The hotel left me thoroughly disappointed. During my vacation, I had to deal with a couple of troublesome issues. Firstly, there was a noticeable and annoying presence of cigarette smoking by the pool, which greatly detracted from my relaxation by the water. What's worse, I witnessed numerous guests extinguishing their cigarettes in beverage cups, not only unsightly but also hazardous. This seriously disrupted my experience, and I cannot recommend this place to those seeking cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort during their stay.

We were really pleased with our stay at AluaSun! For a 3-star hotel, it exceeded our expectations not only did we get what we expected, but we also enjoyed some lovely surprises, like the amazing animation team and super friendly staff. There’s something happening every day from morning until 10:30 PM, which keeps the atmosphere lively and fun. We don’t have kids, but if you do, this place is fantastic the animation team is outstanding: always smiling, engaging with guests, and especially great with children. A special thanks to the wonderful Front of House team : Lidia, Carlos, Moamed, Juan Antonio, Ismael, Daniel and everyone else we didn’t get to meet personally. You all do a brilliant job accommodating over 300 guests daily. And a big thank you as well to the Back of House team often hidden behind the scenes for consistently providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for so many people. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed! As for the location, Cala Antena is quite limited if you don’t have a car, so if you’re the type who enjoys exploring, renting one is a good idea. That said, there’s a beautiful beach just 10 minutes away on foot — Cala Domingos — which is definitely worth a visit. Overall, a great experience and excellent value. Highly recommend! We know it’s a 3-star hotel and that the building is quite old, with only some areas partially refurbished. However, the rooms are not soundproof at all we could clearly hear noise from the hallway and neighbouring rooms. When we raised this with reception, one of the staff members responded rather rudely with “it is what it is…”, which was disappointing.

Hotel and rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is very friendly. Free parking available in the area close to the hotel. Food and drinks were always accessible, and every evening there’s a different event (Lion King musical, ABBA singers, DJ etc.). The food is good and diverse, with a different themed dinner each night (e.g., Asian, Italian, Spanish evening…).

You might get a bit tired of the food after a while, but that’s probably just a matter of personal taste.

The room was clean and had everything you need - balcony, plug sockets beside the bed and the room was huge. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and they all work so hard. Especially in the bar area at night when it gets super busy..they never stop. The entertainment was good too. They had aqua aerobics and activities during the day. At night they had entertainment outside which was really good too. The entertainment staff were brilliant too. Really kept everyone involved and had fun. The hotel is big with 2 pools. One is a smaller children's pool and the other is a decent sized pool. There are plenty of sun loungers where if you wanted one, you'd get it. The hotel was clean too. It's in a good area, overlooking a cove. You can walk down to the beach, or walk to a cliff over looking the cove. The beach is quite small, but it does the trick. You get to it via steps but it's good to go see it. It is around the corner from loads of shops, a few bars and restaurants. There is also mini golfing etc. So it's in a good location too. We were all inclusive. The food is grand, with plenty of it. More or less usual stuff you'd get at an all inclusive hotel. They also make fresh stuff like omelette's, pancakes, fish, pork etc to your liking. The hotel also has a snack bar outside where the bar is that does chips, burgers, hot dogs etc. It's open to 6 which is great. It means If you don't fancy anything at lunch you can go there. The bar is great. They have soft drink machines that people pour their own so they don't have to wait at the bar. They also have a slushy machine. They also do different cocktails on different days. For the price, the hotel was very good. We enjoyed it. It had everything you need for a holiday. We would definitely come back again. Some reviews I seen before I went made me think we made a mistake, but everything was grand.

Although the food was good, sometimes it was the same food day in, day out. Maybe a bit more selection. After dinner, the bar area can get quite busy. There are sometimes quite a queue to get a drink. Although, you'd queue in a normal bar to get a drink too so it didn't bother us too much.

Hotel has everything you need, organized evenings are really good but for older people, family. Clean, good location, nearest beach is ok but there are many better places/beaches in Majorca

Staff in the kitchen was too noisy, banging plates, collecting plates before the food is finished. a real feeling of discomfort and a desire to leave the room as soon as possible...

Everything was AMAZING. The staff is very polite, the room and amenities are great. The food was great as well, since breakfasts, snacks, dinner and drinks.

Food is great but sometimes it is kind of repetitive, but everything is very well cooked and prepared. The pool closes at 6 which is unfortunate in summer time.

• The pool is very small for the amount of people who are staying at the hotel. • Cala Antena Beach has many rocks which make it impossible to swim there, however, there is another beach called Cala Domingos which is amazing! 15 minutes walk from the hotel. • The hotel does not offer taxi or shuttle bus transfers. • Large variety of food although much of it was tasteless but you can always find salt, pepper and many dressings.
