Gorgeous! Amazing staff and the best location.

The front desk was extremely helpful for a variety of ways during our stay. Everyone was so pleasant and courteous. Our room was splendid, breakfast was super and the location couldn’t be better. We were very happy for our choice of hotel and would recommend the Urban to anyone staying in Madrid.

We were on the 5th floor and could hear some of the activity from the 6th floor bar at night. It wasn’t disruptive but just there.

My stay was overall pleasant, though I did notice that the soundproofing of the rooms could be improved. While the hotel itself offers great amenities and a comfortable atmosphere, I could occasionally hear sounds from the hallway and neighboring rooms. It didn’t significantly affect my stay, but light sleepers may want to consider bringing earplugs for a more restful experience. Despite this, the staff was attentive, and the location was very convenient.

Room 540 was brilliant and also had room 349 & 341 which were both excellent. Staff were magnificent. Very well trained and consistently of high quality right across the hotel. Celebrated a big Birthday on our visit, reception staff noticed on check in. Spoiled us with bottle of bubbly and chocolates in our room. Lovely Surprise. Will highly recommend to Friends and Family who travel to Madrid

Swimming Pool & Terrace bar - closed given time of year but maybe would have been nice to have the bar at least open on Friday or Saturday night with heaters -Small issue.

Great location with easy access to lots of different areas of Madrid. The rooftop bar was good for late night drinks and daytime snacks & coffee, lunch etc. It was too hot to sit on the terrace in August but it looked nice. Good service with doorman an added extra. Free beers in the room was a nice touch. Good air-conditioning in the room which was needed in the heat of summer.

The room was quite small but was nonetheless well designed. Our bathroom door was broken so didn't shut properly but the shower was good.

Amazing location that was centrally placed for exploring Madrid. Airport was 15 mins in cab and easy to find and use in both directions. At the hotel Staff were all individually helpful In Their roles,.from the rooftop barman to the reception team. The room was as expected with a top hotel. Nice finishing touches included hair straighteners and “the White Company” toiletries which smelt gorgeous.

A turn down service is offered but feel it’s not needed T this hotel and it was used when I was out on one of the nights. I had said no the first night. They opened up a skyline set of windows, I couldn’t reach to close and therefore meant it was noisy and cold the second night.

Breakfast was excellent. On a par with the Grand Amsterdam and Old Majestic in Barcelona.

We had to move rooms. There was a plumbing issue in our first room. There was a leak from the basin. Towels on floor to mop up. We think the hotel knew about it, and had been an issue for some time, and not an easy fix for the hotel, hence the reason after 3 complaints, we got another room. All of that was not really handled well.

The location is perfect, The rooftop is amazing, and the look of the hotel is very beautiful. The pool is nice and clean and the bar is inviting. Nice cocktails!

What I did not like too much was I had a room without a street view so no direct sunlight. The floor of the room was damaged. The safe did not work even when I asked three days in a row to fix it. Some drawers in the closet were broken.
