issue for us.

This is a very good hotel in an excellent location. it is on the Gran Via, directly across from Callao metro stop, making it accessible to reach and for setting out either on foot or metro to explore Madrid. (For info, the door is not easy to spot, as it's a small entrance No 44 that contains a number of hotels on various floors). The hotel is on the 7th floor accessed by an elevator that is a little slow and small, but fine. The room was a very good size, and good bathroom facilities, and very good wifi. Breakfast is located on the 10th floor, and has an amazing view. I was there in December, so it was too cold to eat outside, but in the warmer weather it would be a great location. The breakfast itself was good, but a little limited, but the price was excellent value. Being on the Gran via, it is a little noisy, but not excessively. I would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast is good, but you basically choose one of six options. You only get one cup of coffee and one cup of juice, which I thought needlessly mean. I had omelette each day, which was totally fine. The elevator is small and slow, which may be a problem for some. Aside from checking in and out I used the stairs, which were fine.

This hotel is in a very good spot. Few steps to everything. From dining to shopping to bus stops and metro station, it is very accessible. A quick 5-min walk to SOL too, where most of walking tour's meeting point. It is so centrally located that you may have the option to do a siesta (especially during summer when the heat is unbearable), or in-between day breaks to drop those shopping bags. The breakfast area too at the rooftop had a nice view of Madrid.

Basic needs are met.

The balcony view was AMAZING, the room was very clean and had 2 twin beds which were prefect for me and my friend it had a walk in shower so the shower was spacious, we had no issues with hot water, check in was easy and the staff was super friendly and helpful! The room was spacious and perfect for us and honestly, I wish I had stayed here when I arrived instead of the more expensive Airbnb I had for the first leg of my trip as this had everything we needed, you can't beat the location it is on the 7th floor, but they have an elevator!! ALSO, there is also a rooftop bar 2 floors up!! (SKY BAR) with AWESOME views, great drinks and the staff was also super friendly, and they also have a full menu and now that I found this little gem I know I will be back, and I would recommend. The room was very clean, but the cleaner/ deodorizer they used was very strong when we walked in the room, we opened the balcony doors when we left for dinner, and it helped and was fine

The hotel is on an old property on one of the top floors. The room is comfy enough,with heatimg (although not on on the mornings, despite being very cold in November). The bathroom is clean and decent. The breakfast is on the rooftop, but not enough places, you may have to sit on the open rooftop terrace, which is cold. But the breakfast itself is good, some set dishes and fruit. Location is fab as makes up for any other issues. I'd book again, so recommend!

Excellent location, bedroom with an amazing view over Callao. On the same building there is a terrace bar, also interesting. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The possibility to leave our luggage in a locker at a very reduced price is an excellent option for backpacking tourists. WIth the offer we got from Booking, this hotel was great value for money.

Nothing in particular. The room gets a bit hot during the day, but it is normal as it is rather small and has a big window.

Excellent location and very easy to access. Comfortable for families with kids and it was a bonus to have a restaurant on the roof.

Would like to have a cleaner shower and more things like moisturizer and shower conditioner.

Great location, fantastic breakfast with a view. Room small but sufficient. Five Guys downsairs is a plus for late night food. In the building there are many hostels, each flor accommodates one or two of different brands so make sure you know what is the name and floor location of yours.

Elevator is a nightmare. Rooms were at 8th floor and we used elevator only once, then it was broken all the time, and broke with people in.

So close to everything and room size was good for 3 people with a nice balcony view of callao. The hostal let us leave the baggage even before checkin (althought before arriving i tried contacting them because i wasnt sure if we can leave the baggage prior checkin but it was imposible. Thankfully it wasnt a problem)

There was only one elevator for the whole building and many floors are hostals so it was very slow and cramped. At first the room smelled like cleaning product but i guess thats a sign that they cleaned before letting us in.

The location of this hotel is just awesome: on Gran Via and only two blocks from Puerta del Sol. Having breakfast on a terrace overlooking Madrid's skyline was priceless. The elevator is old and slow, but there is actually one!

The room size could have been bigger and better value for money.
