- I loved the style of the apartment - Lady and gentleman at reception were very helpful and friendly - Aircon worked wonders for the humid nights - Private terrace was amazing, roof top views of buildings

-Paper received in the room stating to clean the place as you found it and take out your own garbage. When I book Airbnb or hotels I always strip the beds and put all the dirty towels together as well as wash dishes - and I think that is more than enough. Who wants to go on holiday and spend your last day cleaning? The apartment was VERY dusty, yet you are asked to clean before you leave?!? - Having to walk 2 blocks to throw away your garbage - Duvets given, but no covers - which made me wonder how often these are washed - Broom was broken - No hot water

The location was perfect, an easy and short walk to all major attractions. Having a person at the front desk was a huge bonus, she was extremely helpful.

The internet. The internet is an unsecured connection, so it is open to anyone making it a huge security risk. Most websites won't allow connection to unsecured net connections.

Something very tiny, but the room locks are with the codes and it's very unreliable, because my room's code for example stopped working the next day and with no reception person nearby. It makes me very uncomfortable to know that it could theoretically happen at night

We stayed for only one night. The place was bigger than it looked in photos, the location is downtown, but not in the middle of everything. The windows are definitely not soundproof so you’ll hear every vehicle on the street at night, even though it’s actually a relatively low traffic street. The kitchen has the basic utensils, but no basics to cook with (coffee, tea, salt, oil, spices, etc). It was perfectly fine for a one night stay.

We didn’t like the vibe of the place for a relaxing vacation. There are little info sheets everywhere reminding you that you have to pay a deposit and if you don’t clean, take out the trash, do the dishes, etc they’ll keep the 150 euro deposit. We did all those things and it’s fine, but wouldn’t stay here again. As far as I know they didn’t charge us the deposit, but having those flyers everywhere and paying three digits to stay somewhere should include the cleaning service, at least when you check out. It didn’t feel very hospitable. No one wants to go on holiday and have a to do list on arrival at their vacation rental. So be prepared for that if you’re considering a longer stay.

In generał solid 9. Location is perfect. Short walk to the city center and major attractions. Very close to the train going to the airport. We took taxi from the airport and train to the airport on the way back and train looks to be faster (and 10x cheaper…). People in reviews are complaining the noise from the street. Regular city noise, garbage trucks, cars, etc. I live in the city and it didn’t bothered me or my family at all. The room was comfortable and big enough. We have noticed it was equipped with all necessary cooking and dining stuff, we didn’t used it but better to have this just in case. Maybe the only thing we have missed was a coffee machine for a quick morning shot. Reception staff was all very nice, helpful and positive. Very good hospitality.

The room was clean with some improvements needed in the toilet. It was all covered with a dust. In my opinion it was coming from not cleaned vent system. It was visible on the white ceramics and after wiping coming back. I guess it should be checked by the operator. Some floor tiles were loose (not falling out) making sounds when walking. Silicone may need replacement in the shower. In general nothing big to complain but necessary to mention for operator to fix. Difficult to find a parking spot in the evening if you rent a car.

Electrical power points in Kitchen . Hidden and difficult to access. Unable to plug in kettle and toaster in Kitchen area. If using power point in press ,wire had to cross over cooker top. Dangerous.

The staff are incredible, all so friendly and accommodating. Reception, management, the cleaning staff, the maintenance team, you could tell that they all enjoy working here. The apartment was pristine, cool and air conditioned for the hot summer, spotless and had all the luxuries you could expect, everything looks exactly like the original show pictures and great care goes into looking after your stay, every bit of information is worth listening to on check in as it will add so much value to your time here, and make life easy. The communication was fantastic, paying ahead for your stay and providing your information before arrival such as travel document numbers etc speeds everything up, we got in late so we had all entry details sent when our apartment was ready to our booking.com app. This was our second visit, this time for longer and it was the best choice, book a roof terrace if you can you won’t regret it. Both our rooms for our stays even though were a few years apart were as if it was the next day, so clean and welcoming and everything in top condition. Please don’t just take our word for it! Book and Enjoy! :) also should I add, the perfect location in the city too. x

Nothing at all, we could not have been happier, with the accommodation and the service received.

The location is very good. You can walk to everything, the historical center in 5-10 minutes. At the same time you are away from the noise and the crowds in the heart of the city. The trains to the airport are only 5-10 minutes away. There is an open and friendly reception until 19.00 everyday, and after that you can turn to Hotel Astoria's reception when in need. The room we stayed in had a well equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom with toiletries. The air conditioning worked perfectly all the seven days we were there and also the first days when it was 37 degrees outside. The codes for the main entrance and the apartment were sent to us in advance, which means you can check in any time and you don't need to walk around with a bundle of keys and being afraid to lose them. The codes also let us three people in the apartment come and go without problems with too few keys.

The distance to the beach given in booking.com (750 m) is not correct and it takes you only to the harbour. The real walking distance to the beach, La Malagueta, is at least 1.3 km. (This was not our first time in Malaga and the Soho district, though, so we knew that when we booked.) Cleaning could be much better. It should be stated and informed clearly in the description of the hotel in booking.com that they don't clean your room or take out your garbage. You are supposed to do that yourself during your stay and when leaving. We were told that we get one cleaning, since we stayed at least seven days.

Perfect location. Nice neighbourhood. Elevator available (apartment on the 6th floor!). Comfortable, big bed. Good information available for restaurants

We had quite noisy neighbours on the floor above. We asked at reception if they could alert these guests to the nuisance but they were reluctant to address it. In other words, noise remained.

Again a great location with a self checkin as we arrived after reception hours. Lots of good places to eat or drink nearby. Nice kitchen with a coffeemaker and coffee and milk provided. Good king size, comfy and nice shower too. Reception was a bit off as we asked for a late checkup and the person on the desk was very flippant in replying no without any discussion. As I couldn't understand why not, I contacted the main office and was pleasantly surprised when the person said, was totally possible. This is an upscale property perhaps they too need to educate their front desk personal in customer service!!!
