The best location in the city center, couple minutes to la puerta del SOL. Also public transport was close, that was too important for me, as I was at business trip. Friendly staff, ready to help you. Reception, working 24 hours. Buffet, that is also too important.

I would like to have some amenities to make tea or coffee in the evening, like a kettle, caps... It would be nice to have it in the room.

The location is fantastic. Super easy to walk everywhere. Great variety at breakfast in a nice location just a few seconds away from hotel. Would definitely stay here again due to the convenience and price. Staff were very helpful in arranging a taxi for us. Many sights and restaurants nearby.

The room had probably the smallest shower we've ever used - even after traveling in Europe for 7 years! if you are a large person, this will not work for you. The room itself is soundproof, but still ask to stay on top floor due to street noise that comes in through the windows. Madrid parties until the wee hours.

Location is fantastic, very central and easy to get to with all public transport. The are is pedestrian only. So there is zero road noise. View from the hotel is very authentic Spanish apartment. I was on the top floor and they have an elevator.

The bars don't close until 6AM some evenings which can be an issue if your a light sleeper, or like to wake up really early.

Location was fantastic. Good water pressure.

Small double bed (like 135cm). Not much sound proofing between floors. Nightclub bass audible until 5:30am. Don’t go to the restaurant “La Carmella” for breakfast (as recommended by hotel), probably the rudest service from the female waitress that I’ve ever experienced.

It is an old style hotel, but very comfortable, cozy, with an excellent breakfast. The staff’s are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, my room was in the back and silent. But I guess the front rooms could be noisy. I really like my stay there.

The room could have a coffee and tea set.

Great location, 1 minute walk to the center square of Madrid (Plaza Sol). The room that we have booked was upgraded free of charge. The neighborhood around is very lively and enjoyable especially at night. Breakfast very good with a lot of selection.

Rooms could have been a bit cleaner, but overall not too but, just a little dusty.

Location was perfect, room was kinda small but very tidy and clean. Overall, great balance price / quality for the dates I stayed at El Pasaje.

At night the door to the Hostal was behind a wall of trash cans, it's close to a couple of bars were parties and drunkards enjoy screaming at full lung... Sadly this filters into the rooms, :(. Also no amenities other than towels and soap.

Location is excellent. Staff was very accommodating when I asked for extra pillows, so thank you. Room is standard but I was very pleased to see a small refrigerator in the room too. I asked for a quiet room and I do believe they gave me one. :)

after we change our double room to studio without charge everythings change . its best location of madrid . you can reach every where by walk . good room cleaning very good breakfast and nice place in victoria hotel. very very good and helpfully staff .best location for night life .. always can find food near you .. many kind of super market is whitin 200 m .

some noisy at night . many bar and pub is around you . but it was so nice for me . our first room(double bed room) was soooooo small . bath room cabin of studio room was samll.

Great location, nice big room. FAST Wi-Fi was the most important part for me and they didn’t disappoint. The location is VERY central, you can get to anywhere from the hotel and it’s a minute walk to the SOL metro station! The reception staff is awesome!

The very good location also means a lot of noise at night, but that was to be expected
