Cesar, was truly wonderful. He saved my stay in Madrid and assisted me to get to my next location. My cellphone was locked without international service. All of my tickets were blocked and without the use of the Internet I could not access my tablet. Cesar figured out how to transfer the information to his phone then print my tickets. He also made sure I knew how to catch my train and how to connect to the bus service. Being miles from home, anxious about traveling solo, limited understanding of the Spanish language and unsure of my surroundings it was both a relief and heart felt to have such friendship extended to me from a person I had just met. Truly will always remember his kindness

I found the accommodations lovely. The single room was simple. At night I could open the window for a cool breeze. The sound of the locals enjoying the evening, music from the street performers and the birds in the morning was relaxing. Each night the white noise rocked me to sleep , each morning the day was greeted by birds and shops opening for the day. I read a review from another who found this to be aggravating. In the front room you will have this experience. It all depends on how you feel about background sound.

The hotel is right in the center of Madrid. Everything you would want to see is within walking distance. And if you do not fancy walking, the Metro station Sol is just around the corner. This also makes it easy to travel to and from the airport by metro. The staff is friendly and happy to help. furthermore there is always someone at the reception 24hrs a day . The hotel is located in a beautiful old building on the 4th floor. there is an elevator available to get to the hotel or alternatively a beautiful old wooden stairs that seems to be polished daily. You will receive a key to the entrance of the building, Entrance to the hotel and finally your room key. This makes The hotel feel like a safe place to stay as well. The room and hotel in general are very clean. My room was cleaned daily and i received new towels every day. The room is not big. but at the same time has everything you need. it has a decent shower. In addition to that the rooms have working air-conditioning (Full disclosure my stay was in the middle of January 2024. Consequently the ac was used sporadically on the heating mode. Because of that I can not attest if Ac the will cope in summer heat. But they do work and are in good condition). In my Opinion if you want to go out and explore the city it is all you will need.

Considering that the hotel is located in the lively center of Madrid it gets noisy outside during the evening(And to be fair this is to be expected in any big city) So my recommendation is to bring a good set of earplugs that are comfortable to sleep with(i think this is a good idea regardless of what hotel you visit).

Location was in the heart of the city with many bars and restaurants nearby. The hosts on both shifts we encountered them were very friendly and helpful. We liked that this hostel has private rooms with private bathroom. The host called a friend to pick us up to go to the airport.

The taxi driver didn't know how to get there and didn't know how to use GPS. He asked other taxi drivers in route but they didn't know or respond to him. I showed many times on the map how to get there and told if reference points but he got so frustrated that he dropped us off blocks from the hostel.

Location! It is just a 1-minute of walk from Sol. The hostel itself is located in a big building, on a separate floor with the reception open for 24 hours. The room is nice and clean, the bed is surprisingly very comfortable. Nice and helpful staff. Excellent value for money.

Air conditioner made some noise while working but it was not a big deal as it was not hot. There's no fridge and kettle but for such money it is absolutely ok, I think.

Location is in the heart of Madrid, 2 mins walk from sol metro stop. The room and the whole structure was super clean, reception H24 super friendly and they clean daily the room changing also towels if needed.

being a very central location sometimes you can hear people shouting in the middle of the road from the room

Excellent location! Kati and Saso (i think the name is correct) were very kind and helpful! Especially Kati, she makes you feel like home! Gracias for all the information and help! I would recommend including a mini fridge in the bedrooms, though.

It is a bit noisy at night because it is in the centre but still, excellent location!

Firstly, the staff are friendly. Mr Sésa welcomed us well and explained everything. I love the 24 hours reception availability. The location is just perfect, near to main atrraction. Room view is great. Bed is comfortable and bathroom is perfect comes with basic amenities. Nice interior of the hostel from main door to the room.

Hostal is beautiful. From the very start until the end you feel so welcomed and safe in any moment. Staff, all of them, is very helpful, smiling and trying to keep you happy and taken care of. It is very clean and comfortable. At the main Plaza but still peaceful to sleep. Very well connected with entire city. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The staff is always smiling. Giving you anything you might need, even more. Changing towels and even sheets daily if needed. I have to mention Cesar,, a kind person who is always there to help you with anything you might need. I felt like home away from home. This was my second time here in 7 months. I must also mention that this second time, I have asked for two things if they can provide in the very room, about the position of the room and the bathroom, and they really did so I am grateful for the kind atencion they have showed towards my wishes. I highly recommend this hostel to everyone and will be back for sure soon hopefully.. Thank you all for everything.

I really liked everything but sometimes in the future a small fridge and safe deposit box inside the room would be great and an extra plus even though you can, as I did, manage without it.

The location! Everything was walking distance. Airport bus from/to the airport was 10mins walk away and Only 3 stops. Staff very helpful!! Suggested a lot of things to do and places to visit/eat and drinks! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The room was very clean! The bed is firm could use a top mattres, but worked very well too. Plus they cleaned our room everyday🤩🤩🤩

Everything was perfect! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist us. They gave us great tips about the city and explained exactly how to get to the main attractions. Their support truly made a difference during our stay. Highly recommend!
