The building has been completely modernized and restored, and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The bar food was delicious and it was nice to sit out on the patio.

Part of the reason we came from the United States to spend part of our vacation in Mundaka was because of its location in a predominantly Basque-speaking area, so it was disappointing that none of the hotel staff spoke Basque. As the sign entering the village says, “hemen euskaraz bizi gara.” Also, the wifi signal in the rooms on the top floor was very weak.

Truly one of the best hotels I have ever been! Everything was just perfect. Super helpful and friendly staff, beautifully designed, spacious and clean room with great view. I loved that they use Rituals as their brand for bathroom products. Breakfast was served in super fancy restaurant again with great attention for detail. It’s a pity we only stayed for one night, because I was sad to leave this place. Hotel has its own parking.

The bathroom is a bit dark for doing your make-up XD

Very convenient for travelers: bus to Bilbao right in front of the hotel; hotel has its own restaurant + local cafes cross the road, supermarket next door Our room is not big but functional & spotless, bed is very comfortable, bath towels are of high quality. Luruna Palacio has its own secured car park which is not always the case in Spain. Above all, the staff of this hotel are exceptional. Our big thanks to the lovely Itsasu. She’s often above and beyond her duty helping her guests, she’s a real asset to the hotel. Itsasu made our stay extra special. Big kisses & hugs from Australia :)

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff even more so, they honestly couldn’t have been better, first trip to the basque region and it’s no wonder the people are so proud of their little corner of the world, the staff in this hotel really are a credit to the owners

Beautifully restored old building located in the heart of the town. We were really delighted with the warm welcome afforded to us by Fidel whose attention to detail was superb.

High end styling. Spotlessly clean. Charming, friendly, helpful staff. Quiet. On-site parking. Excellent air conditioning.

Nothing to dislike but be aware that the restaurant isn’t open every evening.

Behind the historic walls of the Palacio Larrinaga there is a stunning modern hotel full of professional people and unexpected luxuries waiting for its guests.

Central, lovely room with large bed, nice toiletries. Breakfast was great. Nice small bar.

Parking was a bit hard to find due to one way system.
