The location is excellent, situated in close proximity to the Sol metro station, with nearby shops and bars for convenience. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Each bed has a locker. If you do not have a lock, you can purchase one from a vending machine in the kitchen. Guests are provided with a wool blanket by default, but sheets and towels are available upon request for an additional fee of approximately €3. Access to the hostel is facilitated by a digital card system for the duration of your stay. The staff are very helpful and offer luggage storage after checkout, if needed. Late check-out is also available for an additional fee of about €6, payable in cash. The kitchen facilities include a kettle and microwave for cooking, as well as storage space in a refrigerator for any food or beverages.
During my stay at this location over the weekend, I observed that it was quite noisy. Therefore, for individuals who are sensitive to sound, I would advise bringing noise-cancelling earplugs.

Location is the best, in the middle of city centre
I got Private room and it's near to the bar, all night I hear people party and laugh because the wall is so thin. Also when you check outed, you cannot leave the languages for free, it's extra 5 Euros. In my room, wifi signal also weak.

I loved that the private rooms were on their own separate floor but I could still access the common spaces to socialize with other guests. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were also kept impeccably clean and the room itself was very comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the street below. The hostal is about a 2 minute walk from the Sol station and very well connected with all of the best that Madrid has to offer. I had an amazing stay and would definitely return the next time I'm in town.
I didn't dislike a single thing about my stay here.

I recently booked a friend room for two at this hostel, and for the most part, our experience was what you'd expect from a hostel stay. The accommodations were adequate, and the inclusion of a shared shower was standard.
The Wi-Fi was spotty at best, and there was a complete lack of mobile signal within the room. Essentially, stepping into the room meant being disconnected from the outside world. If you're looking to unplug completely, this might be an unintentional perk, but for those who need consistent connectivity, it's something to consider.

I liked the location and friendliness of the staff. Very helpful.. The rooms and the bathroom were clean.
I didn't like the fact that they asked me for my credit card number and put the details into their system, which I think is illegal. They said it was a guarantee in case I lose my key or damage sth. I was told that they mention it on the booking app, but it's not true.

Everything you could need, well equipped kitchen and small fridge in your room as well. Nice modern bathroom with lots of hot water. Only problem was the noise from the bars in the street that close at 0600. We did find turning aircon on helped us to sleep, certainly could not open window.
as stated noise in the street, not the Arc House itself.

I only spent one night at the Arc House in Madrid, but I got a good impression of it. It is a fairly spacious, clean hostel with comfortable common areas, friendly and accommodating staff, a kitchen and plenty of bathrooms and showers. The furnishings and finishes are not elaborate, everything is done with functionality and good taste, and you don't notice any deficiencies. It is located in Puerta del Sol, right in the epicentre of all social, cultural and commercial activities in Madrid, a point of great tourist appeal. The prices it charges are cheap, accessible even to the traveller with the most modest budget. It is not easy to run this type of hostel, the location and low prices attract the sort of clientele that, instead of using hostels as a mean to visit the world, to seek more permanent accommodation, work and better living conditions, to improve their education and culture without spending a fortune, spend their time instead in cheap bars and budget hostels, bringing nothing useful but their own mental mess. On the other hand, the Arc House in Puerta del Sol has a sober and tidy ambience, to great credit of those who work there, as they manage to maintain order and cleanliness, a tourist connotation of lodging which allows travellers to find a familiar environment, and a strong and vital identity that remains intact in spite of the continuous changes to which it is exposed due to structure, location and competition.

Everything was clean and location is key
Doesn’t have a proper kitchen (no oven, no kitchenette, just a microwave I stayed at room 11, you can hear everything from the street all day, trucks and people chatting in the morning, and it gets noisier at night as it’s placed in front of an Irish pub

There was a clean and elegant TV room. Also, the kitchen had a proper cooktop and refrigerator space.
Starting at 9:00 am, you could hear the noise of hammers and other construction machinery. It would go in late in the afternoon. Sure, it’s outside bedtime hours, but it is still annoying. Even if I’m not sleeping, it’s always good to have peace and quiet. Also, the window faced a busy but small street. I often heard pedestrians late at night. Sometimes, the garbage truck would come by and fill the room with the smell of fuel. Windows had to be closed! The mattresses were pretty uncomfortable.

The location was excellent, right in the center of Madrid and easy to see the main sights. The room was super clean, as well as the shared bathrooms and showers. The kitchen was also clean.
There is some noise from the street outside if you are light sleeper, but that is to be expected with the central location.
