The staffs are really warm, professional, and attentive. Ammar, Isabelle and a shot hair lady I forgot her name were all wonderful and helpful with our needs! Room was colorful and with different theme. Shower water was great and heat was nice. Breakfast was good with many selection and I think the price was fair consider you are in downtown Madrid.

The location was great and centro, but since it's too close to the main street, the noise from street was very bad and I wish they could install double window to ensure guest's quality of sleep.

The location is fantastic! The hotel is just a few steps from Puerta del Sol, which makes it a fantastic base for exploring Madrid. The staff is very kind and helpful, and this goes both for the receptionists and the girls from the breakfast area. This hotel has an identity and you will wittness many little nice gestures throughout your stay. The architecture of the hotel is very beautiful, also when it comes to the interiors. The bed was very comfortable and we got a good rest every night. Kettle and tea in the room were nice to have, and there were enough hangers. And you shouldn't worry about going hungry, as there are many gastronomy points in the near vicinity of the hotel.

Those are just some minor points that didn't really affect us that much, but could be fixed for even better experience in the future: the room we got was a little bit too dark (but it may also be an advantage in the summer months?), the AC didn't want to turn off from the room, so we had to ask the reception to switch it off centrally for us, and the breakfast could offer a bit bigger choice of food...

The hotel is really nice and well situated. You can easily visit various places in Madrid by walking from this hotel. The receptionists were really nice and know how to speak English well. They were helpful and gave us several tips. Gave us a bottle of water and sweets as well on our first night.

The room is a bit too dull in my opinion. We had the room themed 'the wicked' although I like the concept and design, the lights of the room where a bit too dim and I found it very difficult to wear my contact lenses. The mattress was too soft and when we were getting in the lift to check out we noticed a worker handling a new mattress and going to the room we were assigned. It's a pity it wasn't replaced before we checked in. Overall these are small details but require a bit of attention.

Everything was good, and the incorporation of theme was an excellent idea (it wasn't cause for a downcheck, but I notice a lot of things, and the mime signs on the floors were cluing to a different numbered floor - for example, I think the mime was in a figure 4 shape for the floor number 3, and when I checked, some of the others seemed similarly confused). I personally prefer oatmeal for breakfast, and didn't get it anywhere in Europe. We also like having washcloths, and hadn't gotten the news that Europe doesn't believe in them (you had hand towels, which worked fine - again, it was all good). And, I prefer a separate bed sheet from the sheet-wrapped quilt, and didn't find that anywhere but in one of a dozen hotels in Europe.

Nothing not to like.

Perfect located in the middle of Madrid, the hotel is the right choice to explore the city without a car. Just use public transport or walk through city is the best way! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is provided in a small but lovely breakfast room on the rooftop and gives you the opportunity to start into the day with everything you'll need.

Be prepared that you might hear some noises from rooms next to yours and their bathrooms/toilets. Some people might be sensitive on this.

The hotel is very centrally located, only half minute walking to the Plaza de Canalejas. It is on walking distance of the Plaza del Sol and the Plaza Mayor and 15 minutes walking to the long and vibrant shopping street Gran Via. The shopping area in Madrid is big and in walking distance of the hotel. Most of the highlights are walkable. From the airport Bus 203 leads to the station (Plaze de) Cibeles: the hotel is 15 minutes walking from there via Gran Via and then Calle de Alcala. There are lots of restaurants in the area. Hotel room space was standard, breakfast was good and enough. The Madrid Hop on Hop Off is a good way to have a first look at the touristic attractions.

The location was amazing. It was within walking distance to most of the sights to see. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and the area felt safe. The breakfast up on the roof level was good and the staff up there was so sweet and cheerful. We had to wait a bit for our room to be ready but they were able to store our bags while we wandered around for a while.

A few small things. The shower did not drain properly and the toilet cover would not stay up, but as mentioned, just small things.

This hotel is in a great spot- you can walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, the lovely Plaza Santa Ana, Prado, metro stop Sol It’s lively at night- yet quiet inside. They do a generous breakfast (I’m vegan- not much for me but coffee). All the staff I spoke with were great: Veronica😻, Toño😻! The rooms each have unique and dramatic decor. I will return- my second stay at this place. Try the coffee shops and bars on the same street, some are like time travel like La Venecia, or a mix of new and old Viva Madrid, and great vegan food on the next block at Artemesia. I loved the Rústico coffee shop a couple doors down.

Nothing.

Fantastic location to go around the city center, especially if you're going out at night. Much more affordable than the various upscale hotels around the same spot. Spotless too. Breakfast is extremely barebones, but accordingly priced so it's not a ripoff, just purely functional.

Absolutely no noise isolation inside the building, guests next door will be having their shower right in your bed. Beds not the worst, but quite shaky and not the most comfortable.

Any staff we encountered were extremely helpful (especially the Syrian guy on reception whose name I can't remember). The hotels location is perfect, in the thick of shopping, restaurants and bars but on an alleyway so not noisy. The room had plenty of space and character and the Rituals toiletries in the bathroom felt luxurious. The breakfast was nice and the rooftop terrace was a luxury. It's not a fancy hotel with a lobby to lounge in but for what it is, it's really great, and very good value. It exceeded my expectations.

Didn't get down to breakfast until 10,am on the first day and the options were a little limited as some of the food had run out.
