The staff team is very good. they are very supportive and attentive to my questions if there is a lift as I was traveling with a 77 years old mom. They placed us in the Junior suite by the reception which makes it easy for my mom with minimum walking needed and we could ask for assistance / advice whenever needed. There is a coffee machine and micorwave at my level which makes it easy for us to pack home when my mom felt too tired to do out for meal. The staff are very hospitable and helpful. The location is just next to metro which makes it easy for my mom , just 1 min away. It makes a great diff between a 7 mins walk to train station (which we did stay before moving to Woohoo) vs 1 min. The rooms are modern and clean, with shampoo cum shower gel and conditioner provided. it is close to all the shops and restaurants so it is a very convenient place to stay. Love the stay. and there are 2 TV in the room with a door dividing the room so that the TV controller does not interfere with the other. would strongly recommend the hotel

Not the hotel's issue . The hotel is located at level 3 of an old building so the lift is the typical small lift that it stated for max 1 pax...but 3 person is ok i find.. but for family traveling together, you would have to split into 2 - 3 groups to send the luggages up / down.

Great location. Decent communication via whats app. They were able to have room available earlier than expected but they were willing to store luggage free of charge regardless which is very nice. Room next to the front desk had black out shades that made the room very dark and dulled some of the sounds from the square. Beds were comfortable recently renovated. The bunk beds were in separate area/room than the bedroom with door between so some privacy for teens and the adults. You had to go through the bunk bed room to get to the bathroom. Bathroom modern. Nice use of space buy very tight for 2 people in bathroom. Location was key. It was close to everything you want to see in Madrid as a tourist coming for limited time. There is energy to that part of Madrid.

No coffee maker but they did provide heating pot to make instant coffee and tea. The lobby very very small essentially a desk in a hallway. The lobby is also on the 3rd floor... so have to go into the building through a common hallway go up 3 flights of spiral type of stair case. There is elevator but tight for 3 people; can fit one person with luggage. He took the stairs with our hand carry bags. It was not a quite room... the bunk bed "room" was rather quiet. No conditioner or lotion complimentary.. They just proved hand soap, body soap and shampoo. They did provide 4 water bottles for us to use.

I looked for a long time to find something that would work for my family on our recent trip to Spain. We spent the last 2 nights in Madrid and had an excellent experience at Woohoo (and plenty of laughs about the name!) The apartment is just steps off the Puerta del Sol, so literally in the middle of the action, especially the week before Christmas! The plaza was rocking but thankfully 🙏 the place was well sound-proofed. We could still hear some noise but not enough to disturb our sleep, with the exception of sirens or alarms that we occasionally heard. The rooms were simple but had everything we needed: Comfortable beds, full bathroom, very nice lighting, a mini-fridge, safe, tea kettle, storage. We came in very late so we never met any of the staff, but the communication on both booking.com and WhatsApp was amazing. They were always very quick to respond and very clear with all instructions and info. After our 1st night I sent a request for more pillows, and someone was at my door to drop them off in minutes! As other reviewers have mentioned, the elevator is very small (2 people and 2 suitcases max) BUT we were thankful there was any elevator, as our accommodation in Sevilla was a 4th floor walk up. NO fun with heavy suitcases! We loved our Woohoo experience and would definitely stay in a Woohoo accommodation again.

There is nothing we didn't like!

The location is amazing, so convenient to go for the food or shopping. As it’s just right next to the Sol Plaza. The facility in room is also very well prepared, everything u need is in the room, they even prepare a small gift. Also, the shower and the bed is very comfortable too.

The sound insulation needs to get improve, as I can heard the children laughter in the early morning from the room next to me when I’m sleeping. Also, if someone is speaking loudly in the corridor, I can hear clearly in my room.

Location is excellent near Sol. Underground metro is very close. The room isn’t huge but adequate. Lovely walk in shower. On the 3 rd or 4 th floor via a-dinky little elevator-enough room for 2 suitcases and 1 person. Otherwise it is the stairs. Lovely staff tho didn’t always seem to be at reception. Electronic key entry. Lovely aircon as it was quite warm on our visit. Very close to lots of shops and also a good walk to the Mercado san Miguel. Yummy tapas there. Very comfy bed and reasonably quiet being sooo close to the plaza. Soaps and towels supplied.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was excellent. It was clean, private, and excellent value for money. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Nothing at all. The fact it doesn't have breakfast/dinner facilities is irrelevant. Food and drink are easily within walking distance. A taxi cannot get you to the door as the area is pedestrianised; it is only a minor issue if it is raining. Otherwise, it is a great way to arrive via the Plaza Sol (a very short walk).

The property is very centrally located - easy walk to everywhere. Also the Plaza has some really nice shops and restaurants, some of them over a 100 years’ old (like the famous cafe/ bakery that serves cakes and pastries). The building is an old heritage building that’s been refurbished and retains its old world charm. The staff are really nice and helpful, making the stay memorable.

While the location is central, if you’re traveling with lot of luggage (as we were, given we were on a month long trip with family) getting the luggage from where the taxi drops off can be a little tricky.

Very near to Sol Metro Station. Very centralized. Lots of shopping and food options nearby. Bed is comfy. There is a microwave in the common area. Good hot shower pressure. Good staff service. Able to deposit luggage after check out time.

Only tea bags but no instant coffee were provided in the room. Poor sound proof. Loud noise from others walking and closing doors. Junior suite is bit small for 4 persons. Not enough space for opening luggages and comfortable movements. Bottled water is only provided once during our 4 nights stay. Only 2 hooks are available in the bathroom. Not able to hang 4 big towels and clothes.

Excellent convenient location right near Sol metro station and the big shopping square. Public transport is all nearby. It is a pedestrian shopping area so cars can’t enter but you can walk easily from where a taxi could drop you off. The hotel was clean, modern and quiet. The rooms are not big but it’s reasonable for inner city in a European country. The elevator is tiny though. Staff was lovely and helpful.

Very tiny elevator. Hard to fit more than 1 person and a suitcase in at a time. No direct car access so you do have to walk around 3-5 minutes to get to the nearest road which allows cars/taxis/Ubers.

The location is right in the center of Sol. We enjoyed our stay here, the bed is comfortable, the room is clean and the girls from reception are always smiling and willing to help. We also liked that we were able to leave our luggage there at the reception for the whole day, at checkout

Being an old building, the elevator is small and slow ( max 2 persons), but it's ok in the end for carrying your suitcases. Also the room is quite noisy from outside, but we assumed for the location. Still is quite expensive, without having breakfast or too many facilities.
