The place didn't look encouraging on the outside since it's a shared building with other businesses. But once inside, it's a whole other experience. It's so clean, smells fresh, great facilities, fast WiFi, and an amazing view of the Gran Via centre. To make it better, right outside there's a metro station and about half a minute walk to a bus stop. I didn't expect daily room cleaning since it's a hostel, but we got it and with more fresh towels than we needed. It was amazing really. Can't complain, great value for the money we paid. (We were three in number) It was perfect for us and we didn't find any trouble moving around. Highly recommend 👌

We had a bit of trouble locating the place because the signpost is so tiny, and we couldn't get hold of anyone using the phone number online. So a bit more work needed there. Other than that, all was okay.

Location was excellent, close to the metro and all local attractions. Good breakfast w/amazing views of the city

The shower was not functioning properly and it wasn’t so clean, you can smell the dust in the bed. There was only one functioning elevator that can carry 4 people, so there was always a line to go to the 8th floor where we were staying (not the property’s fault but still a downsize when you come tired from walking all day)

I've seen mixed reviews about the hostels at this location, but I can definitely say it just takes a bit of patience to understand how everything works and you'll have an excellent room at an unbeatable location. So just make sure you know in which floor is the lobby/reception for this hostel, which is different from where the rooms are, I think it was in the 8th floor and the rooms in the 7th floor. Yes, the elevator gets crowded but in the worst case it will take you around 5 minutes to go up, and to go down I would just take the stairs or wait for the elevator as needed, it might take up to 10 minutes if it's quite busy. But that is nothing if you got a good offer for the price, the view and location is great, and the rooms are new.

It would be a good idea for them to actually replace the small instructions they have on how to get to the lobby and make sure to put them visible and in English. Everything else is good.

Location and the accomodation are perfect. Room is small but lovely. It's very nicely and modernly designed and decorated. Room was cleaned every day so the apartment and the hostel are very clean. The room has a mini fridge and you get conplimentary coffe and bottle of water. On the rooftop is a very nice bar.

Poor noise isolation so you can hear everything happening on the street whole night. There are only two slow and small elevators for the whole building un which are several hostels and bars. But we were lucky enough we never gad to wait long for them

AMAZING location and view. It's just directly in the Gran Via! The price is exceptional for the location. I was definitely amazed by the room and how great it was. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I was waiting for something not as good given how cheap it was.

Old and slow elevator. Only one for many hostels in the same building. Not the best service in the front desk, something that definitely could be improved. Check in is too late in the afternoon and check out is too early in the morning.

great location for all walking tours of the town. Metro station accross the street. Fantastic view from the breakfast room (skyview restaurant), also: a nice selection of breakfasts. The reception staff was great,, but it can get quite busy around 1100 when people are checking in, leaving bags, and there are new arrivals, also leaving bags. that can take a while.

the elevator in the building is really slow, better take the staircase (7th floor!)

The hostel is located in the city centre on the 8th floor and I wanna say that it's perfect combination. I've seen a lot of negative comments related to the elevator, come on... you can easily use the stairs.) One more advantage is a breakfast zone that located on the 10th floor with the amazing view of Madrid 😃. The menu has different options.

The hostel doesn't have soundproofing, so you will definitely wake up when your neighbours will talk and listen to music in the corridor... After taking the shower you will collect the water by the towel around the cabin.. And the last but most important for me is a lack of cotton case to cover a blanket. You will have the blanket which is covered by 2 bed sheets as minimum it's uncomfortable and as maximum unhygienic.

The room was clean, it had all the facilities that I needed, plus an amazing view over the city. The staff was polite and nice, I had every morning a delicious breakfast on the rooftop and the location is very central. I'm very satisfied with what I got. 😊

I thicker blanket would have made the staying perfect. During the night it got cold and the bed cover didn't helped a lot. But that's a minor inconvenience.

For the price the room had adequate space, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean and a good shower. The breakfast was nice and the roof terrace was a lovely place to enjoy it.

Only having one lift for the building just meant you often had to wait a while to use it, otherwise a lot of stairs!!!

The elevator is too small for 10 floors and many tourists going also to other hostals in same building, you need to be able to use stairs up and down or wait for long time. I also understand the building is old but could be in better stetic conditions and cleaner.
