The location is fantasic - two minutes walking right after the metro exit and easy access to the Sol plaza. We can walk to most of the attractions in Madrid west side within 20-minute range. The room was not big but there were four beds so everyone could enjoy the comfort rest. The window view is fabulous from the 5F. Although it is on a crowd street, it was actually very quiet in the night with windows closed.

The overall space was okay considering there were four beds and in the top floor with the attic shape. However still wish there could be a little more usable space.

Lovely small hotel right in the centre of Madrid. A taxi is a set price 33e from the airport. Rooms very clean, very quiet, we were on the 5th floor. Staff on reception very friendly and helpful. There is an empty small fridge in bedroom with mini supermarket just across the road. No food served in hotel but there is a room with tables/chairs and coffee machine, kettle and microwave. We brought our own plastic plates/knives and cups in our luggage so were able to prepare our own breakfast every morning. There are very few plug outlets in the room so bring twin plug adapters. They have a locked room for storing luggage if your room is not ready/late flight leaving. Just one little thing that was a bit annoying, there is a safe in the wardrobe but to be able to lock it with the key you need to put 1euro in the slot, this euro goes into a sealed section so not refundable, just if you need to open the safe a few times during your stay you will need to spend 1euro each time to be able to lock it. On leaving, book your airport taxi the night before from reception and taxi driver meets you outside the front door. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the bedrooms but being this close to central Madrid it dosent really matter.

The perfect location after shopping all day and not having to travel too far from the Gran Via. The views were great, as well as the decor and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Situated within a 2 minute walk from the Sol metro station which was ideal and also there is a room and toilets within the hotel with sofas, microwaves, vending machines and luggage storage for if you need to kill time before flights/trains etc. Will definitely be going back!

Obviously being amidst the hustle and bustle, prepare for a bit of noise outside but this didn't bother us and besides we booked to stay on a day when both of Madrid's football teams were playing against each other, so this was expected

A clean friendly little basic hotel in a superb position just off a beautiful central Madrid square. The road out side was busy but not too noisy. Quite late at night. Great shops, cafe's restaurants and grocery stores metres from our hotel. Walking distance of many of the sites. Lots of taxis about if needed. Friendly 24 hour hotel receptionists. A very clean large dining room with micro wave where you can bring in takeaways and eat. Fridge in room. Basic with no frills whatsoever but highly recommended and would return.

Don’t be put off by initial impressions. This is a 2 star property but it is the best location in Madrid - right at Puerta del Sol in the heart of everything. It might be 2 star but our room was super clean and comfortable - a great bed and an excellent shower. No frills - but there is a mini fridge in every room & a lounge for guest’s use with a kettle & microwave. And there is a lift!! Our room was at the back so it was fairly quiet. The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke good English. We would stay again!

Location is prime if you want to stay in the middle of the city everything around including the hustle and bustle of the city.

When arrived they gave us an ugly room where there was a noises of construction at the contiguous room, I asked them for a new room out of the noise, one of the personnel tried to convince me to stay in that room because the construction will stop in 40 minutes, then another lady came in and found a new room same number of beds but with the bathroom more spacious and no noises.

This hotel was a great find. Nothing extravagant but perfect for us. Location was great, rooms clean, bathroom large. When we checked in the receptionist was very very helpful. She told us we didn't want a room with the balcony as this was the Independence Day celebration. The streets were full of celebrating and music all night. We were early for check in and she quickly found another room that would be more quiet. She then gave us a lot of ideas of what to do and how to find the train back to the main train station. She went over and above. When we returned later another staff member was there and he was just as helpful! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Room was quite, air conditioned, roomy and a 2 minute walk to the train. I would stay here again. Thank you so much for the hospitality

Everything was wonderful. I rated the room with a view as n/a only because with the events happening in the square we choose not to get a room with a balcony. But otherwise it would have been nice!

This property is fantastic if you're planning to move around the Madrid Center, you have everything within walking distance and you have the Sol metro station around the corner and also you have the gran via 100 mts away

Well, for people that is looking for something perfect, this is not your place, because it's a two-star hotel, but if you're a traveler who likes the hotel just for sleep, the hotel is perfect, maybe the hotel should update the blanket and bed sheets, but that's it

Location is excellent. Literally seconds from the front door to Sol Plaza and Metro Station. Despite the hustle and bussle outside the interior of the hotel was remarkably quiet. The room we had, at the back so no view, was unbelievably quiet and combined with comfortable beds we had a good night's sleep every time. All the receptionists we met were super helpful, friendly and professional. AirCon worked, as did the shower although we didn't try the jets. A fridge to store water etc was very useful. Nice touch having reasonably priced vending machines and a lounge cum dining area where you can bring in takeaways if you liked. Overall somewhere I'd happily stay again.

Bath towels weren't great ie on the small side and slightly rough. Overall impression of the place, lobbies, furniture etc is that it's a little rough around the edges. But for it's location, rates and the fact it isn't 3, 4 or 5* that's not unexpected.

It was noisy all night long. But we were warned about this when we checked in. It just meant we couldn't have balcony door open during the night. But when balcony door was shut, it kept almost all street noise out. Hotel was centrally located next to main plaza. It was an easy short walk to lots of senic sights and activities. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating to our wishes! Would stay there again!
