Great location and good communication with the hosts. Beautiful big terrace and comfy beds great for a stop over for a night/few days you are right in the centre, lots of bars etc.

Nothing really maybe noise from street below but we were in the centre of busy district so to be expected. Didn't stop us having a good sleep.

I’m leaving this review to help fellow travelers and provide feedback for Sonder to improve their services. The good: • Excellent location – everything is nearby and easily accessible. • Spacious room – unlike many hotels, it doesn’t feel cramped or suffocating. • Comfortable bed and sheets – great for a restful sleep. • Heated towel rack in the bathroom – very convenient for keeping towels dry and even drying washed clothes. • Washing machine – a huge plus, especially with a laundry pod provided under the sink. • Coffee machine – a big bonus for coffee lovers!

The not-so-good: • Late check-in (4 PM) – most hotels worldwide allow check-in at 2 PM. Charging €30 for early check-in at 2 PM doesn’t feel fair, even with lockers available downstairs. • Maintenance issues – minor details like fading paint, a broken ceiling in the toilet, and general wear and tear take away from the overall aesthetic and give the impression of heavy turnover. • Expired welcome chocolates – not a major issue, but still an unpleasant surprise. • Excessive messages and emails – while attentive service is appreciated, too much communication can become overwhelming. • Noise at night – even with the provided earplugs, it was a bit noisy (and this wasn’t even on a weekend), so it’s something to consider.

Great location. Best night-life, restaurants, pubs... The room is huge and has everything (big bed, sofa, table, chairs, cooktop, fridge...). Nicely decorated (minimalist). It is an old and tall building that was renovated. The room had a balcony and nice view of the street. Good noise-cancel of the window. Lockers to leave luggage in the lobby. The Sonder app works really well, you can anticipate the check-in time paying a small fee, use the chat to talk to staff...

Sonder is a REMOTE hotel. So there is NO RECEPCTION. You CANT buy online and ask to deliver at the hotel. There is no staff 24h. Everything is done using their website/app. You need to fill a bunch of information prior to your arrival, takes some time... Not so safe because someone can go in the building if the door is left open. There is only 1 small elevator so sometimes it takes time for your turn. But it's a good place to stay if you know these information.

This was a fantastic stay in the center of Madrid within walking distance of everything. We stayed in a studio with a king sized bed, 4 pillows, a great kitchenette and the softest biggest towels we've ever had. The little balcony allowed us to peek out at the busy street. The provided earplugs helped with street noise and we slept well. Great shower, a little oil and coffee provided. Loved the lockers allowing us to store luggage as we arrived early. The staff on the chat app were amazing, so helpful and really made us feel taken care of. Would HIGHLY recommend this stay, it was absolutely perfect.

The room is very nice and very spacious, it was nice and clean and had a tiny balcony and a well equipped kitchen. The shower had great pressure and hot water, as well as a heating towels rack which was a nice bonus. The location is central, it’s very close to the Gran Via and to the Sol metro station so getting around was fairly simple.

As it’s located in a central area, the very next door is a club, during the weekdays it didn’t disturb us but the nights during the weekend were awful. We kept waking up to the sounds of loud music and people screaming on the street. The hotel provided earplugs but it didn’t help and the noise was significant. Also, there are no staff members to be found at all in the hotel and they don’t provide cleaning services during the stay.

The check-in process was super easy, we just downloaded Sonder's app and everything was handled via there. Location was great since we are in the middle of everything we wanted to go: Gran Via, Prado, Reina Sofia and even 5 min walking from one of the sight-seeings red buses routes. Staying in the apartment was very pleasent: air conditioning worked really well and we did not have any issues with managing it; mini fridge worked as expected; they left some amenities in the apartment like coffee capsules and some candies; washing machine worked really well too which was great. The apartment also had a microwave and a cooktop and we used both without any issues. So, the apartment was really complete so we can just arrive and do anything almost as you were at your house. About the cleaning, the apartment had a broom and a dustpan. But, if you wanted a real cleaning by Sonder, you need to pay, but the 1st cleaning is free. However, we didn't use it and we cleaned ourselves, but our towels were not changed and I think this is only done when you request the cleaning. We would definitely stay over there again!

We just had 2 issues: - Acoustic of the apartment because sometimes we could hear noises from other apartments. - Sofa-bed was just ok, but we could handle it. The apartment also needs a painting because of its long usage, but nothing that worried us or give a bad impression of it.

The room was in an excellent central location within easy walking distance of all the main attractions, or 5 minutes walking distance to the Sol or Sevilla metro to travel further. Having a small convenience Carrefour store next door was ideal for stocking up on essentials. The room was well kitted out with everything we needed. When we had a small issue with me not being able to get the coffee machine to work, the staff responded to my message almost immediately and came up to fix it. I was very impressed! Air conditioning was excellent and very welcome as most days were around 36-38 degrees during our August stat.

At night the room is a bit noisy due to being so centrally located next to bars and clubs in the street below, but I fully expected that from previous reviews, so it didn't bother me. Ear plugs are provided. We were on the 5th floor, so I imagine it's much louder below. If you want a very quiet night, it probably isn't the place for you, but if you don't mind a vibrant buzz and want to be central, it's excellent!

The people, especially Paula are exceptional. Even though we got in on Xmas, we were looked after from beginning to end, with super speed responses at any time of the day. We even got a free early check in as a Christmas present! It was as if nothing was asking too much. I love Sonder. Gorgeous location, lovely finished apartment with a super bathroom

The pillows 😞 They weren't the most comfortable. Also the views from both our windows were of inner walls/ courtyards but that will depend on which apartment you get. Honestly, there's not much to not like.
